Room doors aren't soundproof, which means if there is loud talking in the hallway or breakfast room, it can be noisy.

The hotel is within walking distance to the city centre, with a friendly owner and clean comfortable accommodation in budget style.

No lifts, which meant carrying suitcases up a winding staircase. Squeaking floors at every step. Adequate although limited breakfast assortment. Hotel is unmanned between 5pm and 6am

Extremely personable and helpful owner - who made you feel very much at home, and called on our behalf to make inquiries about opening times at restaurants, etc. Rooms were extremely cozy and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Great breakfast as well!

The Ansgarhus Motel lives up to it's great reviews. It is simple, comfortable and scrupulously clean. A really nice breakfast is provided with the most welcoming friendly host who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. I was very sad to leave and will certainly be returning.

The host was lovely and very willing to help, the atmosphere was private and everything was absolutely clean and nicely decorated - feels like home! Breakfast was also very good and provided everything I needed. Absolutely recommend this place!

Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Location is excellent for walking into central Odense for bars, restaurants museums etc.

The owner, Kenneth, was very nice, helpful and welcoming. Our entire stay was very pleasant and quiet. the hotel is very close to Odense city center (about 7 minutes walk) and is in a quiet street by a church.

The location is perfect. Close to the inner City as well as to parks and yet it is very quiet at night. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts excellent.

The welcome from the manager (I think he was the manager). Very nice person, gives you all the information you need. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The WiFi works great! The breakfast is personalized and very complete.

I did not expect I will stay in such good place when booking this Motel. Its quality is better than a lot of hotels I stayed in. Quality of services is a surprise. We enjoyed staying here.

This is a great little inn, run by a friendly proprietor that obviously takes great pride in his facility. Though relatively modest in cost, every detail is nicely addressed, from individual reading lamps with dimmers to quality linens to a good breakfast. Yes, the bathroom was small but totally functional, the beds very comfortable. Easy, free parking, free wifi, a short walk from the city center. You could spend more, but why?

En god og personlig betjening. Hyggeligt og dejligt rent værelse - stille og roligt, selvom det ligger midt i Odense.

Att hotellet var litet med en enormt gästvänlig atmosfär. Den glada, hjälpsamma och energifulla värden som omhändertog oss så väl från vi kom till vi checkade ut. Saknade ingenting, allt av vikt fanns att tillgå, kunde t.o.m. njuta av ett glas vin i den mysiga trädgården. Väljer definitivt samma hotell vid nästa Odensebesök.

Hotellet ligger rigtigt centralt i Odense, lige ved Munkemose og parker og ganske få min. til centrum. Det er et rigtigt hyggeligt sted,med en ejer der strutter af energi og lyst. Man føler sig hjemme med det samme. Kan stærkt anbefales.

Ligger centralt i forhold til Odense by. Hjæpsomhed på stedet.

Som vanligt fantastiskt bemötande på detta familjära hotell. Centralt läge 200 meter från gå- och shoppinggatan i Odense. Små, men trevliga och välutrustade rum.

デンマーク人の人懐っこさと親切な人柄の典型ともいえるスタッフです。加えて英語の得意でない日本人にも丁- 寧にわかりやすく対応してくれました。ロケーションは町はずれで駅からは遠いですが、車にとってはむしろア- クセスがよく便利です。公園と教会に面しており、シティセンターには川沿いの素敵な散歩道で15分ぐらいの- アクセスですから満足できました。紹介されたレストランCro'nまではやはり15分ほど歩きます- 。そこでオランダから来た日本人の花の研究者たちに会いました。海外で頑張っている日本人の話を聞くことは- 楽しいですね。また食事もデンマーク風でお勧めでした。
