Hotel zur Mühle  

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Zur Muhle. The hotel & facilities are of a high quality & typically clean. The spa facilities are great with a free sauna & pay steam room (not used). The spa/pool isn't really large enough for swimming but ideal for relaxing with an assortment of jacuzzi-like water jets. The restaurant food is typically Bavarian, maybe a little pricey but highly recommended. Breakfast was also very good! The beer garden appears to be the focal point of the town and always popular. Withing easy reach of the rail station for trains & local buses & hotel staff were very helpful with local sightseeing & public transport information. Would highly recommend visiting the Englischer Garten weather permitting.

Reception staff were very professional but could be a little more welcoming.

Nothing really

The breakfast was nice.

The receptionists were not warm as they were supposed to be! Also the room was cold. When I asked the receptionist about it, I was told that the hotel was heated centrally that's why there was no heating unit in the rooms. The hallway was warmer than our room!.. Besides for the extra child bed I was charged 16 Euros though it was mentioned only 10 Euros at Booking.Com.

Excellent location if you are in a car. Close to the Autobahn to explore the surrounding area and also a short walk to the S Bahn for direct train into the city centre. The hotel is very clean and well run by friendly staff. A nice bar/lounge area and a relaxing swimming pool/sauna area. The Gasthof provided nice food but plenty of restuarant options within walking distance

Would have been better with coffee making facilities in the room

It was clean,comfortable and the staff were helpful and cheerful. The food was plentiful, varied and well presented.

Very nice and well located near the S-Bahn

Room 224 the ceiling is sloped as the shape of the roof and is very low if you are tall. I hit my head and cut it in a number of places. the evidence is my blood on the ceiling.

Friendly, good beer garden, ease of booking and check out. Perhaps an english TV news channel would be good.

Its a nice place to get a Bavarian feel - the whole setting is excellent. Its very close to Munich but away from the hustles of the city. The restaurant is superb and gives a good German suburb feeling.

This is a very well maintained hotel built in the old Bavarian tradition. Bathrooms are nicely modernized. The staff and service are first rate. We have stayed in this hotel for over 40 years and will return every time we can. -The beer garden is great as is the restaurant.

No English speaking channel was available on the cable TV.

Staff especially helpful with directions and help with internet problems I was having with smart phone. I am a grandmother and a reno stupid head. They didn'tmake me feel stupid.

The location was excellent as it was 5 minutes walk to the S-Bahn train station and that train line took you into the centre of Munich one way and the airport in the other direction. Hotel had a lovely pool - the girls really enjoyed that. It also had its own restaurant/beer garden. Really nice hotel - would most definitely stay again if we went back to Munich

Pillows were just too soft!

If you need to visit Ismaning for business, that's a good choice. Close to all offices. A biergarten at the hotel as an advantage.

The breakfast is quite poor - no hot meals. Situated near the bell tower - so you will hear the bell ringing every hour.

- No AC in the room. Can be quite difficult during peak summer - Heard loud music and voices in the corridor at 12:30 in the night (although such behaviour depends on the guests and not the hotel itself, would have expected someone from the reception to interfere and request them to quiet down)

Wenn auch nicht günstig so ist dieses Hotel zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, Frühstück in Ordnung und die Bar bietet ein gemütliches Ambiente.

Es fehlt zum Arrangement Fußball (Allianzarena) noch die Möglichkeit der Eintrittskarte zu einem Spiel! Ist aber keinesfalls eine negative Kritik sondern als Anregung zu verstehen!

Schönes traditionelles Hotel Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal Wunderbares Frühstück Sauberes Zimmer

Anstatt einer Badewanne wäre mir eine Dusche lieber gewesen, etwas umständlich in der Badewanne zu duschen

Prima kamer, leuke zwem/sauna faciliteit zeker voor een doorgangsovernachting. Lekker rustig. Fijne familiekamer.

Personeel in het restaurant had het druk en had de hoek waar we zaten niet echt in de route. Bediening duurde dus lang.
