Location was excellent, breakfast was great as at all Guldsmelden hotels, comfortable rooms. It is a bit worn down in places, and I wasn't pleased that the breakfast and spa were not included in the room cost as they had been at other Guldsmelden hotels I had stayed at. The breakfast, at 22 Euro is wonderful but way overpriced. The spa fee was one fee for the entire visit but was over 40 Euro and that wasn't really acceptable in my view. I would recommend the hotel, but let buyer beware about the extras.

Great design - modern but with a homely, natural feel to the hotel. Comfortable, large beds (w/ 2 single duvets - good if you're with a duvet hogger!). Breakfast / brunch is good (but pricey). Friendly staff. Nice spa. Location great for train station and tivoli. No fixed shower head in bathroom - had to resort to holding bath shower with one hand. Couldn't get wireless in our room (but could in main lobby where there is also a mac for use). One off 295dkk charge pp for using hot tub in the spa - steep if you're only there for a few days and intend to use once. Fridge made funny sounds - resorted to unplugging.

Extremely comfortable and homely, with friendly staff, good facilities and a central city location. We especially liked how this hotel was organic and eco-friendly. Even though the bed was a beautiful wooden frame, it creaked every time you rolled over! That was my only gripe!

Rooms were very comfortable. Heated floor tiles in bathroom, and really nice bath products. They had a work desk and good internet reception. Good for business travel. The hotel also had nice areas in the lobby for working and meeting others at the hotel for coffee or drinks. The Hotel's location is close to the train station, and easy walking to the centre of Copenhagen. What really impressed us was the kindness and sociability of the staff, and the delicious high quaity food served in the evenings (tapas buffet) and breakfast (gorgeous bread selection, and fresh foods. The hotel specializes in organic and home made. Lovely experience. We had a tub with hand held shower instead of fixed wall shower head, but the room was so nice we didn't want to change. Next time we will ask for room with fixed shower. The room and hotel were really warm, wich could become uncomfortable. However it was nice for winter, and the temprature was easily fixed with opening the window/door in the room.

The Green profile. Nice breakfast. Small and family friendly. Poor standard of the room which was supposed to be a superior room. Not possible to get right temperature on water in the shower, as well as poor water power in general. Small and worn bathroom. No shower cap and bathrobe available. I will recommend it to friends, but stress that general standard is lower than expected from a 4 star hotel.

It's a nice little hotel in Vestebro, just a 7 minute walk from the Copenhagen Central Station. The rooms are very nice. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a little overpriced at 169 DKK, but quite a nice spread.

Nice room with eco freindly approach (recycled toilet paper) nice room decoration with furniture in bamboo and organic lights...Nice breakfast buffet Very too noisy hotel. In your room you can hear snoring or breathing and the conversation of the people close to your room or in the corridor. The rooms are in a d building badly insulated from each other! The close surroundings of the hotel are full of strange people with prostitution and alcohol

The room was nice with balcony and bathtub. The Asian touch made it really cosy. Breakfast was great, probably the best bread I have tasted in a hotel. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The standard would be closer to 3 stars instead of 4, but I wouldn´t hesitate to recommend the hotel anyway.

The rooms are very modern and silent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we came into the room the heating was on and the room felt like a sauna. It took quite a while to get the room on the right temperature after opening all the windows and turning off the heating.

The hotel is situated very centrally, so you can walk to all main attractions, to the city, and go out in the evening on foot. Everything is bio in the hotel, which is an excellent concept and the rooms are extraordinary facilitated. Even though the rooms are pretty small cut, you have everything you need in a good quality and the hotel in generall, makes a good impression from the very beginning. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, which is rare for a hotel. The personel is very friendly as well. In generall, the hotel is expensive compared to what they offer (breakfast is also expensive, so better book without breakfast) but unfortunately these are the Danish rates! Bio facilities are of course good, but the bio towels are not really good if you are not used to such kind of towels.Very small bathroom, and the shower not very efficiently made as cold water drops all the time when you use the shower. However, I would book this hotel again and I would further recommend it.

Friendly staff, really comfortable bed. The bathtub was too heavy on style and low on functionality. It was hard to take a shower without getting water on the floor.

The location is excellent, right next to the main railway station. There are lots of hotels in the area, as well as ethnic restaurants which is nice, but also something that might be described as a red light district. After a long trip to Copenhagen we were extremely happy about the early check in! The hotel staff was friendly, the look was sophisticated and the atmosphere was very eco friendly. The room including the bathroom were nice and clean, the bed was comfy but a little squeaky. We did not use the hotel services such as the spa and the restaurant because of the high price, but that's Copenhagen for you, can't really blame the hotel for that. The area, with the many strip clubs and such is a little bit iffy but not too bad.

“The hotel is charming and has a warm feel to it, like your back in time 200 years in Nordic history .The room is nice, though a bit dark ( small windows because its an old building) but thats no problem. The room is clean. Breakfast is ok, a nice choice of food, with nice view of the water. The location is perfect for the harbour ( eating lunch outside!) and shopping. It is away of the noise but close to the city centre. Copenhagen is a charming city, well worth a visit!” Ronald, Heerhugowaard |
