Staff accommodating, service minded and friendly. Room well equipped and cozy. Dinner was excellent, breakfast good.

The wireless internet speed was fantastic (better than any other hotel in the city). The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Plenty of great English cable channels on the television. There was some (limited) underground parking available.

It was a bit of a distance to downtown Odense (fine if you have a car, but too far to walk). Not many restaurants in the vicinity. There was no gym. All room entrances were to the exterior (motel style).

The room, which was in the new block, was comfortable and clean with very good sound insulation (triple glazing).

The location of the hotel at the intersection of two main roads would cause problems in summer if you wanted to have the windows open. In winter, there's no problem with this. It's quite a distance from the city centre but if you're happy as we were to get on a 21 or 22 bus, you're into the centre in 10-15 minutes for 24 Krone per person. The taxi is about 110 Krone. It would be nice if they swept up the leaves in the corridor outside the rooms - they tend to blow into the room! But this is just a seasonal issue. If you find the hotel menu rather pricey, there's the petrol station store next door which has a good selection of snacks, and there's a Turkish kebab and pizza restaurant/take-away with a massive selection about 2 minutes away; there's also an Indian restaurant/take- away in the same block

Country side style family hotel inside a mid size Danish town. I had an excelent dinner and the staff was very friendly.

Hotel located a bit outside the city center. The hotel rooms are in separate buildings from the lobby (=if it rains you will get wet).

This hotel is perfectly located between the E20 highway exit and downtown Odense which is a 20 minutes walk away. The “historical” part of the hotel's premises has the charm of an old Danish farmhouse, whereas the “modern” part is an unobtrusive yet highly functional building. Regardless of the price category, the rooms are nicley furnished, very functional and clean. In the higher price categories, the guest benefits, amongst other things, from the windows leading to a quiet neighborhood instead of the noisy Hunderupgade. The breakfast buffet is a “7” out of a “1” (“worst”) to “10” (“best”) scale. The fact that a “Q8” gas station is located in the immediate neighborhood of the hotel is an added value, thanks to the shop's long opening hours and the car wash facility.

For a Best Western hotel of this category, it is difficult to find aspects that could be further improved – the Knudsens Gaard is a very well managed facility. Maybe, the breakfast buffet could offer a wider choice of teas or additional elements that are typical of a Danish breakfast, such as e.g. marinated herring and Danish blue. Or, it would be great if you could ask the service staff to bring you an espresso…

The total "rural" milieu. Very peaceful.

Staff v friendly. Convenient location within walking distance of old town. Supermarket v close. Large room. Family type hotel.

Can be noisy if in rooms on front. Garage right beside hotel although this did not bother us. Breakfast OK but not that imaginative.

Fantastisk hyggelig sted. Personalet er hyggelige og imøtekommende. Flotte rom. Dansk idyll. Svært godt kjøkken; pen mat og god mat. Kan virkelig anbefales!!

Bij aankomst, kregen we een upgrade naar een bussiness kamer, waardoor de prijs zeer goed meeviel. Grote en propere badkamer. Heel vers ontbijt, zowel het fruit als het brood. Op 20min stappen van het centrum.

Dejlig atmosfære, kompetent og meget venligt og imødekommende personale. Vi blev opgraderet til en juniorsuite, der var vældigt fint indrettet, havde bestilt et superior dobbeltværelse.

Værelset virkede meget mørkt, da det kun havde vinduer mod vest. Der manglede læsebelysning.

Jag betalade mycket pengar för en natt, men det var det inte värt. Servicen låg inte på topp för att vara en dyr natt.

Vi kan generelt godt lide atmosfæren. Der er dejligt fredeligt. Personalet er altid venligt. Rimelige priser.

Jeg har sagt det før. Kunne godt tænke mig noget mere miljøvenligt sæbe på badeværelserne - uden parfume. Og så - ud med alle gulvtæpperne. De lugter af kemikalier.

Det er nu anden gang vi overnattet, i Odense, alt er klar og forberedt til tiden, dejligt

Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Service. Sehr schönes Ambiente der Gesamtanlage, auch der Außenbereiche.

Es stürmte und regnete und es zog sehr stark durch die direkt vom Laubengang ins Zimmer führende Tür.

Udmærket værelse. Glimrende seng med gode madrasser.

Der var ganske få overnattende. Alligevel fik vi et værelse længst muligt væk fra receptionen - på første sal. Havde vi fået et tilbud om superior eller suite, ville vi I hvert fald have overvejet det. Ellers var vi tilfredse, ikke mindst med betjeningen.
