Ideally located in a central yet quiet Odense district, this hotel offers Danish and French cuisine, free Wi-Fi and a roof terrace with panoramic city views. Odense Station is 8 minutes’ walk. City Hotel Odense's modern guest rooms have simple yet comfortable furnishings. All include a TV, a work desk and a private bathroom with shower. Just a couple of minutes' walk from the main building is the hotel’s cosy restaurant, Den Gamle Kro. It is located in a half-timbered house from 1683 and has traditional décor with wooden paneling. Good room size for the prise.. Realy nice boiled eggs and nice Breakfast restaurant. Nice shover and a good bed. Nice and helpfull staff. The curtins were old an the room seemed worn out. But clean enough. There was bad smell in the room.

People were friendly and considerate. Our group consisted of five people from Fudan University in Shanghai China and we came to Odense to attend a conference on Hans Christian Andersen at South Denmark University. We felt moved when the hotel staff prepared five copies of the newspaper coverage of our academic activities in Odense before we checked out. This shows that the hotel people have paid much attention to details. Details determine success! Not really!

This hotel is close to the h c Anderson Museum which was our reason for visiting. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and deserves a special mention. Close to the town facilities for restaurants, etc.

It is a quiet place with friendly staff. it was also easy to find and near enough to walk to from the train station, and also within walking distance to the Hans Christian Andersen Museum and the shopping streets of Odense. I also like the availability of fruits, something that I always look out for during my travels.

Hotellet er velbeliggende. Personalet er venligt og effektivt. Vaerelset var veludstyret, rent og indbydende. Morgenbuffeten var passende / ikke for meget og ikke for lidt. Morgenmadspersonalet venligt og hjaelpsomt.

beliggenheden er rigtig fin, og dejligt med P-pladsen! Fin morgenbuffet med et godt udvalg. Dejligt med gratis varme drikke!! Støjen fra værelset ved siden af. Lidt træls at blive vækket midt om natten af naboens mobil der ringer. Vi hørte også på samtale en lang lørdag nat :-(

Det var nemt med morgenmaden. Personalet er opmærksomme og forsøger at hjælpe. Da vi kom og skulle parkere, var alt optage og personalet havde svært ved at henvise til alternative parkerings muligheder.
