This traditional hotel is located in the heart of the Bavarian town of Erding. The Hotel zum Erdinger Weissbräu boasts a fine history going back to 1537 and retains its characteristic Gothic style. Add a touch of flair to all your family celebrations, and hold them in the banquet hall with its 2 chandeliers, carved wooden paneling and large windows, or in the other 3 functions rooms. Beautiful hotel, interesting room layout. The restaurant and (of course) the beer were great. Parking was underground, secure, and reasonably priced.

Very lovely hotel. Beautifully presented, staff were all very helpful. Only problem we had in terms of speaking English was for the special Christmas menu as they didn't have a translated copy but our waitress (who didn't speak much english herself) was very helpful and was pointing out on the regular menu what the meals were. Room was nice and clean, big shower, good bathroom lighting, rooms were nice and warm. Hotel safety is good..can't get up the elevator or into the stairs with your keycard. Staff are always dressed in tradition clothing which was a nice experience for us. Train station is just a short 5-min walk away, very easy to get into the city (about 45-mins) on train. Hotel was just a short distance to airport. Food at restaurant and breakfast was all great. Is a lovely little hotel is you want to visit Munich but still be out a bit in a cute little town. No wifi, they have internet but you have to use a cord to plug into the wall. Don't mind paying for internet but each one only last 100mb before you have to go downstairs and get a new access code (2euro each time). Otherwise nothing to complain about!

A charming, clean and comfortable hotel in a lovely location. Good food and beer. Breakfast Buffet was a little too much. "English breakfast" and big cakes should have been "extras" instead of included, so the price could have been lower.

Great staff and location nice restaraunt with a outdoor area opersite the square wonderful in the early evening. They need to update - No Wifi (only cable connection) so ipads didn't work and, forwhat ever reson, the telphone couldn't call out.

Excellent stay,,sound proof rooms. Hotel food very good. Approx 1 1/2 k from the train station,,4.5 E via taxi. Hotel staff very friendly and always helpful. Approx 45 minutes from downtown Munich.

We were satisfied with everything. The front desk staff were helpful beyond our expectations. Everyone on the staff including the housekeepers were very friendly. The meals were all delicious and the menu was extensive. We travel frequently and generally stay in large 5 star hotels. The Hotel Erdinger Weissbrau was more pleasant than most and provided all facilities we needed including internet at a very reasonable rate. We will definitely return for another stay.

The rooms are large and immaculate, there was a small complimentary bottle of white wine, the bathroom was spacious, the restaurant was very good and offered a more diverse range of local foods than usual, plus excellent beers. We had to leave before breakfast was served so cannot comment on that. I would like to have stayed two nights and check out the town - it looks very interesting and charming. The staff were pleasant and spoke English well, but did not go that little extra for a four star hotel - it felt as if there was no one in overall charge. Management needs to be more obvious and hands on. Otherwise the hotel is to be highly recommended.

Standard double room was huge and quality of the decor and finishings throughout were significantly better than almost all 5 star hotels I have stayed in. All rooms and public areas exceptionally well maintained. Ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and well priced and the beer was obviously fantastic! Located very centrally but driving there and parking was easy.

Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. The quietness of the room. The cleanliness of the hotel. I did not like twin beds. We always sleep together. There were two of us in the room but only one chair. There was no lighting near the bed so impossible to read in bed. There were only five hangers in the closet. The room was too hot at night.
