Copenhagen Island Hotel

We didn't like much other than the location which was very good, close to the S train and ventral Copenhagen

I didn't like that we had to queue for reception and then they forgot to do what we asked them. I didn't like that we had a very bright street light outside our ground floor room and window coverings that did nothing to block the light out - may well have been nice design but they were functionally useless. I didn't like that there was no coffee making facilities in the room

The international atmosphere, an in particular the easy access to and from. The reception crew was very helpfull in all kind of relations

Modern design of rooms, river view

The Hotel is new and built on the water. The Hotel is modern and well built. The location is just OK, The Internet service was free of charge.

The staff was not very polite, especially the ones on the front desk at night, they were very rude and very unprofessional. The rooms are too small.

A good hotel at a reasonable price. I liked the location of the restaurant for breakfast.

The hotel was not best placed for a short trip to Copenhagen as too far from centre of city and the main attractions if on foot.

The hotel is new and very well designed with excellent views on the haborside. They provide a very good breakfast buffet

The location is bit a far from tourist attractions and the centre of town unless you like a good hike.

The location and value for money

The view of the harbor was lovely. My allergy-free room was great. They gym was nicely equipped with beautiful view.

My room is very clean the first day, but after...not so good. Anyway, it's a hotel with quite good service and reasonable danish price.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. the staff were very helpful whenever we had any queries. We liked the hotel since 1) the one thing we really liked was that the rooms were cleaned daily. 2)The location of the hotel. It is located near the central station. there's a sub station near by. If u r a tourist, most of the places r within a traveling distance of 10-15 mins by bus/ train. 3) the view from the hotel room of the harbour was very pleasant to look at in the mornings. we would definitely stay in this hotel again if we go back to copehagen.

There is only one exit from the rooms to the reception. the lobby area is very narrow.

Very modern hotel with excellent breakfast

you have a choice of view from rooms either over harbour or over the city we asked for harbour view but were given city view when questioned at reception were told harbour view was 200 dk krone extra. No mention of this on booking.com

Convenient to downtown, either with tram or taxi. Very nice rooms and AC worked fine. The breakfast buffet was quite nice with wide variety. WiFi worked well in our room. Although we stayed on the road side of the hotel, we did not find it noisy at all.

Parking was not incl. but paid around 10€ extra in a ‘public’ lot in front of hotel. The spaces fill up early so don’t wait if you need one. Used dishes from room service stayed in the hallway most of the day. And yes, the bicycle is still in the canal in front of the hotel.
