Winters Hotel München Am Hauptbahnhof  

Excellent location by the main train station (hauptbahnhof) and the bus to the airport (Lufthansa, from outside the train station, direct to the airport). I had to keep the window open due to the heat. Two men in the room below sat on their window ledge and smoked & joked for a long time. I finally called the front dest and the duty clerk promptly took care of the noise and smoke. -- Thanks !!

I stayed at this hotel when it was Ludwigs ... some upgrades. Still issue the warning that the rooms don't have air conditioning and the cross- breeze through the windows is 'iffy" at best. And the windows are accessible to the fire escape ....

Very good location: 2 min walk from the Central station, closeness to city center, Marienplatz, shopping area, very good value for money, hotel was recently renovated.

I didn't like that I was charged for the storage of my baggage - €1,50 a piece (doesn't matter big or small). I travel a lot and I haven't had such a weird experience since hotels give storage for free!

We really get mad with the hotel staff. Tty lost our record when we checked in. Besides, They are not careful at all. We would like to choose from paying by credit card or euro. So we ask her by checking the rate with our countries currency, But the staff just made us paid before noticing with our credit card and we losed a lot of money from that. She and her Manager did not apologize for that. The worst thing is, we stayed in that hotel and we would like to store our luggage in the hotel for a short trip then pick up. It is charged 1.5 Euro per luggage. That is really stupid for a hotel like that.

Great location. Only 30m from underground station and just across the streen of main rainway station. The hotel has a deal with the parking garage so you can park a car for 24h just for 10€ what is cheep for a center of the town. It is 15min walking to Marienplatz which is the main center of the Munchen. The rooms are clean, we got new towels every days, shampoo and other things are also added every day.

I have stayed there during Feb-11. It is a huge value for money (49 Euro per double bed room). I would advice others to consider this.

- There was quite cold in the room. I increased the level of the heater, but on the next day staff retured in back to mininum. People, if it is -15 outside it is ok to turn on the heater.

Very helpful stuff, very comfortable for the further movement location (close to the central railway station), breakfast was good enough if not to come late.

dirty curtains, the bathroom equipment that didn't work well during one stay and the mashrooms on the wall in the shower room during the other stay, not fresh smell in the room, during our first stay, our double room was too small, there was only space for the bed, table and too chairs. The ski case occupied all the place where we were supposed to replace ourselves. We asked for a luggage room but were were told that they don't have any luggage room. Later we knew that they have one. Perhaps, it was already full? Would prefer to keep the skis separately, this could make our stay more comfortable, anyway, we didn't spend in the room all the time, returned there just to have a sleep.

Everything - the room was smoker's room although I asked to change as we dont smoke but was told that it was not possible, I couldnt sleep. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in!!!

Great price, location and very comfortable. Take the comfort room even though it is a little more expensive. Ours was huge with a living area apart from the bed area.

We were on the 7th floor but the elevator only takes you up to the 6th.
