It is a very cosy hotel with beautiful rooms and nice and friendly staff. It was very cold, the heat was off and there was not even blankets in the room. |

Hotel Axel Guldsmeden is one of the rare finds - where quality surpasses the value. If located in a bit more upmarket area, noone would even dispute paying double the price. With emphasis on organic lifestyle and renewable energy it is far ahead of its competition. Fantastic experience! Hotel was great, red light district around it less so, but hey - the tolerance and broad mindeness of Copenhagen at full display. |

All staff was nice even I cannot understand German. And easy to get to bus/metro. Breakfast was basic but not bad. The wall was too thin! May be we were noisy in room, but we didn't know it. However moving our luaggege and all stuffs from our room to other room while we're not there, it was feel strange and not good. I recommend here for business trip better. |

The concept of the hotel is everything organic, and it's reflected in design (really nice), bathroom stuff, food (breakfast is really amazing, although a bit expensive), spa. The personnel is indeed very friendly and helpfull. Very close to the central station and the centre. |

This was one of the best stays we have had in a city centre hotel. Everything about it was a delight, especially the concentration on the organic, environmental and "green" issues. Perhaps it is located too close to a red light district |

Quirky and stylish organic-only hotel. Relaxed ambience, with good food available at meal-times. Good location! Not as cheap as I expected - lots of little things soon added up. |

An enjoyable stay. The junior suite was thoughtfully decorated in a modern, understated way. The hotel's ethos (green, organic, sustainable...) is refreshing. Staff are friendly. Only minor complaint is the use of two single matresses, instead of one double, in a four poster, double bed frame, creating an uncomfortable gap in the middle. "Mind the gap" (see above). |

We opted for the bunk beds as the price and other reviews were great. The beds were amazing....more comfortable than my own bed and I never get to say that! The staff is fantastic and the hotel has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The location, while on the edge of a sort of "red light" area, is excellent for getting around the different parts of the city. The walls sometimes seemed a bit thin but it was easy to close off neighbor's noise by shutting the bathroom door. |

wonderful breakfast, beautifully decorated room, wonderful bath tub, and comfortable lobby. The room safe didn't work, and the staff was slow to address the problem. |

The rooms are very quiet and the organic breakfast is very good. The hotel is really comfortable and in 5 minutes you reach the city center. the area is not one of the best in the city but I didn't have any bad experience. |

The hotel rooms were extremely clean. The design was fresh and different. The hotel staff was excellent and really helpful and very welcoming. The red light district area runs behind the hotel, so if you are approaching the hotel from behind the railway station in the late hours of the night, it can be a little uncomfortable if you are with family or a single female. It is better in that case to approach it from the Vesterbroggade which is populated at almost any time of the day and less seamy |

This is a wonderful hotel for the location and price and the design features are very tasteful: Álso a very thoughtful and firendly staff. I have stayed here several times, and will stay again and recommend to others.(If you are single, staying in a bunk bed room is a very affordable alternative, esp. for Copenhagen. It is a 5 min walk from train station too. |

A very stylish hotel. Everything is organic. The two bunk beds in the single room each had a flat screen tv. Open plan wet room/bathroom. Lots of small touches. Great location, 5 min walk from the railway station. Staff extremely helpful and nice. Even toilets in the lobby look like a work of art! Would have been nice if it was just a bit cheaper, but in the end it's competitive compared to other hotels in Copenhagen and is worth the money. |

Lovely hotel, nicely decorated and clean. Helpful staff. Very comfortable bed! However, not sure if it was worth it for the price (see below) bathrooms were small (although clean) and shower cubicles overflowed. There was no hot water at times in our room - however when we complained we were moved to another room promptly. The breakfast was not included in the room rate and there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which one would expect in a 4 star hotel. |

Nice room. To be in a "spa" hotel and then have to pay extortionate prices to be able to use the sauna etc. is completely unacceptable for me. The same goes for the price of the breakfast. |
