We had a room to the street and there was noise from people sometimes during the night.

It was only a business trip and there is not much to see in the neighbourhood. Allthough I would recommend this Hotel.

For what I paid I was expecting a bit more

It has preserved the old Missionshotel atmosphere, it is basic in a good way, the breakfasts are ample and varied, the staff helpful

central location, no luxury, but good for just two nights to stay :), good breakfast !, a bit slow internet connection, sepecially in the evening when everybody is online, recommend better WLAN equipement !!!!

Very friendly and homely. Tea and coffee available all day was great in a lovely comfy lounge. Late check out and breakfast served until 11am was really relaxing. Right in city centre but in a quiet place and free parking. What more could you want!

We were only passing through Esbjerg for one night and Hotal Ansgar was affordable and comfortable and a sufficient breakfast was included. Check out and breakfast were later than most other places. It was near the city center but at the same time a quiet location. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The building itself was quite lovely (with some history that I didn't get a chance to investigate) and there were fresh flowers everywhere! Booking.com made finding a hotel ahead of time from about 4000 miles away convenient.

I really have no complaints. The only negative I can think of was having to wind through a maze of hallways to get to and from our room.

Calm welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, delightful lounge with coffee available continuously, comfortable & well appointed bedroom - we certainly intend to return.

Som stamkunde gennem 40-50 år kan man ikke finde noget bedre sted til en overnatning.

Rengøringen af badeværelset. Der var ikke gjort rent på gulvet i brusekabinen, så der lå rigtigt mange hår.

Stille og rolige omgivelser, med plads til børnene.

Der var lidt for lang ventetid, da vil skulle tjekke ind, da der ikke var personale ved skranken.

Gammelt hotel med svær tilgængelig på grund af trapper.

Venligt personale, fin morgenmadsbuffet. Gratis parkering i gården. Vi var 3 på et familieværelse med plads til 4, og det fungerede fint.

Savnede en bar om aftenen. Dog kan øl mv. købes af receptionen og indtages i den ellers aftenlukkede restarant.
