Best Western Mercur Hotel

It was very cold in the room (in March 2010)

This hotel is convenient to the main railroad station and downtown area. The breakfeast is abundant and pretty good.

Our room had a nasty smell and was small, with not enough storage area. The elevators are tiny. The lounge area and lobby are unattractive. People at front desk were not particularly pleasant.

Not much. Close to the rental car shops in the city - Avis, Budget, Hertz.

Just about everything was awful - location, check-in at 3pm, hot, noisy on both sides...

The convenience of hotel for sight seeing and shopping with good resturants,train station and tourist information near by.

Although I am a smoker I did not like all the cigarette ends lying on pavement at front door ,and suggest a bigger recepticle as most of your clients obviously did not use the small one located to the right of doorway.

Very convenient to trains, tours, restaurants & shopping. Clean comfortable and good value.

The trains are convenient but noisey if your room faces the tracks. Airconditioning in this case is needed, you need to keep window shut.

Very clean room, new toilets and bathrooms. Good service.

No air condition! Room was like a sauna. with small children the night was a nightmare with high temperature!!!!

Good location, easy walk to the central station and Tivoli. Excellent breakfast included in room rate.

Rooms facing street are quite noisy from passing trains. No air conditioning.

The location was great--across the street from the Vesterport metro stop, which was one stop from the central train station. It was close to Tivoli, and within easy walking distance to many tourist sites. The breakfast was ample, and there was a free internet terminal in the lobby. Luggage storage was easy.

English channels such as bbc or cnn were not free on tv. We were told the cost of English channels was 89 k an hour! There was little choice in tv channels. Most of them seemed to be playing the same program in different languages. We finally found a World Cup channel in German, but it was a long process because of the way the channels were arranged. Also, there was no Mozilla as a browser on the free internet terminal.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice

Due to an early flight we had to check out early on the 2nd day and because of this we didn't get any breakfast. Some hotels offer a snack-bag when this happens - it would have been nice and somewhat expected. Also, the room looked bigger and nicer on the hotel's website than it did in reality.

there was a fan in the room for when it got hot and the breakfast was great ,

there should be more tea and coffee in the room and some milk ,also more than one regular pillow

weak water pressure of shower, room that looks out on the street is very noisy because railway is on the other side of the street.

It was clean, affordable and walking distance to the City Centre. Although busy, we also liked the breakfast facilities.

The front office staff were definitely not very warm and welcoming!! We were quite put off by that, because Danish people are generally not like that. Oh and the computer that's in the hotel lobby is somewhat old and should be replaced. (For clients that wish to use it for online check-in, for example...)
