Location was very good. Breakfast is expensive but complete. The beds are really soft, but comfortable. There's no fridge in the room… The rooms are quite small. Also the design feeling was only felt at the entrance. The shower was small as well, and the floor tiles need replacement (worn of). Also the drainage in the shower wasn't working well.

Very good location and at a reasonable cost The rooms are quite small. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This used to be freely available in the dining room but this is no-longer the case. The buffet in the evening was free of charge until very recently, but now must be paid for.

Hotel is located in the heart of the city, everywhere is at walking distance. We have stayed in twin bed room, beds and pillows were very very comfy and large sized. Hotels lobby bar and restaurant are very cozy decorated. Ice bar was a different experiance. Hotel was quite expensive, no minibar in the room, small room, very very small wc and Ikea furnitures in the room. Very bad odor was coming from the toilet. Rooms at the street side can be extremely loud and noisy during night time.

Our de luxe double room and location. We had booked with Booking Com to stay at Clarion Collection 27 Hotel in Copenhagen, so were very surprised when we couldn't find a Clarion in the street. We went into the First Hotel to enquire the whereabouts of the Clarion and were told it no longer existed but new management had just taken it over and it was now the First. We had our contract with Clarion Collection but Booking Com hadn't bothered to let us know. Much confusion on the part of the staff about what was available and what wasn'T. We were told in the dining room that no complimentary 24 hour tea and coffee was available (the machine was there the first day but was removed during the night) - we complained to reception and were told it was available! They arranged for a free latte for us and confirmed complimentary definitely was available (a notice on our floor (5th) also stated it was. Next day - same Only water available in the evening was at 25Kr a bottle - none at breakfast. Food was so so and not a good variety and dining room very crowded, fruit juice seemed to be watered down after the first day - we stayed 3 nights and it was most disappointing. We had stayed at the Clarion Collection in Bergen and Oslo and they were fantastic in all respects. Another anomaly with the First is that security swipe cards are required to use the lift but everyone and his dog can access the stairs to all the floors whenever!

Location, Location, Location. And the interior and the duvets and the pillows and the beds. Breakfast is good also. Bathrooms a bit small - shelfs made of glass and narrow bathrooms is a dangerous combination.. Some of the rooms are quite small too. I stayed at a de luxe room - very comfortable and spacious.

Good location. The music from the bar was way too loud. We were booked into a first floor room and the bed shook with the bass in the music. The staff was really nice about moving us to the 3rd floor but even then a little bit of the music could be heard. Bad building plan to have the dj booth and bar right below the hotel rooms. Hotel was advertised as design hotel but it is in bad need of renovation. Also most reviews on book.com mention a free breakfast and dinner buffet but this offer is only for a limited time. Receptionist was bitchy about explaining this. All in all, won't be staying here again.

Excellent location, close to the city centre Very easy check-in and check-out Informal atmosphere,no fuss or pretentions Friendly staff Nice breakfast Excellent buffet supper in the evening, much better than I had expected. Good selection of wines to try while having dinner Great view from our top floor room Breakfast area was very crowded from 08.00 >> 09.00, but we were warned bout this! Some noise from a nearby bar in the early hours of the morning, probably only a problem in rooms facing the street, or on the lower floors. We kept the window close because of this.

I enjoyed the excellent location, its exquisite, simple design (very Danish), excellent buffet and very friendly people! The elevator was sometimes a little weird, it would stop for no reason (they told me I was probably too close to the door, but I do not think so...).

Decent value for Copenhagen. The room (a single) was small but very well designed. Lovely breakfast. No thermostat in the room. While it was not cold in the room, I needed a bit more warmth to make up for the minus degrees outside. Had to ask reception for an extra blanket.

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Copenhagen is an expensive city and this hotel was good value for money. The restaurant is expensive for the quality of the meal and atmosphere. Take a walk into the city and try one of the many restaurants in te area.

Clean and charming hotell to stay at with great location. You can walk everywhere from here: the shopping street, Tivoli, most of the sights. I'd choose this hotel again. Breakfast and dinner buffet are no longer provided. Or they are but with separate cost - when we booked our stay they were still included in the room rates. At first we were told (friendly though) that we should pay for the breakfast but having shown them our booking confirmation they of course agreed us to join. The rooms are on the small side, but who spends their holiday inside a hotell room anyways ;) If you have a LOT of luggage this may not be the place for you though.

The Hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The decor of the hotel was trendy especially the bar which was a great place to enjoy a pre dinner drink or finish off the night with a cocktail. We enjoyed the choice at breakfast and especially the evening buffet which was very nice and good value. The rooms are small especially the bathroom but the comfortable bed more than made up for it. We would love to see Copenhagen in summertime and would have no hesitation staying here again. The hotel needs to provide tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel is located in the very centre of the city close to the Central station and all the attractions. As compared to Moscow the city is very cosy so everything is within walking distance. The staff is incredibly qualified friendly and helpful. The Hotel has got everything a visitor needs: free wi-fi, safe box, comfortable well-designed rooms with a very big and comfortable bed and big pillows which is a very rare thing at the hotels. The room was facing the yard so it was very quite. The meals were great especially the dinners which were included in our room price. It was a great option as restaurants in Copenhagen are rather expensive. It was so nice to relax in a cosy hotel restaurant with a big choice of wonderfully cooked dishes. We also visited the hotel's Ice bar which is very unusual and great fun. We definitely recommend the hotel to all visitors of the city. It's absolutely worth the money you spend especially with an early reservation.Special thanks to Luisa at the reception who helped us a lot with some problems and to the Chef who is great!!!
