The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was lush! We loved the smart efficiency if the room given limited space options! The decor was right up my alley and was aesthetically pleasing! The breakfast buffet was perfection and the staff at the Andersen were top notch! They thought of little creature comforts that made our stay amazing!
The space was a little right but doable for 2. Also the shower was a little difficult to navigate.
Hotel is near the central station and close to different attractions. Love the decor of the hotel and the staff, mostly, is very friendly. Happy Hour every day (5-6pm).
Side streets of the hotel is very dubious at night. Although a block farther is supposed to gentrified...It's just the street next to the hotel
Friendly and client oriented staff, at least the majority of them.
Noisy rooms. Cleaning staff very noisy early mornings. Small rooms, and bathrooms. No phones in some rooms, so in case of urgency there might ne problems.
The staff, breakfast
Bouncy uncomfortable small mattress, no aircon
Friendly staff and a great central location, would recommend and stay there again ourselves
-Very good location, close to the central station -Staff is very friendly and helpful We arrived on early morning flight and also departed on late night flight, but they accommodated both situation! - Amenity is well above EU economical hotel standards Had separate shampoo, conditioner and body lotion tube big enough for the two of us (which none of the other hotels that we stayed at during our visit to Denmark and Norway had) -Nice Breakfast with variety of tea. -Would stay again if we visit Denmark
- Petite room but very clean - WiFi was not so good - Elevator is very small and slow - Could have done with more towels but all the economical hotels in EU are the same regarding this point so it's not such a disadvantage ...So nothing really that would impact our stay
Close proximity to city center, shopping, activities. Clean, nice, albeit small, rooms. Good breakfast.
Street noise, nearby bars.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern, and the bed was very comfy. The hotel was in a good location for cool restaurants and bars, and had an easy going laid back vibe. We enjoyed the 'free' wine hour!
For some people they might find the area a bit daunting due to the prostitiutes and sex shops - it didnt bother us at all though. It can be noisy at night when you are trying to sleep, so ensure you get a high floor room, or drink more wine!
Hotel was very clean, bright and modern. Great facilities and within very close walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens (although closed when we were there) and the cbd. I loved the bright, colourful decor and had a great night sleep in the dark, quiet room (a rarity on this trip around Europe!). Staff were excellent - particularly Anne Mette - very helpful and friendly! I found bed super comfy (like a cloud!) but too soft for my partner's bad back. Highly recommend this hotel.
Shower ran a little hot and cold - took some adjusting. Wi-fi wasn't very consistent - much better reception downstairs in lobby
The staff's efficiency, helpfulness, and friendliness. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the hotel location was perfect. Very clean. Staff provides perks at each landing on the stairs - bottled water, cookies, and apples.
The standard double room is Very small, but you're never there. Everything else is awesome.
Fantastic location easy walk from central rail station and 15 minutes by train from Copenhagen airport. We were able to walk everywhere for our four day visit. The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. We visited in late September so the weather was mild but as there is no air conditioning you may need at least a fan in Summer as the street below may be noisy if windows were left open.Breakfast was included and very good.
The hotel is one of several good hotels in the area however it is a red light district so there is a bit of activity late at night and a few interesting shops in the streets.I had read this before we booked so was aware. It didn't cause us any problems whatsoever and as the location was so convenient wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would happily return however it's something that concerns you probably better to be informed.
Excellent staff, breakfast and lovely charm.
Splendid location with so many local attractions. Easy, short walk to station.
Thr location was very central, the decor was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I love it when a place over-delivers and this hotel certainly does!
Friendliness and helpfulness of front desk staff, great breakfast, very clean rooms, quiet, just a minute or two's walk from central train station.
Great breakfast and staff
Breakfast, super Lunch Restaurant next door!
Location amidst stripclubs, prostitutes, sex shops, the much hyped beauty of Versterbro was far off
The happy hour+; good quality red & white wines supplied at no cost in very pleasant surroundings. This is our 2nd stay here this trip; we were booked in early 10.30am & upgraded to a mini suite, all at no extra cost.
As it's the old red light district there is still a seedy side late on but it didn't bother us. Breakfast was great.
Net curtains or blinds that let in light needed on the first floor
breakfast was lovely plenty of choice the room was excellent very good value for money. Brilliant location close to train station and buses . Will stay there again very nice
compact room it might have just been ours at back of hotel
Staff are excellent, room was modern and clean. Handy for meatpacking district with trendy bars etc
location was ok but is a bit close to a rougher neighborhood.
breakfast was perfect because of the variety of food! Also personell was very helpful and rooms were clean and very good.
The only thing I disliked was that the two-person bed was actually two one-person beds placed as a two person bed. The beds moved apart easily.
Small room Poor internet connection
Easy walking to hop on-hop off bus, Tivoli, shopping, museums etc. Great breakfast and a nice surprise of a compimentary wine in the late afternoon. Complimentary coffee and danish available all day.
In red light district, but this didn't worry us at all.
Staff were fantastic. Very helpful.
