Christian iv is in a quiet neighborhood a few steps east of Rosenborg Slot. The street has very little traffic and no busses or trams. We had one of the larger doubles which had plenty of room for our us and our stuff. We saw one of the smaller doubles and there was just room to walk around the bed. Our room had a lot more space and was quite comfortable. The bathroom was large. At first I was a bit put off as it looked like a camp shower but then realized that the room it gave was much nicer than having a small glassed in shower with no room to bend over. The lobby has tea, coffee and cocoa available all day and is a great place to hang out at the end of a long day. There's also a computer and printer available which is a great bonus Breakfast is great with soft boiled eggs, hams, cheese, cereals and fruit. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. And even looked things up on the internet.

The staff tend to smoke at the entrance so that is unpleasant and can leave your hair and clothes reaking. The smoke also blows into the lobby and breakfast room. Move the smoking to the back door and i'd give this hotel 5 stars. We found if we went for breakfast after 8am that we had to wait for some of the food to be restocked and the melons were only available if you got their early. 2 of the staff (a younger woman and an older woman (possibly the owner?) were very short and seemed to be put out by questions.

Its central location between the vibrant Nyhavn area and the park at the Rosenborg Castle. The whole city centre is within a comfortable walking distance.

Despite having booked a non-smoking room we were given a room which had the stale stench of sigarettes throughout the room. Only at check-out were we informed that we could have asked for a room on another floor, as only the 3rd floor is a smoking-floor. Considering the little time we spent in the room, mostly at night with the windows open, it is not a huge issue, however it is nice to know for the next occasion.

I have paid my stay in this hotal from 13/11/2011 till 18/11/2011 by cash - Faktura number: 38019 Date 16.11.2011 After my departure on 18.11.2011 the hotel charged-off the same sum from my credit card !!!??? I send them the E-mail asking to return the sum on my credit cart without delay and also asked to to confirm the reception of my E-mail. Up to now (20.11.2011) no answer from the hotel. I am very much disappointment. The service in this hotel is very careless. Where esle should I address to settle this question ??? Yury Firsov

I valued very much the central location of the hotel. It was very peacefull and quiet, and I felt as if I were at home. The room was big and confortable.

In the breakfast room, after a guest had left a table, the table cloth was not change, even if it was dirty, and you had to eat your breakfast there.

Location. Location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts with good choice. Complimentary tea, coffee juice plus cookies or pastries in off-hours always available - refreshing bonus. Free wi-fi. Accommodation in Copenhagen expensive by North American standards, but this unimposing hotel is a comfortable place to stay without excessively high cost.

Stay away from small double rooms on street side of hotel. Rooms very cramped, limited furniture and street noise during night not condusive to a good rest. We complained and were moved to larger room on back of hotel. It made all the difference in space, furniture and quietness.

The staff paid attention to our dear daughter. The location of the hotel, very close to the park made our stay a real pleasure. It is a good rate price/comfort hotel.

I would have liked some more fruits&vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, red pepper) at lunch.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, the hotel was easy to locate from the city centre, it is in a quiet area. Having hot & cold drinks available 24 hours is great & the breakfast was very good. The rooms were older but adequate.

The hotel is in a good location with the beautiful Kings Park & Rosenburg Slot right on the doorstep. It has a lovely friendly feel, and with free tea, coffee & cakes always available, is homely. All the 'sights' are within easy walking distance. Great laundry facilities.

The rooms are quite small, and the Tv couldn't be seen from the sofa. The decor was quite plain in the room, but the breakfast room was fine.

Vi ville bo centralt men inte i red district. Närheten till Kongens Have (vi har ett litet barn) gjorde att vi valde hotellet. Vi är mycket nöjda. Frukosten var dessutom utsökt fin. Granne med hotellet ligger en riktigt bra restaurang.
