Same things all other guests are saying here: parking, good quality wifi internet and great breakfast are included in the room price, which saves at least 30 euro/day as compare to most hotels located in Freiburg. Clean and quiet room, beautiful landscape and less than 10 minutes driving to Freiburg downtown. |

the quaintess of the hotel and the breakfast was wonderful. it was very quiet and peaceful there and they accomondated us arriving late. it was a bit far from the city center so we had to drive every day into the city. |

We were treated with utmost kindness and enjoyed eating in the restaurant. The restaurant is known in the area for good cuisine, and many people came from round the area to eat there. The guesthouse and restaurant are a family business which is run with care and pride. They are situated in a rural, village setting just outside Freiburg. I felt privileged to be part of this community even if it was only for one short week. I was lucky enough to have an enormous room with a balcony and a sitting area. The rooms were very quiet although there were other guests in the hotel. The city bus service into Freiburg is reliable and even has two buses each hour on Sundays. We never had problems finding space to park the car. The traditional German breakfast which was served every morning was copious, fresh and nicely presented. Herr Hug takes care to personally greet his guests and make sure that they are happy with their rooms and meals. He also speaks good English. I would happily go back to this hotel. |

Very nice guesthouse, big rooms, huge and home-made breakfast. The staff was very friendly. I liked it very much. A little far away to the city centre. You need 2 buses or car. |

Sauber, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, neue Matratzen, Außenjalousien, sehr ruhig, gute Ausschilderung im Ort, freundliches Personal "Hotel" ist auch laut Eigenwerbung ein Gästehaus, dunkel, kaltes Zimmer, für die Lage (7km außerhalb von Freiburg) und den Komfort zu teuer, Außenfassade wirkt nicht einladend |

Excellent accueil,et certaines personnes de l'hotel maitrisent le francais, (trés utile pour le choix du menu).Grande chambre au calme, sur les hauteurs de friebourg.Bon resto trés "typique", avec produits copieux et frais! Le petit déjeuner est tout a fait correct, et facilité de parking. |

Personale molto gentile e disponibile, sinonimo di accoglienza. Mi è spiaciuta un'unica cosa: la carenza di materiale informativo (brochure, etc) su Friburgo e dintorni, cosa che costringe l'utente a provvedere da se'. |

nette Mitarbeiter, freundliche Atmosphäre und gutes Essen im Restaurant Das Gästehaus ist in einem 70 er Jahre Stil (viel Beton, dunkel, nichts Altes, kein Holz, keine Wärme). Das Haupthaus (andere Strassenseite ist ebenfalls vo aussen nicht schön restauriert, innen wird im Restaurant eine angenehme Atmosphäre erzeugt, diese gehört jedoch nicht zum Gästehaus) |

Situé dans la périphérie de Fribourg, l'hôtel et le restaurant furent une excellente surprise dès l'accueil. La chambre bien équipée, était spacieuse avec accès gratuit à internet. Le restaurant offre une cuisine locale de très bonne qualité et une bonne sélection de vins régionaux. En absolu cet endroit est à recommander, même si vous devez vous rendre dans la région pour les affaires. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Un détail: n'accepte pas la carte American Express. |

Het goede eten en de rust, maar toch dichtbij een grote stad. Het hotel heeft twee Ruhetagen, maandag en dinsdag, dan kan er in het restaurant niet gegeten worden. Er is wel ontbijt voor de hotelgasten. |
