This family-run hotel is in the vibrant Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, within a 5 minute walk of Central Station and Tivoli Gardens. It offers bike rentals and a popular continental breakfast.
Score from 2179 reviews Good
The hotel is located in a very good, central area, close to the bus and metro station and also to Tivoli Gardens.
Staff, Copenhagen, beautiful cosmopolitan eating and drinking places within walking distance. In 1 week Copenhagen hosted Iron Man and World badminton championships. Train transport so wonderful and cheap. Staff solved every problem known to man!
Decent location, decent room, decent price
Bathroom essentially flooded when showering
Room was too noisy and shabby
Location is excellent as it is close to bus services and is 3 minutes from Copenhagen Central Station by 40 or 66 buses. Walk is possible to main streets. Wifi is very good (2 logins already available in the room and you can ask for more from the friendly staff)
Some rooms are close to the busy road outside so can be quite noisy during the night.
Good location a short walk from the central station. The two members of staff we encountered were friendly.
Absolutely filthy dirty. Bathroom floor full of hair and the tiles around the bath black with mould. Big stains on the carpet, curtain and one of the bed sheets.
Location. Close to trivoli, stroget and station. Friendly reception. Massive and very well built property.
Bathroom.. Shower area was such that the bathroom will be always wet. Internet was very poor.
Central location; friendly staff.
Not very clean (the dead spiders didn't add anything to the charm of the room), very noisy, and very basic for the price.
- Very friendly and helpful staff - Good breakfast - Great location (walking distance to most attractions) - DKK 5,580 (USD 165) per night for two is reasonable for a 2-star hotel near the city center in Copenhagen, I guess.
- Small room - Strange shower (bathroom floor floods by design) - No in-room safe - Poor internet connection (too weak for VOIP calls) - Street-side rooms are noisy; no A/C in room which requires opening window
Good breakfast and staff.
The room is a little bit dirty and old furniture. Not possible to pay by Visa Electronic I had to give 300 Dkk as a guarantee, although I had paid before.
Staff were efficient and very helpful and hotel was ideally placed to explore city. Generally we would recommend this hotel.
Being kept awake until after midnight by utterly selfish, loud kids and adults from family room next door. Stamping, running and thudding until all hours. Plus loud shouting in courtyard at back of hotel by public on occasion. 3/6 quiet nights. Not the hotels fault, though.
The bed was comfortable
shower didnt work.very well. No air con. Breakfast poor quality produce watered down juice was undrinkable. Only water melon as a fruit choice..
location cleanliness was fine
overall very disappointing possiby the worst place we have stayed expensive and very poor value for money extreme 'smallness' of the room and minute bathroom - no proper shower, just corner of tiny bathroom with a shower curtain. lack of air conditioning - very hot and stuffy pillows very peculiar, lumpy and hot. corridors like a ferry ship. wifi - did not work in rooms most of the time. Luckily we could spend all of our time out of the hotel sightseeing and exploring Copenhagen as the weather was really good during our stay. Would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is centrally located and very close to attractions like Tivoli. The breakfast buffet has good options and favorable hours.
This hotel has no air-conditioning so it was difficult to sleep at night as Copenhagen gets very hot in the summer. The measly fan did not suffice. Also, the hotel says the have free Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi did not work in our room and was spotty in the lobby. Not a place to stay for families with children.
Breakfast - there was a lot of choice Good location in the centre Really helpful staff
No air conditioning so was quite uncomfortable to sleep
Passable room Comfortable bed
Price gouging:5 star price for 2 star hotel No ac impossibly hot Loud screaming kids out window staff unconcerned Staff attempted to charge me another 1995 dkr upon leaving
Cleanliness of the hotel.
No aircon in the room, which was very hot and stuffy. No safe. Bicycle hire was expensive, I found cheaper options but was far from the hotel.
Totally different compare to the Pics. No cleaning in the bathroom.(bad smell) No air-conditioner in the room.(summer season) No windows, only one door of terrace which is no barrier.(can not open) Never recommendation!!
Location-very close to centre! Friendly staff!
Bad facilites in the room! Bad ventilation-too hot wheather and no any cooling option. Very expensive for what you recieve as service! Poor breakfast! Too noisy street as room orientation! No refregirator in the room!
close to centre
Wifi connection not reliable; unbearably warm temperatures - no A/C, and the fans they provided were either broken or not sufficient. It was impossible to be in the room at any time. Left my suit jacket hanging in the room when I left and it could not be found
Received confirmation from Booking.com that the hotel has approved for late checkout. But we were told by the counter staff on the day of arrival, no request or confirmation were given. But she has politely suggested us to check on it the next day. Did that and the supervisor still insisted they have not agreed for a late check out. Showed her the confirmation email that we received from Booking.com. She said that she didn't know why Booking.com gave the confirmation without their agreement. We were actually dissapointed because we have plan our activities for that day before our departure to Aarhus.
Staff & location.
Rooms very hot, but opening the window ( 6th floor ) means listening to fellow guests sitting on the communal balcony chatting: noise. Booking.com exchange rate Euro-DKK very different from real rate. Room price was actually 20% more than Booking.com price.
- friendly and helpful staff; - good location (close to Central Train Station & Main Tourist Info Center); - the breakfast was varied and ok overall;
- the Wi-Fi in our room was really slow, sometimes not working at all;
Very friendly staff. Good location.
No air conditioner in room. Bad coffe for breakfast.
Location Reasonable price for Copenhagen
False fire alarms A bit tired
