Hotel Birkegaarden  

Excellent breakfast.

Noise from the hall way.

Breakfast was quite good and some of the staff was friendly.

Person working in the reception during nights was quite unfriendly and unwilling to help out in anything. The hotel's iron ruined my skirt and based on this staff person there was nothing they could do to help and there is no laundry service in the town. Also checking out was impossible during evening because he had already shut down the reception computer for the night. Our room was ok although not worth of what we had to pay (scruffy). And if we wouldn't been alert, we would have payed too much when compared to the price that was given when booking the room in advance. I can recommend this hotel though because there isn't too many descent priced hotels in Herning accepting dogs. It's okay for a weekend trip and especially if get lucky and have quiet neighbours (noises can be heard really well from other rooms) but if looking for something fancy, this isn't the hotel for you.

Reception never open

This hotel is a good central location if you are attending events at the Exhibition Centre in Herning. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The kitchen was open for evening meals during our stay and, while the menu was limited, the meals were very good. I will stay here again the next time I attend the Trade Show

I'm guessing that the hotel is only busy when there is a trade show in town. The staff were run off their feet and could have used some more help. This hotel has some quirks I have encountered before in Denmark: Tiny single beds and "all wet" bathrooms. There is no actual shower stall, so you can't take anything into the bathroom. Odd from a North American viewpoint.

Good professional staff. Have stayed here before, but hotel recently renovated with new room decoration and completely new bathrooms with standing shower. Good location in Herning only 2 minutes from the centre by taxi and also just 2 minutes from the main roads. Room tidy and clean and a most relaxing sleep. Good choice of food for breakfast at a good price for Herning.

The room was a little hard to find, away from the main building.

Til trods for at jeres hjemmeside reklamerer med at restauranten har á la carte spisekort, viste det sig at man ikke kunne få et måltid mad. Det var skuffende at jeg var nødt til at gå ud I byen.

Meget små rom. Bar - restaurant stengt. Meget enkel frokost.

På Birkegården er der inkluderet en dejlig morgenmadsbuffet.

Det eneste der ikke fungerede på Birkegården var fjernbetjeningen.

Das Hotel lag sehr zentral für uns. Das Zimmer war sauber.Im Hotel war nur eine Dame die am Empfang war, Sie war sehr nett und freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung, man konnte so viel essen wie man wollte, es war von allem reichlich vorhanden.Ruhige Lage großer Parkplatz.

Für einen längeren Urlaub wäre uns das Zimmer zu klein. Auch in der kleinen Dusche waren keine Ablageplätze für (Duschgel, Shampoo ect.) Hotel für Kurzurlauber oder Wochenendreisende
