Pleasant location in the old town, plenty of restaurants and shops round the corner. Easily reached from railway by local bus. Very friendly owners, good breakfast, excellent shower.
Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, central location... very adequate breakfast.... great value!!
The very center of the old town and shopping street.
Hard to get to one way streets and pedestrian only streets
Excellent breakfast for the price & right in the centre of the old town
Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff who made us feel at home
Location, nice breakfast, staff very friendly, parking space (costs extra), confortable room.
Wi-fi you have to pay extra
location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, plenty of room.
wifi didn't work in our room, but that's ok - we weren't charged for it.
The accomodation was basic but comfortable seeing as we spent most of the days out sightseeings, eating, shopping, etc. It is very convenient to access the old city and main street. Staff were very friendly too. Nice breakfast which sets you up for the day.
Location great in the old city; room comfortable and clean; staff very helpful; breakfast good.
no wifi included
Loved location for walking to popular sites
Location was great on a side street close to the main street, staff was fine, breakfast was fresh. Price was very good. I would stay there again if I could be guaranteed a room on the other side of the hall.
There is a bar on each side of the hotel and in the nice weather the crowds are in the streets. There was loud street noise until 3 am. WiFi was non existent, staff member told us not to bother with it.
location, location, location!!! Able to walk to the castle and to town and the square
Rather unfriendly staff, filthy carpet, stinky bathroom, lousy wifi
Very closed to main shopping street and restaurant. Very closed to Neue university where the conference held. Closed to Beautiful bridge and castle. Enough breakfast.
Rather small room.
The location was good & the breakfast very nice. The room was comfortable.
The hotel was very hard to find at night. There was a great deal of noise every night from 1 to 3 am which kept us awake
Location Good breakfast
Location very good. Close to old city square, castle, many restaurants, shops etc
Parking too far for oldies.
Just 2 blocks from Market, 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge and 2 minute drive to Heidelberg Castle.
Staff was indifferent and not very friendly. We paid for Wifi but our room didn't have enough signal strength . We could, however, walk down the hall and get internet there.
The location is excellent. Really nice hotel. Value for money. Better then expected
Great location in the middle of the old city. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, standard German fare of cold meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, cereal and bread.
That I couldn't pre-book internet if I was checking in after hours. Surely they could just leave the password with my keys at pick-up and add it to the bill. It was a warm Tuesday night and I would have preferred to have the windows open but it was too loud outside on the street for that. Hairdryer one of those awful hotel barely-warm ones, mattress not very good
Hotel is in the heart of the old city and everything is within walking distance
There must be a disco somewhere close as it was very noisy till early hours of the morning
Hotel was on a side street, but everything was in very close walking distance. The kids never whined about having to walk far! Staff helpful and friendly.
Nothing we found to be a problem, or had a wish for.
Central location. Attractive price.
Hotel was within walking distance of main attractions. There was an elevator.
The floor needed to be swept in our room and we had to open our luggage on the floor because of lack of space. Only one chair in room.
Add ons-prking, wi-fi. My wife tripped and took a nasty fall, on raised floor, while exiting 2nd floor elevator and got pretty bruised up. Hotel had no first aid supplies, Ice packs etc. I had to go to a bar to get an ice pack. No concern about her condition. Just ignored it. No attendant after 10:00 P:M. Cold breakfast, not much choice.
