Hotel Wilhelmshöhe Auderath

Everything about our stay at the hotel was fantastic. From the moment one of the owners, Jacqueline, greeted us at the door until the time we left the experience was stress-free and phenomenal. We had dinner there the night in which we stayed, as cooked by Jacqueline's husband, and it was absolutely delightful. If you're anywhere in the Auderath area (including the Nürburgring), you owe it to yourself to stay here. It's worth it.

The owners were very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. The rooms are quite modern in design and very comfortable. The shades on the window did not allow any extra light in, so I could sleep in past 1pm after a night at Rock am Ring. The view from my room was pleasant, overlooking the back yard of the hotel which is tastefully landscaped.

Having stopped all over the world in many different hotels, I can definitely say that this Hotel should be the blueprint to which all hotels should be run! As a family run hotel, it is very much like being welcomed into someone's home. The decor is top notch, the welcome warm and friendly, the service, second to none with nothing seemingly being too much trouble. It is within easy driving distance of the famous Nürburgring Circuit and serves as an excellent base for visits there - be it the Nordschleife or GP circuit - and is excellently placed for other Eifel region tourist activities. True, it is in a fairly odd location, as has been alluded to in previous reviews, being set back on a main road next to a petrol station, but this definitely does not detract - the only sounds that we heard in two days were bird song coming from the extensive, and immaculately cared for lawn and grounds. Dining wise, we had a meal in the restaurant one evening which frankly was outstanding in terms of choice, presentation, quality, taste and service; Ulrich is a consummate and top quality chef - it is worth a visit just to have him cook for you! By contrast, the next evening, we chose to eat in the nearby and 'famous' Pistenklause restaurant in Nürburg just to see it and test the reputation. Frankly, we shouldn't have bothered and should have elected to have another meal 'at home' as it was no where near as good! Breakfasts are good with an excellent choice of meats, cheese, breads and pastries and copious amounts of Tea and Coffee, though Italian guests may be disappointed not to find wall to wall cakes and sweet things, and certainly no cake with pepperoni sausage in it, as we found a few days previously in Turin! Bottom line - an excellent standard of accommodation, excellent food and above all, very, very good service which is truly deserving of a 10 out of 10! A great basis for visiting the Eifel Region and the Nürburgring in particular - highly recommended!

saubere zimmer, freundlich wirtin, sehr gute küche, absolut ruhig, ideale lage zum nürburgring - wirtin hat sogar ihre garage für meinen sportwagen geräumt!

Zeer goede ontvangst en lekkere hotelkamer.Vriendelijkheid eigenaar was plezierig, evenals het uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet. (koffie stond helaas de hele ochtend te pruttelen)

We wisten het al, maar er is echt niets te doen in de nabije omgeving. Anders dan wandelen of met de MTB. Daarnaast ligt het hotel pal naast een bezinestation en een doorgaande weg. Kamers aan de voorkant hebben hier zeker last van. Het eten was matig vonden wij. Kleine kaart en gerechten waren niet om naar huis te schrijven helaas. De zeer veel lovende berichten via booking.com kwamen ons iets te optimistisch over. Zijn vaker in Duitsland geweest en hebben zeker betere plekken gehad.

Eten TOP, Keuken FLOP ! We hadden de tafel gereserveerd voor 18H00, om 20H30 hadden de kinderen eindelijk hun dessert. Bijzetbed kon omschreven worden als "het schurend scharniertje". Toen we dit vermeldde, werd ons dit niet aangerekend, pluspunt. Kamer was niet verwarmd bij onze aankomst. Gedurende de rest van ons verblijf hebben we het ook niet aangenaam warm gekregen. Hotel ligt aan een relatief rustige weg, behalve 's nachts. Uitverkoren weg voor opgefokte motors. Ons verblijf viel tijdens het week-einde.

Een uitstekend hotel met prachtige moderne kamers en een romantisch restaurant dat niet moet onderdoen voor een viersterrenrestaurant. Het vriendelijkste personeel dat je je kan wensen met een goede beheersing van de engelse taal.

