Excellent staff and rooms. No laundry service. Extremely loud at night due to location. Must wear earplugs to sleep as loud all nightclubs are partying from 12am - 5am.

Location & restaurant were assets. Room looked used, Windows were unwashed, windowhasps were missing. Very little noise reduction compared to being located next to a "party"street.

It is a very nice facility, with very friendly staff. On the weekends (in particular) a little noisy, because of the "entertainment district"

The Ferdinand is a hotel and apartments. We stayed in the fully self contained apartment on the top floor (5th) which was excellent base for us. it Had everything we needed, kitchen and laundry as well. Was comfortable modern and roomy, like a studio apartment. It was in the bar district of Aarhus and there were ear plugs provided in the room. but it wasn't too bad, we had good sleep most nights, Thursday to Sunday were the busiest nights, and we found the early morning rubbish removal across the cobble stones more annoying than the bar noise. Easy fix here is to lay bitumen across the cobbles to reduce the noise. We were very happy with our stay over all, it's just something to be aware of.

It was a great stay, I have found "my" hotel in Aarhus now! Excellent service and happy, smiling and helpful staff. Excellent brasserie-style food (dinner). Wonderful breakfast - simple, yet homecooked and fresh. Room was perfect - luxurious and comfortable - nice working conditions, wireless worked perfectly. Nespresso machine in room was a nice touch, and minibar was very nicely stocked with good items. I am definately coming back!

Friendly staff, located in city centre, affordable price. Very very very noisy, I hardly slept more than 2 hours. People were coming in and out of the bars around the hotel and were chatting sooo loud.

Really central in downtown Aarhus. Fairly well furnished little studio which was just what we needed for a longish stay. Comfortable bed, flat screen tv to watch the Olympics on,and a useful little kitchenette that saved us having to buy breakfast every day. It is the downside of the central situation, the noise at night is horrendous, and gets worse towards the weekend. The hotel supplies earplugs, which helps quite a bit, but you need to be a sound sleeper to get through the weekend.

The suite was spacious. The staff were not helpful. The entrance to the hotel was through the dining area of the brasserie. There was a flight of stairs to negotiate after the elevator reached the second floor. There was no telephone in the room so one had to walk down to reception for "room service". There was no desk to work at. The noise from the nightclubs opposite was unbearable on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

It was right in the city centre and next to good parking areas. They provide ear plugs. It should be called Brasserie and Hotel rather than viceversa. There was only reception service during restaurant working hours and it was dealt with at the restaurant. The rooms are facing the busiest nightlife in Aarhus but they are very poorly soundproofed. We were woken up by daylight before we stoped hearing the music and screams from outside.

The hotel is in the city centre and not far from the railway station. We stayed in a suite, which was nice and clean. There is a night club almost in front of the hotel and the street is very noisy at night. The hotel provides ear plugs, so if you like using them, you may be ok; otherwise you may not be able to fall asleep. We were not able to leave our luggage on our departure day as it was Sunday and the reception is closed on Sundays.
