In a 1930s building, this hotel is a 2 minute walk from Aarhus Train Station and airport shuttle buses. It offers free Wi-Fi and a steakhouse restaurant with an 8,000-bottle wine cellar.
Score from 533 reviews Very good
WiFi, bed size and bathroom smelled pretty bad
Clean room/beds, very friendly helpful staff. The room was quiet (you get the option to choose for a quiet room on the rear side or a room on the canal side with all the pubs and restaurants). Located in the center of the city.
Ventilation system is a bit noisy at night. Beds are small (width). You have to pay extra for breakfast and it is not that good: no eggs, fruits are dry.
The quiet and breakfast
The building noise monday and Tuesday morning.
Right in the middle of the city. Helpful staff.
Room is too small as well as the bed. The WIFI was horrible.
I slept like a baby here. Best night sleep I have had for years
There was nothing I didn't like
Ridiculously small bathroom and room. Badly designed room in general. No parking facilities.
great location Aarhus downtown good wifi connection
room too small price too high
I use to stay at Cab Inn City in Copenhagen and I would say that their Aarhus hotel is better. It is more central but maybe more important, commodore rooms are far more spacious. Strong wi fi. Very good impression overall.
Great location at the center by the canal. Staff was helpful. There was an electric kettle and tea/coffee available at the room.
Room is very small. For one person it is OK, but fro two it would be really too small, you would not have the place to sit and stand... Bathroom is also very very tiny. Breakfast was quite simple, only ham/cheese and cereal, no cakes, eggs or the like.
Good location, nice staff, clean, good wifi
Tiny rooms and beds
staff was good, breakfast good, quiet, area good for finding restaurants
room is rather small toilet/shower is small no enough desk space to work laptop etc. hotel parking very limited, parking overnight in area difficult.
30min of warstwę time for prepRing an invoice is too much. They did't care about datA which I ve sent via booking.com
Location is probably as good as it gets if you want to be at Aarhus centre. If you keep in mind that this is Denmark and central hotels are very expensive, then this is probably good value.
Even though we went for a more expensive commodore room, it was still too small and too spartan. Beds were too soft to be be comfortable. Had one of our worst sleep. Breakfast had cold food only.
Food no variety.
Very good location and the rooms are clean. Kettle provided in each room which is a big plus for me. Cheapest hotel in the area. 24 hour reception.
I know it's what you expect but the beds are small. Whole wetroom gets wet after a shower. Very small sachet of shampoo provided, not replenished. Can be noisy outside and very stuffy to have the window shut to combat the noise.
Friendly, helpful staff at the front desk Convenient central location in Aarhus, on the canal, close to pubs, shopping and meeting locations More clothes hangers in the closet than hotels usually provide (but a tiny closet for 2 guests)
We booked a Captain's Room for 2, the highest level of the 4 options offered by Cabinn. More spacious than a sleeping compartment on a train, but not by a lot. Cabinn Aarhus is expanding from 197 to 400 rooms. Construction began each morning around 7 a.m. with the early wake-up call of jackhammers.
Value for money
Poor wifi, bathroom facilities very basic
...like many other hotels: breakfast. you better save the money and stop by at one of the cafe's for a proper coffee and a bite.
Great location. Nice staff.
Could sleep well
Bare minimum of everything
Modern design hotel. Great location, easy access to the centre of town and main train station. Not all staff were friendly but I found Jenny at reception cheerful and helpful
Standard Room was too small for a couple. The single twin beds are too narrow and not suitable for large individuals. Beware that the cost of an upgrade is pretty steep! Rooms facing the canal - noise level is very high when windows are left open for ventilation late at night due to the parting at nearby pubs and restaurants (english and australian pub etc)
Good value for money. Friendly staff. Good location.
Very small rooms. Bathroom is even smaller. Poor sound insulation - you can hear people in the next room very well.
The position of the hotel is perfect for visiting the city. The staff was very kind and available. The price seems to be good compared to the Danish Hotel's prices
the room and the bathroom were very small, but I perfectly knew it and it wasn't a big problem because I stayed just for 1 night..
Good breakfast Location
WiFi didn't reach room Shower very small Stiff doors Electric goes off when leaving room
Friendly staff. Clean. Silent. Central location.
