* it is what you expect from Best Western: room is clean, bed is good, breakfast is ok.
* no air condition + big glass wall (it is a motel-like hotel) = not very comfortable in hot summer evening or sunny morning
Small and uncomfortable bathroom. Breakfast is sober, bad coffee.
wifi = ok bed = ok
- First impression: did we really book a room is such a sleazy hotel? - Dirty, smelly room. Dust everywhere. - Next to the door to our room were remains of insects and spider rags. - Your head is certainly going to collide painfully with the hanging tv set. - No water cooker in the room. - Only a shower, no bath tub light bulb not functioning - Hotel does not live up to the Best Western reputation (or helps enormously to downgrade the BW-reputation). - A waste of money. I will not go there again!
Buildings in need of some renovation.
Very helpful staff
No air conditioning. Rooms very old and dated.
the location and the efficiency of the place
all flats on the ground floor: did not feel quite safe leaving the window (let alone the terrace door) open while away or during the night
we got a big room, with to Double beds.
Should have been a small fridge in the room, and something against the bugs in front of the Windows. WiFi was unstable.
A reggeli bőséges,finom,remek.Nagyon szerettem.
Nekünk minden tetszett.
Nede of maintenens
I was satified with the hotel. Good with a small table outside the room.
According to the description of the room in booking.com. The room should have a water boiler, but it was not in the room.
Breakfast was poor
Excellent Breakfast. Plenty of Parking available. Near town.
Nice room, helpful staff, good location.
Hotel is mainly a business hotel, no real charm to it.
Parking free of charge, easy reception, quiet place in Kolding in a nice park.
No large beds, always two small beds.
Free copying service. Breakfast Dinner Friendly staff
Hard to log in on hotel PC.
Lazy staff, bar closed at 10pm closed all day on some days reception locked at 10pm it is really a motel
good restaurant inside
the building is like a motel, then, if you want to go to the reception you have to walk outside.... a little uncomfortable; the reception closes too early and I had to call the hotel by phone to get in !
The staff here are amazing always happy to help, they have no problem printing off my boarding passes, suggesting restaurants to eat at etc..
Breakfast here used to be fantastic, over the last year it seems like they've cut the breakfast budget in half!
Comfortable bed & duvet, good desk and chair, plenty of space in the bedroom, good continental breakfast included in the price
Pillows were far too soft
Great place at a great value
The dinner was excellent .
The hotel was more like a motel - functional but not aesthetic. For breakfast they ran out of scambled egg. We requested some more and that took ten minutes. When the egg arrived they had run out of bacon. The egg was tasteless
- reception persons were very friendly - free parking - short way in the city - pancakes
- old fashioned style like motel; - economy room was functional
path to reach room
The free parking and hotel location. The rest was mostly bad.
I usually don't write negative reviews but my experience here was so bad that I have to tell other users. This hotel is made of many buildings on the ground floor, connected with them by a maze of corridors. We were assigned one of the farthest rooms and had to carry our heavy luggagge on a long and rough stone-paved trail, with additional obstacles on it. The room was ok except for the "double bed", which was made of two beds set side-by-side. We were quite upset because I have been reassured that the room was with "doppeltseng", not "separate senge". We usually don't like that solution because with smooth wooden floor a person can fall in between the beds while sleeping. If we wanted a real double bed, we could have paid an extra to get a Business room, but we refused the option. Our "double bed" had only one pillow and one blanket, so we had to ask the reception to bring one more set. Personnel was polite but careless, as they didn't tell us any information about breakfast time and check-out (but they didn't forget to have us pay at the check-in). Room has curtains but they do not keep the morning light out of the room, so you might get up early here. Getting to the reception, to the breakfast hall and out of the hotel either required that incredibly long stroll in the corridors or an equally long walk outside the building, because all the doors on the outer side were closed and never opened. We saw those doors just outside our room, but had to go the long way around. Breakfast was ok, but as soon as we got back into the room we realized that water supply had been cut off for hydraulic works. I had to find the working man (not difficult, as he was soundly pounding his hammer at 10.00) and asked him to give us water for 10 more minutes. To avoid another odissey in those mazy corridors, I drove the car on the narrow dirt road just outside our room.
