Hotel Zur Wartburg  

I have stayed at this hotel before and I was impressed. On my second visit, I was not disappointed. As before, I stayed here as a convenient stopping point on my drive to Berlin as it is situated more or less at the half-way point. It is a short drive off of the autobahn in a quiet location. Check-in is easy and fuss free and the staff are pleasant and accomadating. The rooms are quite large, well appointed, clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms, a large TV and a large comfortable bed. The hotel itself is tastefully and stylishly decorated and has a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. There is a convenient car park attached to the hotel and the hotel has wi-fi which is free to guests. The hotel will even loan an IPad 2 if you require it. The breakfast buffet is extremely pleasant and the dining room surroundings are relaxing and with a nice ambience. In addition, there is a sun terrace on the ist floor which is a great place to relax, work and enjoy a cold beer available from the reception. There is free tea and coffee provided in the reception area. It is probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in in Germany...small family-run and in my opinion, great value for money. I intend to use the hotel in all my future drives to Berlin and recommend it whole-heatedly to any prospective users.

Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful, an excellent place to stay.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this hotel which I chose primarily for it's location as a convenient place to stop on my drive to Berlin. I had been driving from England via the Channel Tunnel since about 1230am and arrived at the hotel at around 9am. This was about 4 hours before the advertised check-in time and I was very tired. I parked my car in the private car park attached and informed the staff fully expecting to have to wait until the check-in time. But within 20 minutes the room was prepared and I checked in! This was a great relief as I needed to lay down! The room was large, quiet,with a huge bed, flat screen TV, MP3 player and a nice bathroom. It was tastefully decorated with a desk and arm chair. The hotel itself I found very stylish and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel also had a very nice 1st floor pation/sun lounge area which I found great for relaxing with a beer as it was very warm weather! The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and very good quality and in very pleasant surroundings. I found myself wishing that I was staying longer! The town itself seemed very pleasant. Unfortunately, I was only able to have a short walk around but saw some very nice architecture and nice shops. The town had a quiet ambience which told me it was probably like a Sunday there every day of the week. Without a doubt, I would use this hotel again when drivivng between the UK and Berlin. Literally a few minutes from the motorway, it turned out to be an excellent choice! I've stayed in some very nice German hotels and this one is up there with the best of them. I recommend this hotel totally.

Excellent small hotel in centre of charming small town. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast choice far better than in a lot of larger hotels. Room large and comfortable with a huge bathroom with exta large bath.

Although relatively small hotel, it was fantastic. The whole hotel was in excellent order and the staff were superb. All in all a wonderful experience and will definitely go again

Very quiet place, friendly and good clean faciltities with good breakfast

This hotel is excellent and the breakfast superb.Can highly recommend it.We stayed only one night but the little town is very beatiful and many restaurants within walking distance.Staff was very friendly and spoke excellent english.Free parking at the rear of hotel was convenient.Free tea and coffee available in reception.The photoes on the website is excactly how the rooms are, very nicely decorated, modern and very clean.No lift in hotel( 3 floors) but that did not pose a problem for us.Top marks .

das sehr schön angerichtete Frühstück. Schmackhaft, reichhaltig und qualitativ hochwertig. Ich konnte auch unter der Woche noch um 10:00 Uhr ruhig und angenehm entspannt Frühstücken. Die Zimmer und Räume sind sehr schön eingerichtet, ideal für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Rheda, ebenso wie die freundliche Art der Mitarbeiter.

Die Ausstattung und die stilsicher moderne Ausstattung der Zimmer und des Frühstückraums haben uns beeidruckt. Der unkomplizierte Umgang ist professionell und schnörkellos. Das frühstück erfüllte unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht. Businesskunden dürften sich hier besonders wohl fühlen.

Hôtel situé dans une belle petite bourgade.

Odeur de cigarette depuis l'entrée de l'hôtel jusque dans les chambres. Restaurant de l'hôtel fermé le soir. Le minibar ne fonctionne pas (dommage pour une suite ...) Lit trop court et matelas inconfortables bien que neufs. Le chauffage coupé automatiquement la nuit ne permet pas d'atteindre une température correcte le matin dans la s-d-B. Double vitrage inefficace pour le bruit. Personnel incapable d'annuler le reste du séjour suite aux problèmes évoqués ci-dessus. Ce problème fut réglé en ligne et efficacement par l'équipe de support Booking.com.

Es war ein wunderschönes Wochenende in einem super schönen Hotel !

Diese Frage kann ich nicht beantworten, es gib nichts Negatives zu sagen

Wie schon oben erklärt, Sauberkeit, Service, Zimmer, und tolles Frühstück. Leider kann man nicht mehr essen als reinpasst :o( Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort wohnen wollen.

Um evtl. etwas zu finden was nicht gefallen würde, müßte man, glaube ich, länger dort Aufenthalt machen. Von unserer Seite aus gibt es nicht zu beanstanden. Für 14 Tage wäre uns das Zimmer zu klein gewesen, aber für eine Nacht allemal ok.

Das sehr schöne Zimmer mit schönem Bad. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, was bei einem solchen Zimmerpreis nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Art der Mitarbeiter.

Uitstekend ontbijt. Gratis Wi-Fi. Zeer behulpzame medewerkers.

Das Frühstückbuffet war am 1. Tag ohne Brötchen und es hat lange gedauert bis wir Kaffee bekommen haben.

Sehr schönes neues Einzelzimmer. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Freundlicher aufmerksamer Service.

Leider waren die Madratzen so weich oder durchgelegen, dass man als Bauchschläfer echt Rückenschmerzen hatte und nicht wirklich schlafen konnte und das ist das wichtigste! =(

A pass do WIFI deveria estar disponível nos quartos.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers, sowie die Sauberkeit. Es war sehr ruhig, trotz der zentralen Lage. das Frühstück war auch sehr gut.
