This friendly, 3-star hotel is in the quiet Briesnitz residential suburb just to the west of Dresden, just a short drive from the center of Dresden and highway A4. The Hotel am Nussbaum is just a 10-minute drive from Dresden’s exhibition center, and a 20-minute drive from all main world-heritage attractions in the center of the city, such as the Semper Opera, Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), Royal Palace or the Zwinger Palace. Be sure to try one of the many delicious Saxon specialties offered in the hotel restaurant. The hotel is located very close to the Elbe River Biking Path (Elbradweg). You can rent a bike from the hotel, and explore the beautiful Lößnitz countryside on 2 wheels. The hotel also sets aside an area where you can safely store your bicycles. Many of the rooms offer a beautiful view, either of the Lößnitz mountains, or the unique cityscape of Dresden. Hotel Rooms: 13

Friendly staff. ran the place as a family business. Provided good dinner and breqakfast. It was hidden away in the suburbs but was popular with the German traveller.

reichhaltiges, schmackhaftes Frühstück. Familienbetrieb.Nette Hoteleigner. Abends im Restaurant preiswerte Gerichte. Mit dem Auto ca. 20 Min. bis zur Altstadt. sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel. Wir würden immer wieder dort absteigen.

Die Zimmer sind klein, aber zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. Ansonsten, auch in Bezug auf Preis/Leistung, eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super! Die Bedienung erstklassig. Schnell wurden leere Teller nachgefüllt und es gab sehr leckeres Rührei! üBrigens aus richtigen Eiern und nicht aus dem sonst üblichen Vollei-Gemantsche! Die Lage ist etwas abseits des Zentrums in einem Wohnviertel und daher sehr ruhig. Mit dem Auto ist man in gut 10min. Im Zentrum. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden das Hotel bei unserem nächsten Dresdenbesuch wieder buchen. Zwei kleine Mankos waren recht harte Handtücher und schlecht abfließendes Wasser in der Dusche. Aber das ist Kritik auf hohem Niveau!

Schönes, sauberes und zweckmäßiges Zimmer, gebucht für nur eine übernachtung. Sehr gutes und schmackhaftes Frühstück. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ruhige, schöne Lage, aber für Stadtausflüge ist unbedingt pkw notwendig.

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay. The apartment room for our family was perfect as it consisted of 2 separate sleeping rooms. We used the hotel as a stopover on our trip across Europe and its closeness to the motorway was helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and great value for money as it was included in the room rate! Would certainly stay here again.

die ruhige Lage, das gute Frühstück, das nette Personal ( die Reihenfolge der Aufzählung ist ohne Bedeutung ) für Fahrradfahrer könnte man den Hinweis geben, dass der Einstieg zum Elberadweg ca. 1,5 km weit weg ist und dass das Hotel von der Elbe kurzzeitig bergauf zu erreichen ist, für gute Radfahrer aber kein Problem
