This property was located just steps away from the main walking street in Heidelberg. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were small, but had everything we needed. One room, in back, was quiet, while the room in front was quite noisy due to late night revelers. We got parking, which was very close by. Definitely a plus as it would have been nearly impossible to find street parking that close. Breakfast was good and generous.
Not easy to get to by car, but once there, perfect location for walking.
Excellent service in a great location. Very happy with the hotel.
Great location right on the pedestrianised part of the Altstadt. Family apartment was great with kids, two single rooms and a double all with washbasin and TV and a large separate bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. 2 minutes walk to the castle funicular.
Quite expensive compared with other stays this holiday.
very small bathroom
breakfast was very good. excellent room and very clean.
no kettle in room
Except noisy, otherwise perfect.
Next door is a night pub, so I ca not sleep until 5:00.
If you like the noisy place you are in the right place ! If your room is street side, you just above a night bar ( very noisy until all night long ). They know perfectly this situation but they won t say a word about it when you will check in your room... Just a shame, you must run away.. it will be easy to find a better place
I loved the location and it is so central. Lovely breakfast, and nice staff
Maybe the parking is a little issue but we were lucky we got a car-park in the court yard. Not so good with a bigger car as narrow streets.
We liked the central location, the room, and the breakfast.
Although the general location was fine, the places around it were the main issue with all the noise until the very early morning hours. Also the garage parking was somewhat inconvenient and a hassle to find.
Decent breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. Parking is secure. Spacious rooms (the kids each had their own room). Convenient walk to everywhere.
A bit pricey. Layout is a little funky, so you sometimes have a situation where laundry has to share space/hallway with the breakfast staff.
Good location, close to everything.
the central location
the rooms are not very spacious
Exteremely helpful and kind staff.
Noisy neighbourhood. The hotel is located in narrow Old Town street and every drunk passing by and singing loudly at night could make you angry (in such a heat it was not possible to sleep with closed windows)..
Excellent location in the heart of the old town and very close to a range of restaurants and shops. Staff. were welcoming and helpful. Typical breakfast buffet was well stocked
Hotel car park only held 4 cars, but nearby car park (No. 12) had a discount for guests.
The young student that checked us in was great. He was helpful in every way.
The staff other than the young student who checked us in was totally indifferent.
Fabulous location with amazing breakfast! Staff were incredibly happy and accomadating
Located in a quiet street of the Old Town, with limited but very secure car parking, made this an excellent location from which to walk around Heidelberg. Friendly and helpful staff made every effort to help. Book car parking in advance at a charge of 9 euros per night - good value.
This is not a Hotel with many facilities but it is a comfortable Guest House.
the location was great!
Location and friendly staff
There was no wifi in the room.
The location in "the old town". We found it excellent as it was convenient to visiting the castle, the shopping strip and restaurants etc. And we loved Kathie Wolfaght christmas shopping.
We would have liked darker curtaining, as coming from southern hemisphere we like to sleep in a darkened room.
This hotel locats 1 min from the central but has private parking lot.
we would like to have more variety of choice in breakfast, such as scrambled egg.
Parking is problematic
so convenient to all the amenities and sights
The room was extremely small and no shelf space or area for luggage. Very noisy street. No air con. and no extractor fan in bathroom.
Super location near the old town which has plentiful restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful at answering questions, allowing us to leave luggage stored after we had checked out and giving advice about buses. Breakfast was good; buffet style with fresh rolls, eggs, cheese, ham, fruit and wonderful cherry jam and plenty of tea or coffee. Our double room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable, though the shower room was very small.
Rather noisy with revellers in the street as we had to open the windows as it was so hot. At 92 euros for the room, wifi should have been free. Free wifi has been available in all the other places we stayed in over our 3 weeks of travelling round Europe's hostels and small hotels.
