Best Western Jørgensens Hotel    

Very kind and helpfull receptionists. Good breakfast. The hotel is located right in center of Horsens.

Great athmosphire, clean but a bit tiny room, excellent breakfast, nice cellarbar downstairs.

Due to situation at walking street, a liitle bit hard to find with car. But safe carpark behind the hotel.

The atmosphere!

The staff were helpful, professional & very friendly. The building has a great deal of history & character, the room that I had was comfortable with all the necessary items. The location was quiet while being central in the town. The breakfast buffet was better than I anticipated (in my experience most Danish hotels offer a cold breakfast with boiled eggs but Jorgensens had a hot buffet, too).

The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone & getting to it with my car was challenging. Having said that - the hotel has arranged with the local authorities to allow guests to park in the pedestrian area over night without problem & it was free from any traffic noise - so some people would see that as a benefit.

The room was a bit too small

Really horrible room - not clean, smelly, ugly view from the window, very very small bed for the two persons (in the double room), old damaged windows, very very bad bathroom with the WC! Parking place quite faraway from the hotel. Simply hard to understand how its possible that this hotel can have 4 stars. Really I don't recommend this hotel.

The receptionist was great - very friendly and efficient. We did not like the room we had booked and she immediately sorted us out with a suitable room. The twin beds were very comfortable. English country style decorating suits the style of the building, but it is looking a little tired. The standard rooms are much plainer, but perfectly sufficient.

Our gps could not access the hotel due to road works. We spent nearly an hour circling and asking people before we finally found the hotel. There was no warning on the web with advice on how to get there. We eventually found a tiny tunnel that we just managed to squeeze through as the hotel is on a pedestrian area and vehicle access had been cut off by bollards and the road works. The hotel is tired and rambling, and though there is a lift, we had to carry our bags to the first floor as the lift cannot be accessed from the ground floor. We booked a superior double but the bed was no more than a 3/4 size so we moved to a standard which had very comfortable twin beds. The bathroom was fairly big, but nowhere to put my things. I hate having to put my toiletries on the toilet, but there is nowhere else. Shower, with its flimsy curtain, makes a huge mess which leaves the floor dangerously slippery. Breakfast was ok but chaotic with noisy children everywhere. The breakfast room has two distinct areas, so they should separate the families with noisy children and food all over the floor, from those without children. We felt completely invaded and overwhelmed.

We were allowed to check in very early after driving all night long, and then we changed room because bed was too small. Everything is possible very nice staff and service! Compliments!

Room - very small and very dated. Basket with peanuts was called a minibar - joke.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel. It was excellent, beautiful rooms,, nice bed and big bathroom with bath and shower.

Ottima prima colazione

Camera piccola, bagno poco confortevole

Værelserne var pæne og moderne. Restaurant og reception bar et hyggeligt præg af tidligere tiders storhed. Der var en hygge ved den gammeldags indretning. Rigtig god morgenmad.

Værelsets vinduer vendte ud til brandtrappe og det var ikke muligt at låse, hvis vinduet var åbent.

Flott og sentral beliggenhet med gratis bilparkering. Rikholdig og velsmakende frokost. Hyggelig personale.

Gammelmodig rom og bad. Ved ankomst fikk jeg beskjed om at seng på bestilt dobbeltrom var kun 140 cm bred. Måtte derfor betale tillegg for å få en vanlig dobbeltseng. Har aldri opplevd lignende.

Hotellet var super hyggeligt, personalet alletiders, klar med en frisk bemærkning, dejligt.

Lidt skuffet over værelserne, manglede lidt det romantiske islet, som det øvrige hotel emmede af

Havde en fantastisk overnatning - var det i forbindelse med musical i Forum :-) tæt på i gå afstand - hyggeligt sted og god service :-)
