Close to the city center, good public transport, quiet
common toilet and bathroom, bed-linen washing powder smell
- Great location near Christianshavn - Spacious, bright room - Excellent value for money in an expensive city
- Wifi was not working on the upper floor where our room was, but did work fine in the kitchen on the lower floor
location - a lot of caffe, shops, close to metro, enough comfortable
a member of staff 1) has a problem with English, 2) started to prepare breakfast when some guests had to go (9 a.m). Therefore, I didn't have opportunity to have a breakfast twice.
I like the room, it was big and light. We had a nice TV. The staff was very nice and happy and service-minded. It was very close to shops and restaurants, and a bus-stop right outside the house.
That there only was one bathroom. The view from our room. That some of the staff did'nt speak very good english.
The location was 20 minute walking distance to most tourist spots.
I can hear The neighbors talking very loud in the middle of the night and the other guests were too noisy banging doors, stomping the creaky wooden floor and talking aloud at 11pm/12mn waking me up from sleep.
I arrived early, and was allowed to check-in right away! Great view Tasty breakfast, personalized Comfortable room Friendly staff
The location is a good 20 min walk from the city centre, but very walkable. A bit inconvenient if one didn't want to walk or take a taxi.
Brilliant staff. Nice shared kitchen. Comfy bed. Quiet.
owner is nice free coffee and tea clean room
I was living in 4th floor, and the wifi was not working at all. I needed to go down to 2nd floor for internet connection.
Only one toilet and shower for several rooms. Problems with wi-fi on one floor.
The best part of staying at the Guesthouse was the proprietor. He was so helpful and nice to talk to. The room was clean and pleasant. The location was easy to walk to the city center.
Sharing a bathroom can be tricky but it worked out just fine.
Charlson was most helpful. Provided good tips and the rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen facilities modest but adequate for simple meal.
Wifi did not work while we were there. Pillows very flat but may be normal for district. Location a little loud but good and close to transport.
+ Located accross the bridge from the city center, within walking distance from most atractions, which gave us the opportunity to discover interesting places that are not on the tourist map (like Kayak bar, the perfect place to stop for last beer of the evening). + The host is excellent, very willing to ensure all the comfort and share travel experiences with their guests. + We had a large spatious room, with large windows, comfortable bed, a dining zone and fully equiped living area (huge TV, couch) + The kitchen is fully equiped, you can cook anything you want (I even used the oven for a small brunch), tea, coffee and bread for breakfast are on the house. + There is only one bathroom for 5 rooms, but they showed us to another one, in the near by not used apartment, which solved the crowding issue.
- a bit cleaner bed linen (pillows and mattress cover) and comon areas would be a difinite plus for the place. - the door bell could be moved from the front door, which is close to bedrooms, to the kitchen/reception area where it is needed
The large room and the view
The beds were too soft and worn out. The shared bathroom on the 4th floor was very bad. It needs a complete refurbishment. Ended up using the bathroom on the 2nd floor.
Great character accommodation in good location. Exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The staff was extremely helpful/friendly, the room was huge and despite that we were close to the center, it wasn´t noisy.
The shared bathroom/toilet, but it´s the same in all hostal in denmark!!
The guesthouse is very-well connected to both the town centre and the airport. It is located in a very quite area, out of the reach of the noisy town life. So a good rest is garanteed. The staff is very kind, warmheared and friendly. City map is also provided in the guesthouse.
This is an old apartment building with 4-5 rooms on each floor that share a bath. The room we had was charming, on the 3rd floor with a view of the street and looking towards the Vor Felser(sp?) Church. Beds were soft but comfy enough. Room was large and bright, with airy curtains and decor that felt very European. Staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. The elevator, although small, worked fine and we didn't have to haul luggage upstairs. The location, near the north end of Amagerbro was perfect for our needs--not in the middle of the city, but within walking distance of most things and near a tram stop for others.
The bathroom. You just have to accept it as an old-world European cultural experience, but there were quite a few people expecting to use the shower and toilet at all the expected times, and although it was a bit musty, everything worked.
Wifi was working and location should be fine for leisure travellers
sharing the toilet and shower with so many rooms, too much. Noise level in the house, no invoice in the morning, no option for coffee although indicated. Price is not too high, but still to much for what is offered.
The owner is a really nice guy, friendly and helpful and honest. As I had a length of time between check in and my plane he kept my luggage, which was very kind of him. The location is convenient, a bus ride from and to the airport and within easy reach of the city centre. The place was clean and room of good size, quiet and despite the bathroom shared it was clean and there was no que. Wi-Fi worked well, tea and coffee were available. There are many cafes and restaurants/take away nearby so it was convenient.
Disorganised!! On arrival the room I had booked was not available, as there had been a mistake in the booking. I was re-located to a room in a private house nearby, the room was very clean and stylish…however as I was in a private house the room had on display all the personal belonging and clothes of someone else. The lady who owns the property arrived late night while I was asleep, she was noisy and woke me up, she then started to ask me what the arrangement was and who was paying her…as I had already paid the Guesthouse I expected to be treater like a hotel guest, so this was very annoying. The next morning she kept pointing out she had people coming at 11 so I had to leave…I felt a complete lack of privacy and I was not comfortable in the place: my first night was uncomfortable and ruined my stay. When I went beck to the to Guesthouse I was given another room, which was an "upgrade" really spacious and nice…I was told it would be cleaned and ready within a couple of hours so I went out, when I returned after 3 hours it was not cleaned and the owner not present so I had to insist with the cleaner to have the bed changed and rubbish from previous occupants taken out. When I finally had my room, it was actually really lovely and quiet and clean…so on my second night I finally did enjoy my stay !! It should specify on the description that this is a room rental, because it did not feel like a Guesthouse or b&b.
Host very helpful and friendly Good location
Helpfulness of staff. Always willing to help in any way. Roomy, airy accommodation.
Having so many rooms sharing one bathroom.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable, the bathrooms were shared but despite the GuestHouse being full there was never a line. There is always coffee and tea available for the guests. The staff is amazing! They are extremely friendly and nice and helped us finding nice places to go, as well as tell us about different public transport tickets that could help save us some money. It was my first stay in a guest house and I most definitely recommend this one!
Clean, decent location, large room
Not really a bed and breakfast, more accurately a furnished room rental. Disorganized. We only saw the host, Carsten, briefly, when we arrived. He promised us passes for Tivoli and coffee, bread and cheese for breakfast - none of which materialized. I had requested a double bed but were given two singles.the place appears to be in the middle of renovation - exposed wiring. There is only one bathroom , which is grossly insufficient.
Good location on bus route, 5 minute walk to subway and 20 minute walk to city. Owners very helpful and provided free entry to Tivoli Gardens. Good rooms and communal facilities. Handy to restaurants and bars.
A little noisy at night - traffic noise from busy intersection nearby.
It was nice to have coffee 7/24 also fully equipped kitchen to cook. Owner was very kind and helpful. I never used but laundry and ironing is possible if you wish isn't it great?
It was little bit far to city center than i expected
