parking spaces in the garage were very narrow. The neighbor car had parked so close to us so the driver had to enter the car from the passanger door....

location lets it down just a little bit. its in a bit of an odd location. we also stayed at the ibis nurnberg hauptbahnof and that was better located for christmas markets etc.

The hotel was recently renovated. The room and the beds are comfortable.

The shower is weird because it is a glass box. Not recommended for people who are not intimate. Maybe they have rooms with a different shower, so it may be useful to ask in advance. Moreover, they charge for wi-fi and the breakfast is probably not worthy what you have to pay.

The Staff was pretty nice and the hotel decor is quite new

It is not as close to the old part as I thought it would be (specially during a cold winter). Next time I will try to stay at the meridian, because they have a much better location. They only had two pillows inside the room (for a couple it is not much) and didn`t put any amenity kit in the bathroom, just the soap bars and thats was because i had booked a superior room. As I was going on my way out, I actually found inside the room service cart a lot of hotel things for a amenity kit, which made me wonder whether they had really prepared my room for my stay.

Nothing special

Air-conditioning, good restaurants, good connections to downtown by Strassenbahn. Some of the staff were very helpful, others not.

I have never given a bad review before, but this was the noisiest and most inconsiderate hotel I have ever stayed at. The party noise-level from loud-speakers 3 floors below coming up through the ventilation system was so loud up to the 4th floor (even with the windows closed) that it kept guests awake until 2 am. The staff need to test their sound equipment to see if it is disturbing people on the upper floors who paid for a quiet night's sleep. They need to make some effort to protect the rights of travelers who are not party guests, who are in Nuerenberg on business, and who have to get up early.

The room was really clean. It was near a lake and near the main train station.

The shower and toilet share the same (transparent) door. The room didn't match my expectations as it was advertised as a superior room but in fact there was nothing superior about it.

I was very impressed by how clean, friendly, expensive looking and gorgeous the hotel was. It exceeded my expectations. The hotel was so close to the public transportation which saved us a lot of money. I loved the fantastic hotel and will go back.

There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel. Everything exceeded my expectation.

The receptionists were great and because I was there during the Easter break, they seemed to be running the place - efficiently I might add. They were friendly, helpful and truly multi-lingual. I saw no-one who looked vaguely like a manager. Across the road is a bike-hire station. You pay using a credit card and there are various drop off points around the city. The hire system used seems to be me to be wide open to being used for next to nothing. Unlike the London ones, these ones just have a combination lock. Surely you could return it after an hour, sign it back in, then just take the bike again because the combination lock number doesn't change. The room was large and reasonably quiet. Windows are not double glazed so there is 'some' street noise but I got a good night's sleep. The beds are comfortable - the shower was great.

I didn't like the restaurant. Breakfast there was great, but I decided to have dinner in the restaurant which is something I hardly ever do. As everything was closed for Easter I broke my own rule. Things I didn't like: I was virtually invisible to the sole waiter- who was polite when he did come to me but not overly attentive. The soup had rock salt at the bottom that was gritty. I actually thought it was little pieces of grit at first. The overly priced curried prawns would have an Indian looking bemused. Curry? Ha Ha. I got 3 prawns which for 12 euro is ridiculous. A note for booking.com Enlighten us all - how do you say what you don't like without complaining?? I enjoyed this hotel - I didn't enjoy the restaurant meal.

In den Gängen ist der künstliche Pfirsichgeruch eher mit einer schlecht aromatisierten öffentlichen Toilette zu vergleichen als mit einem modernen und sauberen Hotel. Das fand ich übrigens wirklich sehr schlimm.
