Breakfast. Location. Staff.
Getting a bit dated.
The hotel is very well located, 5-10 minutes by walk form Nyhavn and Kogend Nytorv, as well as Metro station. The breakfast is one of the best I have never had in Copenhagen. The room are very quiet and confortable.
The small double room is very small. That's why we have decided to move in a standard double room for only 75 danish kroners more per night per room (quite 10Euro)
Feels like a home away from home (ok...I borrowed this explanation). Excellent breakfast.
Quality of pillows in my bed.
Location and breakfast buffet
Cold in the room
Coffee, biscuits etc always available in lounge
Slightly whiffy drains. Also suspect electrics in room.
Comfortable; clean; great breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; great location; good value for Copenhagen.
Tiny bathroom, which wouldn't be a problem but the shower area leaked into the rest of the bathroom floor so we had to mop it up with a towel every time we used it.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, wide selection of quality food for breakfast
Expensive, especially compared to the size of the room. Too soft mattresses in the beds (to my taste).
Staff were very friendly Great breakfast Lovely offering of free teas/coffees/pastries WiFi Location
Loud banging doors so can be hard to stay asleep all night Two small quilts rather than one for a double Tired decor
Friendly staff, location great, all main sights within easy walking distance. Bike hiring available at the Hotel.
Missed tea / coffee facilities in the room, however you could go down to the breakfast area where tea and coffee was freely available.
- location (no need to use public transport, nice walk from hotel to the city center 10-15 min; very close to Rosenborg Palce and the park, a great place to see) -breakfast (the food was delicious different kinds of bread, fruits, muesli, coffee etc etc) - coffee / tea / drinks available 24h - room clean, with TV and every what is needed, Everything depends from the expectations people have :) My expectations was to stay in hotel with good, quiet location, have a clean and comfortable place to sleep, with tasty breakfast. All of these was met. I would recommend.
Personally I think the price is pretty high. The room was OK, breakfast was great, location was really good, but nothing spectacular worth over 300 eur for 2 nights. But Copenhagen is quite expensive anyway, so I think hotel just adjusted the prices to the market. But still I would stay there again.
the staff were lovely, the breakfast was very good.
The room was very small and smelled of sewerage, to the point where we had to air room out, which didn't help. The beds were old and uncomfortable, pillows flat. Bathroom was tiny and didn't air out.
Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Hotel is in a quiet location and a 10 minute walk from metro station. It's only a short walk to city centre & Nyhavn. Very good breakfast with tea & coffee available all day.
We liked it so much that we have booked again for next year. nice and clean room, great breakfast. nice touch with a "Gammel Dansk".
Nice location, close to metro station, but in a quite area
Room was small. Not even space to place a suitcase. Just 1 electric soket in room
Location Friendly helpful staff Excellent breakfast Tea and coffee available at any time
Nothing. Everything was good
The staff was terrific and the breakfast was good (although the same every day). Price was as reasonable as you can get in a city that makes Switzerland seem like a bargain basement.
The bad element was the dumpster pick up early in the morning (5:30am) which woke us up. Also the neighbors throwing bottles etc into the dumpsters late at night.
Friendly staff. Particularly one of the staff was very good. Location is good. Close to most of the attractions.
We had a superior room - bit larger than some. Quiet location but convenient for buses into centre and a good restaurant (Madklubben) around the corner. Good choice at breakfast, helpful staff. We appreciated the free coffee/tea available at any time.
The location is good for all Copenhagen sightseeing. The hotel is clean and confortable (beds very comfortable) and provides a good range of food for breakfast. As an unexpected extra free coffee, juice and biscuits are available all day. Free pastries were also provided on most afternoons. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff very pleasant. Breakfast very good
The beds were cheap springs. The covers over them made them ok but still not very comfortable. Bedding was nice. Hotel hallways & bathrooms a bit run down
Nice clean bed linen and clean bathroom.
Lamps in bedroom not working. Poor sound insulation against noise of traffic in early morning.
Great location. Very central. Most main tourist sites within easy walking distance. Friendly staff and nice breakfast
The room we were in was the smallest we have ever stayed in.
Friendly staff who were accommodating
Having a shower with water not draining away.
No coffee making or ice in rooms
