I liked it all very much. I was disappointed when they called me one month prior to tell me they would have to cancel my restaurant reservation becuase they had a party of over 250 for a function and could not fit me in, but they found me an alternative restaurant which was lovely and put us in a wonderful room!!! No nothing it was all wonderful. |

Very nice hotel in a beautiful town. Great location at the start of the pedestrian street. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a let down, especially at the price of Euro 12 per person |

Location is right in the middle of the main square of the Heidelberg old town. The building is one of the town's landmarks. Staff is very helpful. No vale service, no one to pick up our bags from the car and carry them to the room. The hotel is a bit pricey for its general setting and condition (facilities, furniture...). |

Historic building, helpful staff, location in heart of the Old City of Heidelberg. No parking available on site. Gargage is five min. walk away, but price was very reasonable. |

The location is fantastic, and the history of the hotel is pretty neat. Rooms are good to very good, and much bigger than you might expect in Germany. Hotel does not have a bar. |

Location of the hotel is perfect for seeing/visiting old Heidelberg. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel posesses considerable charm. The mattresses in our room were not of the best quality. Lacked firmness. |

It was a joy to stay at this hotel. Centrally located, this was the perfect place for exploring historic Heidelberg. The staff was personable and professional. Although are room was small and stuffy (a fan was in the room, which was nice), we weren't there for the enjoyment of a hotel room but for the enjoyment of everything else. It was 2.5 Km from the Deutsche Bahn station. |

the location being right in the heart of the activity of the city and we were able to walk to everything. the staff was most helpful with our needs and that was greatly appreciated. it was extremely noisy at night due to a pub down the lane. not a lot of privacy with the windows facing another buildings windows so closely, |

The rocation is good. The hotel is near many sightseeing spots. The room was wide. The staff was very kind and helpful. They informed us of the traffic restriction at the city on the day of the stay in advance. They spoke to us to gave us the city map when we went out without asking them. This was our first time experience in Germany. |

The location was terrific; right in the middle of the major tourist atttractions. There was a lot of street noise, both late night revelers and early morning street repair crews. |

The location was perfect, in the heart of things, 5 minute walk to the castle. We had a beautiful room with several windows and a huge bathroom. The hotel has historic value and the interior design and visual esthetics were appreciated. We were late coming in for dinner and they allowed us a table and served us with no complaints even tho they were clearly ready to close. Room overlooked the plaza which was nice but on Saturday night you had to listen to people whooping it up until 4am. This would not deter me from staying there again however. |

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The Ritter is an awesome hotel. The room was quite a bit larger than we expected. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was awesome. I had jet lag that left me dizzy and unable to get out of bed for a few hours. The hotel staff told my husband we could take our time checking out of the room, which was very comforting. The hotel is right downtown at the foot of the castle. The only drawback could be the ringing of the church bells. The church is right across the street. They didn't keep us awake, but it might be an annoyance to some. |

Hotel was located directly on the Hauptstrasse. The staff was very friendly. The room was located next to a noisy side street. Breakfast was expensive. No parking discount from the hotel. The hotel validated the ticket but the parking cost mirrored the parking garage daily rate (10 Euros). |
