Location, charming hotel and bat
Noise from the Streets.
It was a comfortable room, and they had made nicely up for our daughter. This didn't leave much room downstairs, but we were there for sleeping.
The room wasn't up to the cleanliness standard we expected. The floor needed a serious vacuum-cleaning for instance. Also, with the sleeper sofa out there really wasn't much space in the downstairs room.
Very close to the city centre
The waiter in restaurant Salt was good.
The room was a bit dirty i.e. the waste bin had not been emptied and there was a dirty towel on the floor. In the restaurant Salt I ordered a flank steak served with spinach. The spinach was extremely salty....almost not possible to eat.
The hotel - grain warehouse renovated in 1700 - is impressive, even in the interior (with suggestive old beams in sight). The location is good, close to Nyhavn and not far from the Stroget. This time we occupied a De Luxe Double Room: sufficiently spacious, very clean and definitely comfortable (only, it was a bit too hot the first night). The staff: friendly and efficient. Breakfast: varied and plentiful. The hotel's restaurant (Salt) - which we did not try - it is by the Michelin guide.
smell of damp in the room
We asked for another pillow but couldn't get one because they "were out of pillows".
The frontdesk staff were all helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. The waiters in SALT were attentive and friendly,as were the room cleaning staff. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Perfect location and the vue of the room was excellent but rooms need urgently renovation ...
old room ,very pricy .
Fantastic location and wonderful hertitage building, staff were very nice and room was very comfortable.
The mini bar prices are astronomical, I drank 2 bottles of water without checking the price (yes yes, stupid...I know) that coupled with the breakfast price for 2 and it totaled to almost the same as the price for the room per night. Leason learned, I knew Denmark was generally expensive , but some costs can still come as a shock. In saying all that I would stay there again.
The situation of the hotel was great, it proved to be a good point of access for many of the sights and an easy walk from the Metro upon arrival
Location, its history and being so old building
Breakfast was so poor ! Slipper werent available in the room but in charge! There should be sign on the ceiling showing qibla.
Location close to Nyhavn but away from noisy crowd. Beautifully designed lobby area.
Wooden blocks in rooms are in fact beautiful but extremely unpractical while moving around room. Expect a good hit, or two, as you unconsciously hot one of them especially if your tall. Carpet is stained. Breakfast choices are extremely limited for the price paid. You are better off with both quality and choice having breakfast at a nearby cafe.
Wonderful old building. Great rooms with smell of teak wood.
Room service was extremely fast and the food tasted very good. Breakfast is overpriced for the diversity they offer, however their staff is very polite.
We could not sleep at all on Saturday since there was some live music event late in the night in the lobby and the noise was very powerful in the room. We were not told that there is a party Saturday night and sleep will be impossible. Will not return or recommend this hotel due to this issue.
I do not like the noise early in the morning coming from outside
Location and interior style.
We know for a fact that on two mornings our glassses and cups were just kind of swilled in the room bathroom and left for us as "clean," which they certainly were not! We can´t have been the only guests subjected to this treatment, so we wonder what kind of people are employed here. We have stayed here on three occasions but may go somewhere else next time.
Bed in a two person accommodation was comfortable.. Staff were friendly and courteous.
The bed in their 4 people occupancy was not a real bed,but a sofa bed that was so uncomfortable that my friend and I hardly slept the first night. The pillow was flat as a pancake and the cushion was so thin that I woke up with a painful back and neck. The steps to the upstairs bedroom is so narrow that one can fall or slip easily if not careful. They only have buffet style breakfast so we had to find a breakfast place outside the hotel. The rooms facing the street was noisy with traffic and the fireworks from Tivoli garden scared us and woke us up at 2245 until 2300 . We thought Copenhagen was being bombarded.A heads up to guest should have been given.
Beautiful building with original wooden beams everywhere. Every room is different. Great ambience, especially in the bar (try the cocktail list). Perfect location for seeing everything in old Copenhagen.
Wi-fi coverage is poor. The restaurant is so successful that booking a table can be difficult
Great location, beautiful design, great views over the water!
Toilets should flush better!
Food, Reception Very friendly, great location.
Construction outside, no air conditioning, lack of adapters for electrical
Great location, remarkable building, nice bar
Although I stayed at Admiral three times, staff has no track record. They are clueless, no effective CRM. Breakfast has been a hugely crowded affair. Staff bordered on rude in an instance or two or maintain a bureaucratic attitude.
