Hotel Neckartal Heidelberg  

Odd sort of hotel; hardly anyone there till the weekend. Free wi-fi, but only in reception. Didn't eat breakfast there; better value in town.

The staff were very hospitable and kind. Also, the breakfast was very good. The location was very convenient to me because of the hospital. Its just a 2 minute walk.

Friendly, pleasant, helpfull and considertate. Staff were excellent and I would recommend the Hotel to anyone. Its not located centally within in the town but the bus and train location is easy accessible and readily available. Peacefull location with a good location next to the river and forest. Staff and owner were exceptional made you feel extrely wellcome and part of a family. Highly recommended.

It was a little far from the centre of town but transport was good.

The main reason I picked this hotel over others was because it said the room is included the kitchen. Seriouly, I canceled my afternoon trip and came earlier just because we would like to check out the kitchen and see what we can cook for that night. However, there was NO kitchen when we entered our room. I went downstair and talked to the staff, she just simply said all the room with kitchen were booked, nth she can do! The next day when I checked out, the kitchen still on the bill! I talked to the staff again and she said the price of the kitchen room is EUR 20 expensive than the one i rent and this items just normally on the bill. I mean, if you are not gonna give me the room with kitchen, why you have to show it at the first place!!! It totally ruin my day!!!! Never ever come back again!!!

Good location to visit Heidelberg, and much quieter (and cheaper) than staying in the city. Train or bus gets you into Heidelberg in 10 minutes. Great hospitality.

Hotel is part of sports and fitness centre, no views to talk of.

Our beds were very comfortable. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The view was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Decent breakfast.

This place is more like a Hostel than a hotel. 1. Room was advertised as having a balcony. There was no balcony. 2. WiFi does not work. 3. TV in the room did not work. We to the front desk and the clerk handed me batteries for the remote and stated she did not know anything about electronics. After installing new batteries, TV still did not work. 4. Refrigerator smelled of pickles.

Very quite at night. Free parking. Nice facility for workout.

A little bit of far from downtown area if taking pulica transportation.

Only a short trip into the town by bus!

Big rooms, big bathroom. Clean. 10 min walk to the bus 35 which took us to Alstadt. Staff was very, very nice.

Breakfast a little expensive, not included. Too far from anything else to not accept

After a difficult journey, we arrived after 10pm which is the latest check- in time. I had called ahead when this looked possible and they had left details of how to get into our rooms - a simple solution. Thank you! Also, when booking we changed the party size twice which they dealt with in a helpful way. The rooms were clean & spacious, the beds comfortable. The hotel was quiet. Generally a simple and pleasant environment.

Nothing really. We arrived late and had to leave early as this was an overnight break on our journey, so didn't experience much beyond a good night's sleep and a shower in the morning. Just be aware that it isn't a 24 hour reception. We also left before breakfast which doesn't start until 8.00 on Sundays, but that isn't unusual.

Great service and beautiful environment for a reasonable price

Situated close to a station and took only 5 mins to Heidelberg old town station. Hotel is above a fitness centre but parking is ok and there are spaces in the evening. No noise from gym. You can also get an evening meal at a reasonable price in the restaurant . Room was large with a balcony and walk in shower! TV also very good quality.

It was in a quiet area right outside the main city of Heidelberg a quick 10 min bus ride and your there. They had a great restaurant, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was really good, and our room had a great view and was very clean. The price was great as well.

I have no complaints. Enjoyed every minute there.
