The morning table was quite nice. The room I stayed in was spacious, and the bath comfortable. Good atmosphere, classic and not run down.

The room temperature was a bit high.

Standard room is small and poky - a dissapointment as there was no indication of this on website. If you stay here upgrade to Deluxe or go elsewhere.

The food was superb and the staff very friendly. Good location.

Dirty toilet, run down furnishings, cleaners walking in to room at odd times, breakfast room far too hot, lift broken and seems to have been for at least six months, wi-if tedious to log in to... Needs a big make-over.

Loved the attentive staff, especially the helpfully reception staff who were excellent, the hotel was beauitfull to look at, wonderfull orgininal features and fantstic staircase. Close to the town and train/bus station. Breakfast was superberb

location is excellent, 7 mins walk to the station, 5 mins to HC Andersen museum, 3 mins to the shopping district. Staff are extremely friendlily and helpful. There is a machine stand especially for train DSB inform. Grand, but need to refurnish.

Breakfast is ok, not particularly special.

We loved the location and atmosphere of this hotel. Located in an old red brick building on the edge of the pedestrian section of Odense made it an ideal location for us. There are lots of shopping and eating establishments near by. The hotel atmosphere was one of our favorite things about the place. Crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, wood floors and Danish old world charm made the place very cozy and comfortable for us. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was great. We would stay at this hotel again.

Couple of little things could be improved. The room lighting was a bit dim especially in the bathroom. The room vas sparsely furnished, but that is typical Danish hotel style. Several light bulbs were burned out in the chandeliers in the dining room and many shades were burned as well. Made the place look a bit shabby. For a Danish hotel in the center of Odense this was a great value.

The rooms was reasonable compared to the price.

The service at the Hotel was fare from what I would expect at a 4 star hotel. We couldn't get a tabel at the restaurant and was only offered help to find alternatives opon my own request. Room service with a compliment was not offered. Breakfast was overbooked with many customer not staying at the hotel. This meant a waiting time of 20-25 min. to get a tabel to have breakfast and a delay to our schedule. This will have the consequense that I will not select First Hotels at my first choice in the future.

Clean, modern

Parking.... the car park is 50m down the road from the Hotel, but you need to checkin first befroe you can park. BUT THERE IS NO WHERE TO PARK IN THE VICINITY BEFORE YOU CHECKIN!!! The room was comfortable but small, many of the cheaper options in the city can offer the same at a much lower price

I stayed in a executive room and was very disapointed with the quality of the bathroom. The bathroom is probably not anymore renovated since 20 years (completely outdated) and not looking very clean.

When we checked in we found that the elevator was not working. The young woman at the front desk seemed to be unaware of this. I read on a review site that someone else commented on their disappointment of a non- working elevator. It leaves me wondering if this is a common occurrence. Our bags were heavy as we have been traveling for a month. I asked if there was some to take our bags up to the top floor. She said there wasn't and re-booked us into a first floor room. It was an upgrade. I thought that was a decent gesture for dealing with the situation.

Rooms were great. Perfect place to relax after a tiring day. Heart of city.

Scratched wooden surface of the rooms, poor taste in decorating the room (very modern bed and table with old and worn-out couches). Only elevator of the hotel out of order for a while. View of the room on the large emergency exit and stairs. We would not rate this place as a four-star hotel.
