Ascot Hotel & Spa

In het hotel hadden we gebruik gemaakt van de "penthouse" geweldig als je met z'n 5-en een weekendje weg bent. De hoek om en je bent midden in de stad, treinstation, goede restaurantjes en veel kroegkes (waaronder op loopafstand Heidi's bar!!).

PLezierig hotel. Nette entree, vriendelijk ontvangst en prima staf. Prima ontbijt. Een uitstekend hotel voor zakenmensen en mensen op een stedentrip. Kamers netjes, doch niet erg ruim. Twee persooonsbed stond daarom tegen muur, hetgeen met twee personen wat onhandig is. Douchruimte eenvoudig, maar afdoende.

Kamer is wel erg gedateert.....

Teleurstellend. prijs was hoog kwaliteit was zeer laag. ligt wel centraal.

slechte informatie gehad van front-desk personeel, room service dat de kamer vies achter laat (smerige badkuip, oude koffie kopjes overal - alleen het bed werd gemaakt) en gewoon zeer duur. Het hotel geeft aan 24 uur per dag room service te hebben,. maar toen wij om 23.00 sandwiches wilden bestellen werden we vertelt dat room-service alleen drinken had. gewoon vervelend.

The location is excellent, breakfast was ok.

To get to the check-in you have to go up a couple of stairs, not a problem, but it becomes annoying when you have to then leave out the main door, and go into another house where your room is. There you find a small elevator, where you go up to your floor, and then out to the fresh Copenhagen air, walk for 300 meters outside in the rain to get to your room. Major disadvantge is that there is no tv in the room where the bed is, I like to watch tv in bed when I am travelling alone on business. Few English tv stations. The staff was typically Danish, not friendly, but polite. Room was cold!

Great breakfast

Altough there are signs for a restaurant in the hotel and menus in the rooms, there is no restaurant! I got told the hotel hasn't got a restaurant, because there are many just around... This is true, but please, remove the signs and the menus.

We stayed in the apartments for five people. We had a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed which was perfect as there were three of us staying there. Much more spacious than a hotel room. Well located just a stroll from the Tivoli Gardens and around the corner from the Wheel of Copenhagen. Breakfast had everything you would expect from a 4-Star Hotel. Particularly liked the balconies on both sides of the apartment.

Lifts are a bit poky but you can live with that.

The location was very good and the room was a decent size too.

I certainly wouldn't class it as a 4 star hotel. The lobby was impressive, but the rest of the hotel could do with refurbishing, it was really rather tatty.

It's very close to arrive from Kastrup airport by train, and you can just walk anywere from here!

The room was clean and very comfortable

Location was the number one advantage of this hotel.

The breakfast buffet was only average for a 4 star hotel. No fresh fruit (except oj) was a real disadvantage.
