Noisy at times, and could hear a lot of noise and banging doors at times when trying to rest. Some of the staff were rather unfriendly. The hotel had a lot going for it but is a bit scruffy (e.g. paint work scruffed off doors and walls) which let it down
Very nice room, excellent breakfast, comfortable public area.
The whole experience was very positive and the front desk staff were extremely accommodating.
There was nothing we didn't like.
This hotel was a pleasure to stay at, breakfast best ever, staff top rated, beds very comfortable, bus over the street into the city.
Great staff, spacious comfortable room. Nice breakfast.
slightly out of town, not much
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good variety.
Distance from city center especially when you have an elderly family member, otherwise you can walk it in about 20mins.
Second room was very quiet and comfortable because it did not front on the very busy street in front of the hotel. Our first room was on the front of the hotel and was very noisy making sleep difficult. The breakfast was excellent, and the main floor and bar area was very nice and comfortable The Staff was very good, and helped us in any way they could, especially finding us another room. General atmosphere very pleasant.
Rooms on the front of the building opening on the busy street too noisy for good sleep. If one keeps windows shut, rooms have no air circulation. The bathrooms are very strange - small and cramped, with a shelf over the sink which is a real "head knocker" if you are not very careful. Virtually no shelf space, nor any other kind of space, for the normal toiletries one carries. Quite a long walk to the attractions of Copenhagen. Some areas easily reached by public transportation. Dining in the immediate area very limited.
Very nice breakfast, friendly and efficient staff, lovely decor.
Everything was great
The entrance id quite nice and taken care off. The area is good with an easy reach to city center
The building is old with small corridors, you can think this is cosy or you can think this just old and a hassle. Main critic is around calling the room Boutique and find out there is an old white early 70ties bathroom with a mini shower with many tiles broken which gives it a dirty look and feel. For that price it is definately not worth it.
Cute hotel, small but comfortable room. No AC, but this is not needed most of the time. 15-minute walk from the center, very close to the airport my metro.
Attitude of staff Breakfast Communal spaces
Warm reception from staff who were very helpful. Very cool interior with nice comfy chairs in the bar. The hotel is really close to the metro station and only a 15 minute walk or so to the centre. Would recommend!
It was a little bit noisy because of the traffic so we decided to keep the window closed but it meant it was quite warm. I had read about this on another website though so was armed with ear plugs and it was actually fine.
The noise levels at night were truly horrendous, the bar across the street was playing loud euro pop until four in the morning , and every beat was heard, I would suggest that until the soundproofing problem with this hotel is addressed it should be avoided . Form should follow function , but in this case the good design it totally undermined by the unacceptable noise. To be avoided
The comfort was excellent : the room was big, the bed perfect and the lobby with the hotel living room was a real plus. The staff is very nice and everything was easy. The breakfast is also great. It is also real nice to have the possibility to rent a bike, and their bikes are perfect.
The location is not the best, but it was ok as the city is not so big. Unfortunately, there was a party in the bar on the avenue. It can be a little noisy. Ask for a room on the garden side.
Friendly personnel, nice breakfast
old rooms, dirty fitted carpet, not a boutique hotel. Charged credit card with 800 kr for losing the key (yes, they still had the traditional ones) without prior notice. Completely unacceptable. All in all, very unpleasent experience.
Friendly behavior of staff, boutique feel, size of family room was good. Easy access by bus to center.
Strong odour in the room, had trouble sleeping. Shared concern with staff at around 3pm before leaving the hotel. When we returned found late there was nothing they had done. We eventually asked for an air freshener. Hoped they would be more proactive. Breakfast minimal.
The staff are just A1- Simone and Cecile are just so helpful and have gorgeous smiles. From the lovely Polish lady in the breakfast room, the guys on reception up to the Hotel Director, all were so friendly and helpful. Location- just out of centre but Metro and Buses just round the corner. Parking at a very reasonable rate. Our Superior room was very spacious with its own little balcony, sofa, desk, easy chairs, mobile plug and shelf just inside door, Free beer/soft drinks in Mini-bar. Stylish bar with snacks -hot and cold avaiable. Relaxing outside area with sofas and kids toys, as has breakfast room.Orla Kiely toiletries-not found everywhere. Cityscape view at front better than rear, can take a while for the traffic to die down but then it is one of the main roads out of the city. All told, our stay was an excellent experience and one we want to repeat.Mr HD... hang on to your staff at all costs!!
Reception area / bar / lounge areas Great beds, very spacious & quiet room Excellent breakfast buffet Very friendly and competent staff
In the shower, someplace to put shampoo/soap. More places to hang up towels.
Very small room, bad bathroom and very very hot rooms!!! There isn't an air conditioner in the rooms so it is impossible to sleep.
I really liked the decor and also the breakfast was varied and tasty (although not hot food, but this wasn't an issue for us). Superior rooms are roomy, but then also quite expensive. Location is decent, not too far from Norrebro which we really liked. Downstairs lounge area and outside decking are really lovely and very comfortable.
There were a couple of minor issues with our room, firstly, despite requesting and booking a double room, the bed seemed like two single beds pushed together and there were two separate single duvets. Not sure if this is standard but we were a little disappointed. Also tv remote didnt work at all meaning that a lot of the functionality was gone. We asked a staff member to look at it but he simply didn't know how to fix it and no one else ever got back to us to fix it/offer anything by way of apology/compensation. Overally really liked the room we were just disappointed with these two things.
Staff is very friendly and position is good (even if quite far from city center); nice breakfast buffet.
Hotel requested full payment on arrival (not compulsory, but "preferable" according to them); our bedroom was silent, but small for 3 and a little neglected (wall peeling)
This hotel has great public spaces and wonderfully friendly staff. We got a lovely room (202) overlooking the garden and car park at the back of the hotel and it was sunny and peaceful. The double bed was two singles pushed together, but that was not a problem. There was a fridge in the room and a large flat screen tv. The breakfast was excellent - we were spoilt for choice. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the Forum metro or about 15-20 mins to the Town hall and Tivoli. It is a very easy city to get around.
Unfortunately there was a problem in preparing our room and we discovered a significant amount of hair between the two mattresses just after we started to unpack. The hotel staff were excellent in handling this problem, offering us a free drink while we waited for them to re-clean the room (we did not want to change rooms), and they were most apologetic. The matter was resolved to our satisfaction. The only thing we didn't like was the plastic shower curtain.
Very helpful Staff Breakfast selection was fine.
'single' lowest price 'small' room was small!, but clean and comfortable.
Fine for one night. Bus stop at the door.Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful outdoor area. Very suitable for children to play and parents relax.
There was no aircon or effective cooling .Tried opening the window but street was noisy. It was a hot Summer!
