Booked a single room. Generrally they are small. But this was a decent size. Modern. Good amenities. Even an ipod dock. Friendly staff. A bit expensive but then again so is everything in Copenhagen.
A convenient place to stay with very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Good value for the amount paid. Can definitely recommend this place.
- styled vintage furniture - good sound proof (double doors) - hospitality from the staff
standart room a bit too small
Location and accommodations. Decoration and style was really cool. I used their bikes all day and loved them. Everyone was nice. A great great hotel, highly recommendable.
Nothing really. Just try to have your breakfast included in your final reservation. Or wonder around for a good coffee place with danish pastries!
good central location
bed, small room, staff cold, over-priced, over-rated
i loved the design and the feeling of being in an old hotel
the breakfast had no good coffee included...
Their staff, especially April, were very helpful. All the rooms have a unique design and this is what I had enjoyed most during my stay.
Bathroom was a bit too small and they forgot to clean my room on my last day's stay.
The hotel is very clean, a lot of lovely details, very friendly employees, parking place near by, rental bikes, an is environmental friendly!
That they don't serve Nordic cuisine.
The location is very central with a walking distance from the central station. As it is one of the few hotels committed to representing Danish design, the decoration was really enjoyable! Eden at the hotel's reception desk was very helpful with Copenhagen info and sights, plus very friendly and warm. Very eco-friendly, which is rate and valuable. Our room had a balcony and great view. Rooms have kettles, which is great. Wifi was working properly.
The towels were old and a bit dirty. The bath could have been cleaner.
location near city center
small beds,poorly mainteined interiors
it's very clean, situated near central station. and staffs was nice and kind.
there is wifi but too slow. it is extremly slow as 2G mobile service. i couldn't use wifi. i thought they don't think about internet is important for tourists
Great location, right beside central station, and beside historical citycenter, cosy rooms with a marvelous decoration. They have this concept that if you dont want your room clean they will offer you 100 DKK of credit in the cafeteria per day, its interesting.
The staff was nice, it was good enough. But i would say they could work harder building the relationship with the client by being friendlier in the front desk. Also its sad that such a hotel does not include breakfast in its rate.
This hotel had an excellent location, walking distance to the main train station and it's easy to walk around the city from here. There is a bike rental shop opposite the hotel if you want to cycle your way around.. The concept of this retro furnished hotel is a credit to the Danish Designers! The restaurant LELE downstairs serves delicious vietnamese street food!! :)
Although the rooms have sound proof glass which is great to block out noise, the rooms are very warm and a little stuffy as you can't open the windows.
Lovely room, very comfortable and stylish and friendly staff. Good location for seeing the city. We also got a big discount on a meal there because we opted out of having our room cleaned every day.
The road outside was very noisy which was a problem because the weather was so hot and we needed the windows open to sleep. There was a fan in the room which helped.
Typical for Danemark
The bed was so comfortable, it was amazing. I also loved the furniture, and the little touches such as a voucher if you opt out of room cleaning, the nice toiletries, the hotel dedicated newspaper and the fan.
although the hotel got good reviews, the main problem is that it does not have air conditioning because of the so called "green" agenda. Stay away if you are travelling in the summer!!!
The place was great, but it was unseasonably hot in Copenhagen...there was no air conditioning which would have made it much more comfortable.
Room very warm during summer and moisy as there is restaurant dowmstair The internet sucks and do not work properly
Love the mid-century decor. Close to central train stain and walking distance to shops. Excellent breakfasts and helpful staff. I would definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay.
loved the location and decore
no iron in room
Cramped room and bathroom
The staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the staff of the adjoining Vietnamese restaurant. The hotel is located on the southern edge of the old town, making everything easy to reach on foot.
What the Alexandra failed to advertise before we booked was that it is a green hotel and therefore has no air-conditioning. The few days we were there were exceedingly warm, the room overlooked Copenhagen's main boulevard, so no open windows at night. But the fan provided was good.
Excellent Hotel! Breakfast is perfect! Bed is very comfortable!
