Great pool and very good breakfast
Friendly hotel staff
Trains make it noisy Single beds I had a disabled room, bathroom was basic with no amenities .
the staff was very helpful and pleasant. the room was spacious though spartan bathroom again was Spartan but very spacious breakfast was bit mean especially for the non meat eaters only two types of cheeses and the fruit selection was poor
no extras ie no real coffee/tea making facilities in the room the view from my room was pretty bleak
The room, it is very plain.
too close to railway track, not easy to fall a sleep
Staff was friendly and tried to help. The location is very good and easily accessible with car. The hotel situated very close to main sights of Copenhagen.
The weather was hot (around 30 °C) and ventilation system did not work. Staff provided us with a fun to place it on opened window but it was not enough and it was too hot for good sleeping. The rooms were smaller than one would guess on base of the photos. The bathroom seems outdated and some degradation of interior decorations was noticeable. The lobby of the hotel is very basic and not equipped with chairs. The parking is not in the hotel building and luggage transport is not so easy. The railroad is very close and train noise one can easily hear in some rooms.
Breakfast and the GREAT pool facility.
Noise from the trains.
good selection of food
swimming pool , and breakfast and also room is bigger .
room not air conditions, no freeze ,
Location and nearness to the central station, room size is good, toilet supplies (dove) was a pleasant addition
Breakfast was boring and limited, no ac so cannot sleep with open window if it gets warm due to train tracks noise, beds are not very comfortable
No aircondition very noisy road and railway
Pool. Good Location to Tivoli garden
Staff didn't help us while we need and when thinked they could do it. No air condition in the room. And noisy atmosphere behinds the window because of train rails.
Good location felt a bit like film set cos out rooms faced the railway ... No problem with noise from trains or other guests. Staff were lovely & helpful
Needed air con or bigger fans!
noise of trains, it was little hot without a.c
It is really well located and in general a really nice hotel.
Even though it was summer the central heating system was on forcing us to sleep with windows open and ventilator on.
We found this hotel a good choice, but not fantastic. In pictures everything looks better but in real life we found the hotel outdated. It really needs to be revamp. I mean, it was fairly clean and we had the basic ( the hair dryer is in the dressing, not in the bathroom, in the beginning I thought that we don't have one), but it looks like a hospital, especially on the hallway. Still, it was very well located. It is only five minutes walk from Tivoli. In ten minutes you will find yourself in the touristic area. Traveling with kids, we had to come back to hotel pretty early in the evening. After a while they said they wanted to eat and we wonder in the neighborhood to find something to eat. When you get out the hotel and walk straight ahead for four min you will reach a nice peaceful place with plenty of restaurants. We stopped at the first one every single evening. The food is delicious and the prices are better then in the touristic area. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. It was the same every single day, but we could find something good for everyone of us. Apart from the usual, they had a great selection of fruits and this was a bonus. I traveled in other northern countries like Ireland or UK and I really missed fruits for breakfast. The great thing about this hotel, apart the good location was the free entry to all the spa and swimming facilities. You just have to take tickets from the reception every day, free of charge. They have a playing room just across the reception which kept the kids entertained in the evening. Everybody speaks english and this is useful because every sign is in Danish :) So, I would say that this is a good option for families, taking into account the location near Tivoli and the playing/swimming facilities. It is good value for money. I would recommend this hotel, just do not expect too much from it.
One bad thing it was that it was very, very hot ( it was july) and there is no A/C, just a fan which is not too efficient. We tried to sleep with the window open but there was noise from the trains.
there was evertything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay
Great being so close to downtown and being able to swim before breakfast.
Swimming pool attached, which we learnt we could have used without staying in the hotel for less than 70k per visit.
Room was like a hostel and very small, window was one of those that don't open just fall fwd a little - hence room was far too hot for 4 people. Had a fan which was noisy but room was so hot we had to leave it on all night. Shower didn't work properly, room very dated and just horrible. Next to kettle was a note stating if you fancy tea or coffee, pls buy a kit from reception for 20dkk, after paying 2500SKK for the room - that was just an insult.Trains very near so too noisy to open the window. Breakfast was horrid, juice warm, very little choice, only cheese was edam slice so thing you could see through it and it was plastic wrapped. The staff were simple and unhelpful - they seemed to amuse themselves by asking questions on the pool but failing to mention you need to get a voucher from them, hence lots of residents trekking from the pool back to reception. We stayed in 5 hotels over 8 nights - this was by far the worst and the most expensive - I will be complaining.
The location is right by Central Station which means that you can hop right off the train and get to your hotel. This also means that you hear the trains all night long. The rooms had everything we needed but was in desperate need of a good clean. It was quite dusty and the bathroom was a bit dirty. The shower curtain is not long enough so water spills out into the bathroom. The free wifi and breakfast were GREAT!
There is NOT conditionated air for a Hotel with this category. We are really surprised. From Madrid, Spain
The location was very convenient to the main train station, Tivoli, and the museum. Free access to the swimming pool next door with diving boards, climbing walls, and a water trampoline made it a top pick for my family. The breakfast was generous and tasty and served in clean, attractive surroundings. The wifi was strong and free.
The squeaking wheels of the trains made it too loud to sleep without interruption with the windows open. It was stuffy when the windows were closed, but they provided a fan in the room.
Great location. Nice European breakfast buffet. Lovely artworks. Nice balcony.
The beds were too soft, uncomfortable and of low quality. Pillows no good.
Dgi byens hotel is a sauna in a public bath. It's 30 degrees hot and absolutely no ventilation what so ever. You can´t even breathe It is like sleeping in a sauna. Do not go there!!!!!!
The swimming pool with the spa zone and the gym was included on the price.
The breakfast was a bit poor. There was not olive oil.
