In the heart of western Berlin, this listed heritage building is a 2 minute walk from Kurfürstendamm shopping street. It offers free Wi-Fi, and is an ideal base for shopping and sightseeing trips.

This family-run hotel is in the Schöneberg district of Berlin, a 10-minute walk from the world-famous KaDeWe Department Store. The Hotel Ambiente has classically furnished rooms, some with free Wi-Fi....

Receptionist was very kind to prepare a tea for me in middle night due to my soar throat
The room which I got was next to the entrance and was loud because of people going in and out of the hotel. In addition to that, room had old furniture and very small bathroom
Good, clean hotel with attractive rates at an arm's length from U-Bahn Station Konstanzer Strasse, and a supermarket around the corner. There is an elevator, so suitable for seniors. No in-house bar or so, but close to the Q-Damm and other facilities. Breakfast is really good. This is my second stay in this hotel.
Not all staff speak good English, so have a bit of patience.
Comfort and Location.
Hotel staff was quite laid back NOT taking the proactive role in informing the guests on Berlin's diverse sightseeing opportunties!
Close to Kurfurstendamm. Big lovely rooms with very high ceiling. Breakfast was
No baggage storage room
The position and surrounding was very nice. Good price of the room.
The breakfast was not on high level.
prezzo e camere belle e pulite
personale poco socievole ma rispettoso e serio
Room was big and cheap! The hotel was next to the metro!
Toilet was old and dirty! The room a bit scary because Snow White !
no wi-fi in rooms, pillows
Good position, very close to the Konstanzerstraße U-Bahn station, in a quiet residential area – even though the street of the hotel is poorly illuminated, you feel safe walking there. Breakfast was decent and included a wide choice of both savoury and sweet options, but the quality of fresh fruit and fruit salads was not satisfactory.
Reception staff was very rude and unhelpful: according to them, all rooms should be non-smoking but in ours (on the ground floor, a few steps from the kitchen and the reception area – an awful position because of the irritating noise we were exposed to, especially late at night and early in the morning) there was a lingering smoke odour and even an ashtray! We immediately told the receptionist about this problem and asked if we could have an actual non-smoking room (for those of you fellow travellers who don’t speak German, please bear in mind that the lady in question did not speak a word of English) but she did not take our disappointment seriously: she was obviously annoyed and answered with lame excuses showing that she did not believe us and even suggesting that that smell came from the street. That was a nice try, but given other comments that have been posted here, it seems that we are not the only ones who complained about the smoke. The cleaning of the room was acceptable, but the chairs and table in the tiny private courtyard were dirty with bird droppings when we arrived and so they were when we left. Please note that the bathroom is very small and its washbasin is so tiny that washing your face or your teeth is very uncomfortable. Finally, the outdoor steps leading to the hotel are covered with an unsteady carpet where you can easily stumble and fall.
Pleasant location with free parking in the weekend
My room was really nice - small, but nice and clean, I could tell it has been recently renowated. The bathroom was small, but it there was enough place for me. The hotel is in a great location, a couple of minutes from the centre by underground train. Breakfast - tasty and fresh. If I was to have the same room next time, I would take it. The relation price-quality is fine.
I had a problem with sleeping, because I could hear people walking on the corridor and talking in the next room during the night. Wi-fi was available in my room, but I could use it on my laptop only, as my phone did not catch the signal.
Looks like a cheep hostel.
No! Nothing I like
Wifi can not be used at all!!! The room is very simple and old!!! I don't like it! Besides, very far away from center and inconvenient
The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was delicious.
Our tub leaked and we were constantly in a puddle after we showered.
Whilst this hotel appears a little distance from the centre of Berlin, please don't worry it is right on the doorstep of the subway and as a traverller that has covered much of the world public transport does not get better than Berlin, both in terms of availability and cost. This hotel has friendly staff and is easy to locate at a very competitive price. The breakfast is excellent and one is very close to shops cafe's and restaurants. That is why I have been there twice.
I think it may need some modern-isation in terms of decoration but the practicalities like hot water, electric power points are all there and working.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great rooms in the old beautiful building (with cool high ceilings) – located close to U-Bahn so getting to the centre of the city is a matter of 20-30 mins. And the price, of course (and that's with breakfast included).
We booked a double room in January - when we arrived the room we were offered was a single room with an extra bed in an adjoining room. When we said it was not acceptable all they would offer us was a poor quality room right by the entrance which appeared to be an emergency occupancy room only. We found the stay very poor and not at all satisfactory. We did not have value for money and were overcharged for what we did get. Having booked in January we expected the hotel to have found a room by June. We would like to hear your response to our comments.
Good location, breakfast items fresh and plentiful.
Extremely small room, tiny bed, tiny shower, poor sound proofing
Location, cleanliness and price
Breakfast was exellent!!!
The TV channels were in german language only, No channels in english (even new channels) and cigarettes smell on the hotel corridor
Location is central but quite. Good staff.
Building is very old.
Its was close to u station. Shopping centre bus station. Food centre as well
The hotel should provide a fridge which is in running order.also there should be facility for vi-fi in all the rooms as majority now use mobile phones to stay in contact. In warm season you should provide fans .otherwise ok
Very nice and helpful staff at the reception, spacious rooms with the nice old fashioned interior, good breakfast, always available parking places, beautiful and quite area. We will definitely stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended.
No wi-fi in the room
The reception staff were very helpful all the time. Very quiet and nice area, less than 5min from the Metro Station. Easy to come to the airport by public transport. Good breakfast, very clean rooms.
