The walls of the bathroom needs to be kept clean from mucur.
The beds are good and the breakfast was quite nice. The availability was also quite convenient as we were a large group (12+ people).
When we arrived, the rooms were not clean. That was solved after some time but did cause some nuisance. Also, the bedsheets are not included in the price. This is ok in itself, but it could have been better explained during the booking. All in all, with breakfast and bedsheets the price comes quite close to the price of normal hotels.
helpful staff clean good breakfast
we had some difficulty locating the hostel
It is a nice location close to town. The layout, with a courtyard, is really nice and light/green. There is a kitchen you can use yourself (we didnt). Breakfast has lots of choices, fruit/berries etc, but cost extra.
The hotel is from the 1980s, and not much has happened inside. There was only two functional 230 volt outlets in the room - which is inadequate when you have to charge phones etc for 4 persons. I didn't read the fine print that you had to rent a bedsheet/towel (it is a hostel), and adding that the price of the room increased almost 50%. So beware of that. Also there is no soap in the bathroom, and the shower head is poor. Lastly I didn't appreciate being charged to use my creditcard (it should be said somewhere that they add 4-5% to the bill for that service). So we ended up paying too much for too little.
Food, facilities, staff
The internet connection was poor in the room.
the common areas greenery space breakfast the building itself
wornout furniture the tube instead of a real shower the grey color (matress, duvet, pillow - did not look clean) pretty expensive for the offer
Serene and pleasant.
Bathroom facilities, no hot water early in the morning
Very good breakfast
Room, kitchen etc. basic and quite worn
Expensive, no staff available when we arrived mid-afternoon
Big room looking onto flowering trees.
Underground kitchen was not very pleasant and to eat there would be depressing.
After our arrival we have discovered that we had to "rent" for an additional fee all the bedclothes. The WiFi was not working and the TV which was as well advertised as incl. in the room price had only two channels available both in danish language so there was not so much to do around there. The location was full of school kids which were running all around the place. The bathroom was without soap.. All in all it looked like a place where homeless people would sleep but the difference was that we had to pay for it..
Very nice rooms with your own toilet and separate shower Great breakfast...
floor was dirty in the room, and it's very basic hostel accomodation - fair enough, but not really 450,- a night quality. And extra if you don't have bed linnen. And check out at 10 am is early.
The very minimum I expect from a hotel is warm water to shower with in the morning. So regardless of the other services provided.. .. The lasting memory of this place will be of a ice cold shower at 0600 hrs!!!
Friendly staff, excellent sleep, close to town and a great price.
staff was ok - but that's all it has.
First. Impossible to sleep - noises and knocks from the heating system. They did not clean my room - I slept like a bum first night among somebody's mess and in dirty linin. Water was leaking beneath the sink. I was lucky to find better place. Its too expensive for its price!!! I feel bad about the stay! And I feel robbed!
