Well located at edge of old town, lots of space, good kitchen facilities, handy to street cars, warm in midwinter. Booking is by bank transfer which can incur extra fees from overseas.Staff were very accommodating organizing this, but the banks made about 30 euros out of it.

Location, spaciousness Apartment needs to have garbage bags for guest use. It is inconvenient and expensive to get to the hotel to pick up key and then drive back through town to the apartment. Perhaps you could give the mailbox/keystorage code to the new tenant once they have arrived in Freiburg and telephone you from the trainstation or airport. Lastly, you would attract more foreigners (if you wanted) by making internet access available on a pay basis, with wifi access dependent on an account + password code, as is done in manyhotels.

The apartment was quiet and had all the necessary amenities. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was close to dining and shopping. The kitchen was not clean. The refrigerator, stove, oven, cabinets and drawers had not been wiped off/down. The sponge that was left to clean dishes was wet and had bits of food all over it. One of the extra pillowcases had blood stains on it, although, it did appear to have been washed.
