Hotel zum Kreuz  

There was an incredible open and hospitable athmosphere. When we checked in the chef personally came out of the kitchen to see to our needs and a nice meal was provided for us at our room. Even though we checked in lin very late in the evening (2045) the staff were quick and very friendly in providing our rooms. The whole experience was one of comfort and the feeling of home. Thanks!

The only that bothered me is that we had so little time in the hotel and had to leave early.

The staff is very friendly and happy to help; their restaurant is quite good; it's in a lovely town at the edge of the Black Forest.

The mattress was a bit old and soft.

Beautiful setting, in a small settlement close to Freiburg makes it an excellent location. It is an authentic German hotel, with a very comfortable feel. Large rooms in separate building next to Hotel/Restaurant itself. Restaurant is excellent - frequented by locals, so best book a table. Good food, good atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, quiet and surrounded by an impressive nature. Good public transportation connection, buses each 30 mins. Helpful staff. Excellent food in the restaurant.

Language was a barrier sometimes, but with interests for both parts it is possible to communicate. Finally I always manage to do it, sometimes with help form other guests.

Very quiet location at the end of the village. Had an excellent evening meal in the Gasthaus.

We arrived mid evening and checked in through the restaurant across the street.An english-speaking waitress showed us to a very spacious room with a kitchenette and balcony.Clean but very dated decor. Quiet location on the outskirts of Freiburg.

Our room needed renovation.The restaurant across the street had good food but but had no English menus and our pleasant waitress couldn't help us at all.

Sehr nettes Personal, es wird einem selbst der Bus-Plan erklärt. Toll ist auch das es Kuchen und Obst frei gibt. Außerdem hatten wir ne Flasche Mineralwasser auf unserem Zimmer. Vorbildlicher Service Tolles Frühstück.

Die Lage ist ruhig , die Zimmer groß und gemütlich. Am besten ist das Essen, echte badische Küche und das direkt im Haus.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, gut mit ÖV erreichbar, schöner Frühstücksraum inkl Frühtücksbuffet, aufmerksamer Service Preis - Leistung stimmt.

Der Weihnachtsmarkt in Freiburg war der Grund der Anreise. Durch spaete Reservation gab es nur limitierte Moeglichkeiten einer Unterkunft. Fuer unseren Zweck, also praktisch fuer eine Uebernachtung, war das Hotel in Ordnung. Das Restaurant gegenueber war jedoch ausgezeichnet.