De gps stuurde ons fout, het hotel is op de grote baan ipv op de aangegeven baan. Na een telefoontje naar het hotel was alles direct duidelijk.

Zeer motorvriendelijk hotel met een even vriendelijke eigenaresse en personeel. Prima ontbijt en uitstekend restaurant. Mooie, schone kamers. Garages voor motoren.

De vriendelijke ontvangst,zeer goed ontbijt en wat het menu a la carte betreft,alle gekozen gerechten waren zeer lekker. Mijn kamer was zeer rustig en het was een echte niet rokers kamer(er hing geen rookgeur van eventuele vorige gast die zou gerookt hebben)

Er viel mij niks tegen maar de kaart zou misschien ook enkele kleinere of eenvoudigere gerechten mogen hebben.Niet iedereen wil overladen naar bed gaan.S'avond is er wel heel weinig te beleven.

Nous avons étés très bien acceuillis dans un cadre champêtre très agréable. La propreté des lieus ne souffrent d'aucune critiques du parking extérieur jusqu'à la salle de bains de notre chambre. Les repas étaient excellents, bien servis avec des produits de qualité et toujours avec le sourire. La patronne de l'hotel est aux petits soins et est très attentionnée. Je recommende cet établissement à tous ceux qui voyagent dans la région de l'eiffel ou qui, comme nous vont rouler au Nurburgring.

Sehr freundlicher persönlicher Service. Zimmer großzügig, neu modern und qualitativ hochwertig ausgestattet, sehr sauber. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbüffet mit vielen hausgemachten Produkten. Insgesamt innen und außen sehr gepflegt, aber trotzdem mit familiärer Note. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Die Lage an der Bundesstraße ist für Unternehmungen mit dem Auto sehr verkehrsgünstig, die Freizeitmöglichkeiten in der direkten Umgebung sind jedoch begrenzt.

Rustig gelegen. De kamer was recent helemaal gemoderniseerd. Luxueus en comfortabel. Het avondeten was goed en zeker OK qua prijs/kwaliteit. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijke uitbaters en personeel.

De buitenzijde van het hotel is ietwat verouderd, maar de kamers zijn nieuw. Geen WIFI. Spijtig dat er bij het ontbijt ook geen roereieren of ontbijtspek voorzien was.

Prachtig hotel, vriendelijk ,mooie, propere en moderne kamer en aan iedereen aan te bevelen. Super tevreden.

Die Dame des Hauses in ihrer Freundlichkeit, Fröhlichkeit und Weltoffenheit zu erleben, lohnt allein schon einen Besuch. Obwohl die Küche bei unserer Ankunft eigentlich schon geschlossen war, haben wir noch ein Rumpsteak bekommen, wie ich es besser noch nicht gegessen habe .Ich habe noch nie ein Gastro-Bad erlebt, in dem die Silikonfugen so aussahen, als seien sie vor einer Stunde gemacht worden. Kompliment für die unglaubliche Sauberkeit. Der 80iger-Jahre-Charm der Einrichtung hat überhaupt nicht gestört.

Persönlich geführtes Hotel, die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich, motiviert und sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel ersten optischen Eindruck nicht überwältigend, die Zimmer, die Gaststube und der Garten sind aber mit Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und runden das positive Gesamtbild ab. Hervorragendes Frühstück sowohl nach deutschen als auch mit britischen Standard. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen und können das Hotel nur empfehlen. ut

Das Eifelwetter !

Sowohl die Besitzerin als auch das Personal waren wirklich unglaublich freundlich. Nicht diese aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit, sondern eben echt freundlich und nett. Die Ruhe war himmlisch, der Garten wunderschön, das Hotel und die Zimmer gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war super und die hausgemachten Marmeladen ein Highlight! Hier merkt man, dass die Besitzerin ihr Hotel mit Leidenschaft und Liebe führt. Wir waren zu Rock am Ring da, was bedeutet, dass wir leider von der Umgebung nicht allzu viel mitbekommen haben- aber für den nächsten Urlaub in der Eifel (zum Beispiel zum Wandern) haben wir unsere Unterkunft schon!
