Location was good. Lovely breakfast and table set with your room number was a nice touch.

Check-in was impersonal and disorganized. I believed I'd booked a double and single room, but it turned out to be two doubles. I did not think that the room/service merited the cost of 90euros! The walls are thin so you are awake in the morning very early.

Close to the Contance's Lake front. Right in the town center. Breakfast is nice. We parked our car in a public parking near the ferry terminal free of charge.

Service at TOP world class level combined with atmosphere of quiet and calm small hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent example of the finest hospitality.

The hotel was great, very neat and clean, with very good restaurant at the ground floor. Staff were all very friendly. Owner was the most hospitable person we have met so far. We were given better room with no extra charge, simply cause nobody rented it. Also, when leaving before 7am on Sunday, the owner woke up early to make us a coffee, hand in a breakfast-packages and say goodbye! Definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Meersburg or vicinity.

Garbage was collected in street outside our bedroom from 6 am for an hour. This should be taken into account when booking unless you are an early riser when on vacation.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Bodensee and the docks are right across the street!

The room was ok but it was expensive, keeping in mind that the price was for shared bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were good but they were downstairs and it wasn't very comfortable to walk around in a towel. The whole resort is very expensive and maybe the prices corespond to the standards there... Nobody in this hotel (and in this town) speaks English, if you don't speak German you can't even order food for the menus are only in German.

We booked this hotel just before we left for a three week tour of France and Germany. I had read some reviews on other sites which were not fantastic but we can honestly say we thought this hotel was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and helpful - carrying my bags up the stairs. The location was excellent and the breakfast spread unbelievable - the best we had out of the7 hotels we stayed at in Germany. We loved Meersburg and would definitely go back.

The room was a little hot, a fan would help.

Good location at Bodensee, just in the city, very close to the castle and the sea, good restaurant, perfect breakfast, clean and good rooms.

In the city is walking area, so you must park your car 300 m far.

Location is good, a few steps from the lake of Konstanz, on the main pedestrian street of Meersburg (which however can be quite noisy until late at night). Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of food choices. Staff is friendly

I got room 12, very small, no bathroom, no sink. I was not aware when I made the booking. The wc was on the same floor, shared with other rooms, the shower was one floor down. Not really comfortable. Besides, the room was jammed with furniture, with two single beds, whereas it should have accommodated only one. It was under the roof, only with a small tilting window. All in all I felt suffocated.

Zum Lieben Augustin is a fine small hotel centrally located in the historic resort town Meersburg. Our budget-priced top floor room was comfortable and clean, and it was no problem that the shower was one floor down as the hotel provided nice yellow bathrobes. Included breakfast in the hotel restaurant was sumptuous, staff gracious and helpful

4 levels and no lift to the rooms, narrow stairs, poor furnitures in the roomand , poor environnement at the back, no view on the bodensee. Poor value for money

Just beside the port of Meersburg,easy to find.Hotel is also a restaurant,so they supply good breakfast,including smoked salmon,many choices in breakfast,every room has a fixed table,you needn't worry no vacant table.The room is clean,fast wifi,friendly staffs.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Hotel isnt really designed for babies but the staff made a huge effort to help with our baby. Rooms are clean, spacious and simply decorated. Glad we stayed here.

Bedding smelled perfumed and brought to itching. Too strong detergent was used.

Hotel is well located on a pedestrian street parallel to the lake shore, where shops and restaurants can be found. My room was on the back side therefore was quiet, but I could imagine rooms on the street side can be more noisy. Hotel is an old house, staff are very friendly although their English is very poor. My room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. There was no mini fridge, and no air conditioning. The view was not great on the backside, but at least it was quiet. Breakfast is excellent with a large variety of food.

Excellent location- right on the main street and beside the promenade. You can get a parking ticket from hotel from for 5 Euros and the car park is only few minutes away. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was huge and just delicious! Would stay again :)

I don't have any complaints, but the decor of room is quite basic so maybe not to everyone's taste? But very clean, well equipped and comfortable so I thought it was lovely overall.
