It's beautiful hotel in a great location. My room was a good size and seemed clean. I liked that I had a fridge and the bed was comfortable. Free wifi. My bathroom smelled like sewage. The deodorizing effort by the staff was not sufficient. The fitness center was in poor shape. One of the two elipticals was missing a power peace, the other squeaked horribly. The treadmill would shutoff after a few minutes of running.

Rooms very clean and centrally located: main trainstation, Tivoli, shopping area, restaurants, cinemas and bars are all on walking distance. Basic rooms are not worthy of the 4 stars! Rooms are very small; paid for upgrade and got a decent 1-person room that they sell as a 2-person room! Wooden floor in hallway and rooms make squeaking noises, that can be heared throug the walls. Lots of noise from the streets comes into the room (traffic and people visiting opposite bar/disco). Kitchenette is hardly worth the price: only one stove, one cooking pot, no oven and no microwave and one noisy fridge. Receptionists are not very customer friendly and will neglect the guests, unless the guests approach their desks (may be something Danish though). They charge an extra fee for foreign credit cards.

Location. Caused I stayed for 6 nights they kindly upgrade my room to double room with seperation between kitchen/bathroom and bedroom which is very nice. They should also equip the bathroom with heater and the heater in bedroom is rather small which is unable to make the room warm enough.

Good breakfast kept you going all day if needed - but better earlier than towards end of breakfast session Room was cold on arrival as the radiator wasn't fully working - better after provided extra heater. Remote control didn't work but as not in room too much didn't bothered requesting new one it was just irritating. Staff on reception did not always acknowledge that you were waiting for service - on worst occasion 2 staff took phone calls while I was waiting and didn't look at me once - I did wonder if this was because I was collecting my bag and no longer a paying customer!!

Location and the breakfast was good. Rooms are small. Rooms are noisy, you can hear people in the corridors and talking in their rooms. It is terrible. My room stunk of smoke coming from other rooms. The bar isn't always staffed. This is a 3 star hotel at the most. Not a 4 star!

Breakfast was included was good. The room was nice, we got a free room upgrade from standard to superior which was lovely. For a double room two single beds had been placed together which was comfortable enough but the doona/duvet was not one large single piece but two small ones which was frustrating. Also for the kitchenette there was no kettle or tea/coffee facilities which I usually find when staying in 4star hotels.

Excellent location near Stroget and Tivoli Rooms were not cleaned properly or beds made up every day. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Room service for 2 cups of tea cost 100Kr and consisted of two mugs of warm water, tea bags and a beaker of milk, handed over at door without a tray. Much juggling required. Soap in bathroom was not renewed when it ran out. Personal items however were removed from bathroom before they were empty. Manager unavailable for comment. Wonderful Copenhagen, not spoiled by awful hotel

After my last visit I was disappointed with the Solarium not working and also the running machine was broken. It was great to see the Solarium working again and a brand new running machine :) Delighted to see a hotel keep their standards high

It was a good location. The staff were not very helpful with requests such as plug adapter and other, they do not cater to a business traveller. The rooms are very small and there is nobody to help with luggage when bringing it upstairs. I had requested an early check-in but was unable to get this.

Good use of older building with nice roomey entrance, restaurant, stairs etc. Room was small but very comfortable. Good location for downtown, yet quiet surroundings. Price stated on Booking.com in booking confirmation (dkk 1650 did not agree with what the hotel actually charged on my creditcard (dkk 1698.68).

It is located in the city centre very close to Tivoli. This was the hotel that offered the best prices, though expensive, in the area. The room I had on the top floor was rather small (about 8 m²) and at the end of a long corridor. For that reason (I guess) I had some problems to access the wifi connection. Furthermore the heading was noicy. Nothing "additional" in the room (eg no iron, kettle, shower cap). The breakfast was not included so I had to pay for it. However I found that 150 DKK for a "normal" breakfast was very expensive.

“The hotel is charming and has a warm feel to it, like your back in time 200 years in Nordic history .The room is nice, though a bit dark ( small windows because its an old building) but thats no problem. The room is clean. Breakfast is ok, a nice choice of food, with nice view of the water. The location is perfect for the harbour ( eating lunch outside!) and shopping. It is away of the noise but close to the city centre. Copenhagen is a charming city, well worth a visit!” Ronald, Heerhugowaard |
