Good and friendly staff

Poor breakfast Great troubles with Internet connection.

In general I was rather delighted by Hotel Wilhelmshöher Tor. My 1-person- room was uncommonly spacious, the interior was nothing special but neat and clean, wifi was free, the staff was nice and helpful, and breakfast was tasty - I particularly liked the fruit salad in small glass jars. And the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Would definitely use this hotel again.

The wifi - although free - was not entirely reliable. And it's a bit out of the centre - even though Kassel has good public transport and a "Konrad" rental bikes dock is nearby.

If you're looking for a fancy place with lots of amenities this is not for you. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, friendly place then it is. A bit outside Kassel, its easy to get to and located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of green.

Comfortable bed and excellent choice for a continental style breakfast.

Limited parking - so a map showing parking would have been useful. Could do with a diagram on how to open the hotel room door, as we had to get the staff out of bed. We did arrive quite late (11pm) so it would have been nice to see a member of staff waiting for us.

This was by far the most comfortable and spacious single room I ever had. Very intelligent use of space. (The bed is diagonally situated in a corner! This interior architecture provides a lot of space and functionality.) Nice and very functional writing desk. In this hotel they have a sharp eye for detail. You can see this of course in the rooms, but also see and taste it at breakfast. The breakfastroom is beautifully designed and comfortable and the food is presented with a great feeling of “finesse”. (The fresh fruit salad, for instance.) The quality is absolutely superb and what's more: every day (at least the 3 days of my stay), new choices are offered. I was really quite impressed and hereby I wish to express my gratitude and admiration to the 'breakfast-staff'. There is no minibar in the room, but downstairs at the reception there is a help-you-self fridge with lots of fine German beers and wines and alcoholfree drinks. The price-quality relation of this hotel is (in my eyes), extremely good.

Quiet, clean, friendly staff. Good breakfast service. It would be a good place for a retreat/weekend getaway.

A little too remote if you are going to the city center

Picked this hotel primarily due to the proximity to the Löwenburg castle ruins. Proved to be a bit more difficult than it appeared on the map due to lots of road works and one way streets. On street parking is a premium in the area so an early start is essential if this is a reason for your stay. Proved to be a great hotel for what we wanted to do. Service was polite, rooms clean and quiet. Not much parking at the hotel but we secured a spot.

Though the food was nice breakfast selections were rather small compared to other hotels we stayed at and offered no hot food other than the standard hard boiled eggs in shell. WiFi was impossible to use, free, but keep dropping out and could not even access emails let alone the Internet.

Très bon accueil, la réceptionniste parlait un peu le français. Établissement très propre les consommations bios, petits déjeuners bios et copieux. Propreté; situé à 7mn du centre. Bien desservi par les bus. Possibilité de parking gratuit.

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, mit dem Bus ist man in wenigen Minuten am Bahnhof Wilhelmshöhe und man kann zu Fuß vom Hotel aus Wanderungen in verschiedene Richtungen machen, wie z.B. zum Bismarckturm und zum Schloss und dem Schlosspark. Die Zimmer sind sehr nett und sauber, und ich finde die Idee sehr nett jedem Zimmer nicht nur eine Nummer, sondern auch einen Märchennamen zu geben und die Märchen auch noch für jeden Gast auszudrucken. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr lecker und es gab auch Brot ohne Weizen, den ja nicht jeder verträgt. Wir werden, wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Kassel kommen, sicher wieder dort nach einem freien Zimmer fragen.

Das freundliche Personal und die Sauberkeit des Zimmers.

Das Bad war eher winzig, zu zweit war kein Platz, die Dusche recht eng und zeigte schon einige Alterserscheinungen. Die Isolation der Zimmer sehr mangelhaft: aus dem Zimmer unter uns hörte man den Fernseher, gar nicht zu sprechen von dem Zimmer nebenan.

Prima hotel in rustige omgeving, uitstekende service en zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Ganz besonders gefallen hat meiner Tochter und mir das Frühstück mit den Bio-Angeboten- sehr abwechslungsreich und schön gerichtet.

ein sehr schönes Hotel, leider etwas abseits von der Stadt. Man muss die Busfahrpläne genau beachten. Die Zimmer sind freundlich eingerichtet, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Bemerkenswert: Das Hotel ist bio!

Accoglienza e ospitalità. Belle camere e bello l'albergo. Davvero eccellente la colazione, cibi freschi e ricercati. Molto tranquillo, pulito e curato, direi impeccabile.

Nettes, hilfbereites Personal, Bio-Hotel, gutes, reichhaltiges Frühstück, sauber, ruhig, Bushaltestellen direkt am Haus! Leider fährt der letzte Bus vom Bhf Wilhelmshöhe schon um 19.45 in Richtung Hotel. Sonst hätte man ein Taxi nehmen müssen! Aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nichts! War wirklich erholsam dort!!

De kamer en de badkamer waren keurig, het ontbijt was perfect alles biologisch.

De ligging was ver van het centrum vandaan, er is wel een bushalte voor de deur, maar de bus die we nodig haden voor de terugrit ging niet meer na 19:30, dus hebben we een taxi moeten nemen,

Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand und ist von der Autobahn aus schnell zu erreichen und ohne dass man durch die Innenstadt fahren muss. Zum Frühstück gibt es Bio-Produkte. Die Hotelzimmer sind nach Grimm-Märchen benannt und im Zimmer sind diese im Stil alter Stiche als Bild aufgehängt (mein Zimmer war z. B. das tapfere Schneiderlein, das daneben Rapunzel).

Lärmempfindliche könnten eventuell ein Problem mit der Strasse haben. Der öffentliche Parkplatz ist ein Seitenstreifen zur Strasse und war (am Freitagabend zur Zeit der Dokumenta) gut besetzt.

Modern, fris, schoon en kleinschalig. Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Gunstige ligging, rand villawijk, met busdiensten naar centrum.
