At the heart of the Muensterland the traditional and family-run hotel Zur Post offers a warm, individual and personal atmosphere.

The restaurant has excellent regional rustic cuisine all in a traditional dining room or a bright atrium.

Food & beverage

In the morning there is a varied breakfast buffet in the sun room.

The restaurant offers regional seasonal menus that are created with local products. There are two conference and events rooms that are suitable for all kinds of events or celebrations.

During the summer months guests can use the cozy beer garden with courtyard and fountain. The rustic pub is the heart of the hotel and the ideal place for a chat with friends while having a beer or cocktail.

Room information

The hotel offers comfortable single, double and triple rooms. The choice between smoking or non smoking rooms is possible upon request. The rooms have private bathrooms and are equipped with all common facilities. Most of the rooms have a balcony.

Area information

Wetteringen is located in green surroundings near the border of the Netherlands and Lower Saxony. It is one of the oldest towns in Westphalia and the ideal base for trips in the surrounding area of the beautiful Münsterland.

Interesting destinations are the spa town Bad Bentheim, the pottery museum in Ochtrup, the moated castle in Welbergen, the old quarter of Burgsteinfurt, the animal park in Rheine and the nature resort "Haddorfer Seen". Münster is situated nearby with various attractions.
