There was a quaint old elevator there. In the next morning of our arrival the water flow in toilet became very poor. After our complaints to the front, they checked and found difficult to repair and let us change to the higher ranked room. To add, we could have soft drink service at their Library Bar. The water flow of shower rooms are both not enough. Bath towels had stains though they had surely cleaned.

1. Excellent location walkable to main attractions including Tivoli Gardens and is across from Central Train Station 2. Breakfast buffet is included in room price and is excellent 3. Free Wireless access is included throughout hotel 4. Hotel staff are very friendly and try their best to accommodate 5. Lots of good restaurants walkable from hotel 6. Hotel restaurant offered well prepared food at reasonable prices 7. Library Bar is pretty awesome for relaxing and having a drink. 8. Overall, hotel is good value for the price in this central location. 1. While Hotel staff are friendly and try to accommodate they are not very knowledgeable -- did not know much about U.S. voltage adaptors. Restaurant recommended was poor and expensive. 2. Rooms are just OK -- bathrooms spartan, outlet in bedroom broken, safe missing, decor passable, beds pretty comfortable but linens not "luxurious."

Ideal position for Tivoli and the main shopping district The only bar in the hotel seems to close for Private Functions quite often it seems, as happened to us. The room, although clean, was pretty poor value for money and really in need of an update and the Breakfasts were uninspiring. All that fabulous Danish Design and this was chintz! Having said all that it is in a great position and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was there in the lead up to Christmas and the hotel was decorated beautifully. There was a tree in the middle of the lobby, and another one in the library bar. Christmas carols were played throughout the dining room, bar, lobby and elevator, which gave the hotel a very friendly atmosphere. The hotel was close to everything, you could easily walk to most places around Copenhagen, however there was public transport easily accessible for those who would prefer. The rooms were a decent size and had the softest bed imaginable. The bathroom floor was heated, which was appreciated when it was zero degrees outside. The bathroom itself was a good size, and had been refurbished recently. The library bar was beautiful and a wonderfully relaxing place to drink after a long day of walking. The only issue, although it didn't bother me too much, was that it was right next to the train tracks. It looked a little further away on the maps. However, the sound wasn't too bad, more of a rumble than anything else. However, if you a light sleeper you may need to take this into consideration and ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Traditional hotel which has a good location towards the center of the city and the main attractions. Offers the good service and rich breakfasts. The hotel is located close to the Central station if you have railways view you can hear the noise from the trains.

The location can hardly be better if you are interested in Copenhagen center. The staff are friendly and efficient. All in all it is a fair place to stay at. This hotel used to be very high class but now desperately needs to be refurbished, It has a run-down feeling that was not before. The rooms are small but comfortable but all furnishings need to be renewed.

the hotel is in a very good position opposite the Tivoli and 5 minutes from the main shopping streets. it is also opposite the main station with only 12 minutes away from the airport by train - very convenient! the bar is certainly the high light of the hotel and needs to be visited. in total the hotel is OK for a business trip or a weekend. I would say it is not the best hotel with small children. the hotel is dated and you can see that. I had a nice room facing the court yard but you can still hear the trains from the main station just opposite. the air condition is noisy and the bath room has no heating. if you are not a heavy breakfast eater than the offering is OK.

The location was perfect, breakfasts very good, bed very comfortable, room very spacious and comfortable. The bar was also well run. The pillows were very slight and uncomfortable. The hallways were a bit drab but the rooms more than made up for this.

Nicely decorated rooms. Very close to Copenhagen Central Station. Tidiness and cleanliness ok, but could have been better, especially bathroom. Breakfast also ok, but a little more selection would have been nice. The coffee was not good. The hotel also demanded a 3500 dkk deposit from my credit card, even though the room was prepaid - a very unusual practice and high amount for a three-night stay.

very quaint and comfortable and clean, friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay again. Great location. They fulilled my request for a room with a view of Tivoli. The breakfast was quite limited and they couldn't provide non-lactose or soy milk. Also the beer in the fridge was stale, so a little more attention to detail such as this might be beneficial.

Wonderful location; good sound proofing - could not hear noise from streets. Breakfast open until 11:30 on weekends, which is really great. Staff not particularly helpful or knowledgeable - refused to allows us even 30 minutes extra for check-in or check-out. They collect a 500 dkk per day "security deposit" that is immediately charged to your credit card (that they do not mention in the booking page). However, they are not very quick at refunding it when you check-out of the hotel. Power outlets are very inconvenient - you really cannot charge your laptop or mobile phone on any other outlet than at the work desk.
