Hotel Dagmar    

Coming from Australia we had enjoyed location, old age of the building, history that came with it etc. Very unique experience simply not available in my country. The food in the restaurant was fantastic.

Your problem is service, it is simply not there. We wanted to get a drink before dinner. We asked a passing by waitress for it. We went downstairs to the bar to ask. Eventually we asked for it at the reception. It took 25min before we got it. In the restaurant after main course no one attended to us for 1 hour to offer coffee or desert. At the end of that time my wife went into the kitchen and asked for it. We came to the restaurant at 19:30. Coffee got served at 22:45. That's is too long for just a main course and coffee. Also, the shower was dirty. Hair in the shower drain left from the previous customer. Maybe worth while to change your pillows. They were small and felt old. You could feel lumps inside. Maybe we got wrong pillows as they were sitting in very big pillow cases, much, much bigger then the pillows themselves.

Ribe is one of the oldest towns in Denmark, the night watchman walk is excellent and informative taking you through lovely old streets and buildings and explaining their history without too much information. V good

It was a very old hotel, the oldest in Ribe and so we loved the 'Old Worldly' atmosphere and ambience of the hotel.

Everything! It was the favorite hotel of the trip! Beautiful, quaint, lovely.

The staff of the hotel was profesional and friendly. Good breakfast.

The hotel is closed starting at 22:00 but nobody advised us about this issue!

The only thing I could criticise was the size of the fridge.

Known and used the hotel in the far past, and still find it a very cosy place to enjoy an excelent dinner an stay overnight

Location at the center of the town, the old facion and charm of the hotel !

The Dagmar has loads of character and is very well situated right at the ehart of Ribe.

Obviously, the Dagmar is a very old hotel and we felt the rooms could have done with an update-which is not to say that they weren't perectly comfortable, just a bit tired.

Pleasant change from normal hotel chains. Excellent staff, friendly wifi through out.

No clothes (dry) cleaning services.

Nice atmosphere. Great staff.

Miss telephone in room. Luggage elevator would be an improvement. Modern queen beds desirable.

The hotel is in a great location in a lovely little town, Ribe. There is easy access to train station and local buses. Excellent meals in the dining room. This is billed as the oldest hotel in Denmark, and knowing that, one can forgive the sloping floors in the bedroom. The decor is quaint and 'historic'

It is a nice hotel in a stunning small town. Staff were so professional and very helpful and nice. The beds are very small though, although our room (the most expensive bracket) was a good size, with a mini bar and good powerful shower. Ribe is a very small place, so there is not much on offer in the way of accommodation, but I would recommend this as the place to stay in.

We just felt the beds were too small and it is rather expensive, but we enjoyed it very much and we would go back there again if we returned to Ribe.

Good location. Wonderful if you like old buildings.

No coffee or tea making facilities. Could order as room service but this costs.

Uitstekende ligging en prachtig kader.

Geboekt met promotie in vooruitbetaling en bevestigd. Bij uitchecken werd toch het volledige (normale bedrag) aangerekend. Na discussie geregeld.

Det er så dejligt at blive vækket til domkirkens klokkespil.

Die nostalgische Einrichtung das alte schiefe Haus war sehr lustig und urig. Es hat etwas romantisches. Speisesaal war irgendwie britisch eingerichtet.

Wir reisten mit unserer Tochter 6Jahre und es wurde uns kein Zustellbett augfgebaut. Wir mußten in einem sehr kleinen Doppelbett zu dritt schlafen. Frühstück war überschaubar. Keine offene Marmelade...etc. Parkplatz kostet extra.

Perfekt läge. Pietetsfullt renoverat. God frukost.

Beliggenheten og atmosfæren i de gamle veggene, nydelige, litt skjeve fellesrom. Men det finnes et like skjevt hotell over gaten til en tredel av prisen (dusj på gangen).

at det er blitt veldig loslitt og bærer preg av mye tilfeldig lapping på tak og vegger. Hotellet ER gammelt, men høydeforskjeller på over 20 cm i et rom og digre sprekker i tak og vegger er ikke nødvendig eller ønskelig til de prisene.
