The apartment is big and confortable for 5 People. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of restaurants around the apartment.
There was a supermarket nearby and all the needed equipment in the kitchen Free Wi-Fi is always a plus Bus Stop - 1 minute away
Not that central location but 15 minutes away from Railway Station Not that clean For 6 people, the apartment was not big enough, we could have used more space
Located in a quiet area of Vesrerbro off the main street. We were a family of four adults and the apartment was spacious and facilities good. We hired a car, and Soren at reception sold us day passes to park it for 35 DKK per day (about $7.00) in nearby Frederiksberg area. Walked everywhere - Little mermaid, Palace, Nyhavn, Tivoli Gardens and Town Hall. Supermarkets nearby.
As noted by other visitors, the apartments are having a facelift soon as currently they are looking tired. Bedroom curtains were a bit flimsy and let the light through
Really good place close to the center of Copenhagen. Large and elegant apartment. Friendly and really flexible staff. All what we needed. We will be happy to come again! :)
As a family of six we returned to the same ground floor Apartment for 2 nights after Baltic Cruise. Previously stayed 3 nights before Cruise. Enjoyed coming back as location is perfect for exploring Copenhagen. Also many choices for dining and supermarkets close by. We had arranged for an early check in and it was no trouble at all to arrange. The staff are very easy to deal with and right from the initial enquiry through to our arrival they where most helpful. Instructions re arrival where clear and precise. Free WiFi was brilliant. Would stay again.
Points as raised in earlier review. The positives greatly out wayed the negatives.
Close to center of town!
Little tricky to find!
We stayed as a family of 5 adults and a 13 year old in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. We first had 3 nights in August 2014 pre cruise and then another 2 nights after our 11 night Baltic Cruise. We also was able to have early access to Apartment on return from Cruise. Greatly appreciated. John who was in office was very helpful and nothing we asked for was a problem. Apartment clean and tidy although they are a little tired looking in no way are they uninviting. In fact we where pleasantly surprised after some of the reviews we had read. Apartment centrally heated. The price for a family such as ours was very reasonable and apartment was spacious enough for all of us. Location Positioned close to all facility's just back from a main road, with many supermarkets and food outlets. Apartment quite very little traffic passes apartment and when windows are closed very quite. We walked to most locations including Palace, Nyhavn. Central Rail Station easy walk as is the Visitor Centre and Tivoli Gardens. Recommend hop on hop of bus to experience locations. Would stay here again in a ground floor Apartment. Be advised there is no lift so unless you don't mind hauling luggage up to 5 floors opt for ground floor.
Fold out couch outdated and mattress on floor. (Rollout or fold away bed would be so much better) Thicker curtains needed as curtains do not block out street lights, no shelves in bathroom ( easily overcome by moved one of coffee tables into use). Flooring in passage way creaks and moans when walked on and at night very noisy as you pass 2nd bed room to access bathroom. Have been advised that all apartments will shortly undergo renovation and upgrade.
Position was good being within walking distance of the Central Station and close to buses. There were plenty of nearby restuarants.
Basic kitchen equipment with little bench space. Some information on buses and location of super- markets could be of use.
excellent service/staff. Great location in quiet side-street. close to city center, 15 min walk to tivoli. Easy access. Large apartment with two bedrooms, plenty of space for couple traveling with children aged 1, 3 and 9. Baby chairs, bed and bathtub were provided. Tv, wi-fi and kitchen corner with the needed equipment. Big supermarket nearby.
Bathroom was functioning, but in need of upgrade. Expensive parking in the street. Hotel staff informed us of cheaper parking nearby, but we were traveling with small children and the comfort of having the car nearby was prioritized. Unfortunately cleaning was lacking because of illness and inexperienced backup cleaner, but staff handled the issue well and we were satisfied with the compensation.
Big appartment, many nice restaurants very close.
Only very light curtains, it gets bright very early in the morning in summer.
Very spacious. Very close to Tivoli and other attractions.
Hardware to keep windows open was broken on 80% of the windows. A hipster neighborhood that was loud on Friday and Sat nights. Would be quieter I suspect during the week.
It tended to be a very noisy location at night.
We stayed from 25th May to 27th May 2014. We were unable to find the Apartment because there was no signboard/ nameboard on the Building. On the catrary the name on the Building was HOTEL WESTEND. Hence we were confused and were searching Apartment for 30 minutes. The bedroom and bathroom door was not proper. The old guests had left their garbage which was not cleaned. The Apartment has charged extra amount apart for the booking amount saying that it is credit card fees. This was not communicated to us before making the payment. Overall CPH Apartment is worst to stay and not at all value for money
The location is good. Close to Tivoli Garden & train station. Price is affordable.
There is no elevator in the building. Taking the luggage up to the 4/F is a challenge.
The staff on site was very kind. The location is a bit far away from the city centre, but is good enough.
The person who manages the money was awful. Although I wanted to pay by cash, she drew money from my credit card without asking anything. A bit costly for university students.
Very good location, close to centrum and big super market. The apartment is good for young people;)
No glases (not one the same) could at least be 6 vine glasses the same or 6 water glasses the same. The bed linnen was worn out and need replacing. The noise from the windows when it's windy.
Convenient location to Central Station, 15 minute walk to pedestrian area, plenty of shops, bars and international restaurants in the area
The apartment is in a great part of town.
The flat we were given had a serious black mold problem in the bathroom. Aside from that, it wasn't bad.
Close to supermarket, bus stop, city center. Quiet environment without feeling unsafe.
Definitely need to be renovated. Overall everything was okay, but it's all a bit old and used, makes the place feels unclean and uncomfortable: mold in the bathroom, blood stains in bed linnen, a lot of dust everywhere...
Their responsiveness to our onsite requests Location is great Helpful staff
Kitchen needs to be better supplied
Good location close to supermarkets, buses and city centre. Staff was there for any assistance taxi calls to the airport.
Damp in the bathroom, not enough cups, wine glasses. Thin walls.
We liked that it slept five adults for a budget friendly price; it is located within walking distance of a number of attractions and amenities. The office staff member was quite helpful in arranging a 'large capacity' taxi for us.
The garbage truck that collected at 6am each morning.
Great beds, nice place, great solution with the key. We were a group of 5 in one apartment and visited copenhagen to go to a consert, partying and shopping.
To the price we paid, (~600eur for 3 nights) it was a great value. We were 2 couple that shared the place and the money so would never get anything close to that for 300eur for the stay. Close to city center, 15 mins walk or bus 26. Big supermarket nearby. Easy access (getting the key is with a code with a safe). Easy access from the high ways. Not that it's close or anything, but since its not exactly city center its very easy to access with a car. Overall i would definitly recommend this hotel. And even with all the downs that i've mentioned, i'd come there again when i'll be in copenhagen next time.
RED area = no free or day parking. All parking places are to be paid as hour tickes and its gets really really expensive. However, we parked about 10mins walk from the apartment (small streets north of the apartment), costs 35dkk for a day so it was relatively comfortable. The euipment in the apartement (33) was a bit old. Not broken or anything but just a bit old and needs a bit of paint here an there. They charge 50eur extra if you decide to pay in eur. 3.3% for credit card - so we paid in cash, withdrew money from the ATM nearby (on the main road).
