Copenhagen Crown Hotel

Excellent breakfast (except juice), nice view from the windows of the room and the restaurant on the 5th floor, good hotel staff (especially the lady from the restaurant), good location

No parking place even for taxi, cold in the bathroom during winter

the staff is really friendly and the location is perfect.

the "copenhagen crown hotel" is actually the old "hotel ibis" (it seems that they only changed the name of the hotel), the indvidual rooms are really small, the furniture is old and poor, the walls need to be repainted and the fitted carpet to be changed, the bathroom also needs maintenance and it stinks because of the humidity, there is no hair dryer in the room nor in the bathroom like in a lowcost hotel, the orange juice at breakfast is any disgusting drink except juice, the breakfast is of poor quality, the rate of the hotel is too expensive for what the guest gets, this hotel does not desserve 3 stars (i would not even give it any single star at all), there are much better hotels closer to the central station and less expensive too!

This is a pretty good location if you want to be outside of the more touristy downtown area, but close enough to walk there easily. It's also set back nicely in a courtyard from the main street it's on. The staff was friendly and all spoke very good English. The breakfast spread was decent (not elaborate, but fine), and the 5th floor dining area is nice enough. Also eating out costs a fortune in CPH, so I strongly suggest trying the hotel breakfast!

The hallways and room (mine at least) could definitely use a renovation (bathroom was fine), and there were signs "excusing their appearance" as they are apparently working on renovating things right now. Bed wasn't so great either, but not terrible. As for value, it's just an expensive city so it's hard to compare without having stayed anywhere else. If you don't mind a simple place to sleep it will be okay – if you like your hotels fancy and new, maybe wait until they renovate.

Hot rooms: difficult to regulate heat in the room, tiny and noisy rooms, too far from city centre

The hotel is situated very centrally compared to Tivioli and the main pedestrian street of Copenhagen. Breakfast is good and the staff there is ensuring a filled buffet all the time despite of many guests at the same time.

We had a familiy room with a third bed - but that extra bed is not for very large people people - it works however with smaller children. It would be a good idea to prepare some coffee in advance as the coffeemachine is very slow and at times with many people at breakfast there is quite some waiting time.

Good situation, convenient for walking into town and for Tivoli Gardens. reaonable price for expensive city.

Needs more hooks in bathroom and a stool to sit on, nowhere to hang your clothes.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
