Hotel is centrally located, 5 minutes walk to Nyhavn, but is in a quiet residential street so nice and quiet at night. Excellent breakfast and superior room was a very good size, which is rare in Copenhagen. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are offered.

Location. Location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts with good choice. Complimentary tea, coffee juice plus cookies or pastries in off-hours always available - refreshing bonus. Free wi-fi. Accommodation in Copenhagen expensive by North American standards, but this unimposing hotel is a comfortable place to stay without excessively high cost. Stay away from small double rooms on street side of hotel. Rooms very cramped, limited furniture and street noise during night not condusive to a good rest. We complained and were moved to larger room on back of hotel. It made all the difference in space, furniture and quietness.

Goed ontbijt (breakfast is great!) Forgot to clean our room one day - Forgot the babybed - Had to pay 25 euro extra to get a "bigger room" for the baby bed but in the end my room was smaler, only the bathroom was bigger. The shower is dangerous for a child because one minute it is hot water and the next it is cold.

The staff paid attention to our dear daughter. The location of the hotel, very close to the park made our stay a real pleasure. It is a good rate price/comfort hotel. I would have liked some more fruits&vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, red pepper) at lunch.

Quiet location in easy reach of sights, shopping, places to eat and the metro to and from the airport. Room warm and clean. Tea, coffee and snacks available at all times. Staff friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Christian IV which was booked as a surprise for my wife's birthday and also our wedding anniversary. All the staff were friendly and attentive, our room was just right for our needs and the location great for accessing the city and also getting from the airport. The buffet breakfast was well stocked and although our standard room did not have tea/coffee making facilities this was available with biscuits or pastries 24 hours in the lounge and dining area. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel.

I have paid my stay in this hotal from 13/11/2011 till 18/11/2011 by cash - Faktura number: 38019 Date 16.11.2011 After my departure on 18.11.2011 the hotel charged-off the same sum from my credit card !!!??? I send them the E-mail asking to return the sum on my credit cart without delay and also asked to to confirm the reception of my E-mail. Up to now (20.11.2011) no answer from the hotel. I am very much disappointment. The service in this hotel is very careless. Where esle should I address to settle this question ??? Yury Firsov

I valued very much the central location of the hotel. It was very peacefull and quiet, and I felt as if I were at home. The room was big and confortable. In the breakfast room, after a guest had left a table, the table cloth was not change, even if it was dirty, and you had to eat your breakfast there.

The hotel's location in a quiet street close to a gorgeous park, but only a 10 minute walk to Nyhaven was perfect for us. We had a room facing the courtyard on the ground floor with easy access. The breakfast was excellent and we found the staff friendly and helpful.

The breakfast and the free drinks. Also the location close to the city centre but in a quiet and pleasant environment close to the Rosenborg castle and parc. I was not successful to get wireless access to internet. The problem was not solved by the people of the hotel. The (bath)room needs some renovation, although all was properly functioning.

Nice to have tea and infusions in the evening for free. Nice surroundings, in city center but also close to a park and in a quiet area. Room a bit noisy with thin walls. Small bathroom with only shower. Price a biy high.

Excellent breakfast; tea/coffee and pastries were offered all afternoon in a lovely lounge; the locaton was good ... it was a bit of a hike to the station but it was near a lovely park and the castle and very close to all the shopping streets and restaurants. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating and helpful. The carpet was a bit gritty and the room smallish ... but not too bad really.

Nice breakfast. Helpful reception staff. Really friendly waitress in dining area at breakfast, very attentive and helpful. Great with children, she carves fruit sculptures and gave one to our daughter. She is totally overworked though and never seemed to stop while we were there. Management should really appreciate her and not let her be snapped up by other hotels! Breakfast can get a bit crowded. Avoid the 9-10 slot if possible.

The location was perfect for exploring Copenhagen. Almost all of the main sites are within walking distance and it took well under an hour to get to from the airport using the metro. We thought that the day and night coffee and tea availability is a very good idea. The room was comfortable and quiet. We hired bikes and enjoyed a day with them. We did feel that they were expensive for what they were but were impressed by the fact that helmets were supplied and a city cycling map. One bike had a very poor front brake. All of the staff were friendly and seemed to do a good job.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, the hotel was easy to locate from the city centre, it is in a quiet area. Having hot & cold drinks available 24 hours is great & the breakfast was very good. The rooms were older but adequate.

Good location but still at a quiet street. Garage (Q-park) In 100m. Small but clean rooms. Free WiFi Breakfast room was occasionally full and quite limited selection

breakfast was good, friendly staff, very good location very hot room, was a very warm day but over 24 degrees is bad. very loud even though there is only limited traffic outside, if you book get a room on the rear-side of the hotel.
