Score from 1855 reviews Good
The hotel is in a good position close to the rail and metro station and with good bus links. We were able to have a good breakfast and could have had coffee all day! A lovely large room and comfortable bed. Very helpful and friendly staff.
There was a problem with the heating in our room which despite informing the staff was not fixed - the room was cold.
Location was good Staff were friendly and helpful Breakfast was good
Price for the room type Old and outdated
Enjoyed the breakfast but missed the traditional danish rundstykker
we found the bathroom a little small
Location. Service. Value for Money.
front desk under staffed. bath rooms very SMALL.
Staff and Breakfast
lack of flexibility for laundry, no safe in the room and bad pillows
The bed and bed linen are excellent quality.
Location - opposite strip club.
On my second eve, my old cup of tea as well as the empty cola bottle were both still on my working desk.
-pillows too soft -wifi setup, you need to login with separate credentials on each device
Safe location even if across from a 'gentlemen's club,' well situated near train station (leave station from Starbucks exit, turn left at the main road in front of you, it's two short blocks away catercorner from a large kebab house) and walking distance from Copenhagen highlights, friendly and helpful staff, rooms with hard wood floors if you have allergies.
I developed allergies on my first night (something that has never happened to me before in a hotel room and I don't know what caused them), but I got a new room with wood floors the next morning and all was well for the rest of my trip. Oddly placed lights and hardly any electrical outlets in my second room (the first was actually well appointed).
The hotel was a really modern and clean. Room and bed was comfortable. Our room was facing the street and we didn't hear any noise.
The minibar wasn't fully stocked on arrival so we were charged for items that we didn't have, but this was rectified by one of the lovely staff! I wish I had gotten her name!
1. very small room 2. tiny bathroom - never seen anything like this. not enough place for 1 person, got bruises all over 3. rude staff at reception. always one person there and you have to wait a long time 4. the free wi-fi was a joke - they have codes that don't work and you have to go and ask for another code twice or more a day! so stupid
good wifi connection good location
too expensive faulty lamp was not fixed despite notice
Need a fan or aircon.. Too warm
Very friendly, helpful staff. Stylish bedroom. Good breakfast. Great central location just 5 minutes walk from Tivoli and the station.
Position. Stylish surroundings. Wonderful staff.
Young woman at the reception was unprofessional and rude when checking-in. Will never go again to this hotel which I have been using several times before.
The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk to the Central Train Station and close to the Town Hall, Tivoli Gardens etc. Although on a noisy street the back rooms facing the garden were really quiet. The breakfast had excellent choice and was served in a classy dining room. A definte plpace to return to!!
Position in really good and near central Station , staff is kind , the hotel is nice , breakfast in hotel suggested
The shower is nice but all the floor became wet
location is terrific breakfast is excellent clean, friendly walking distance from train station
bathroom is really small, but it works
Location close to central Copenhagen and the main train station was very good. The breakfast was good but very expensive.
I didn't like being encouraged to up-grade the room which added to an already expensive stay. The breakfast was good but very expensive. We didn't have vouchers like virtually every other guest The morning street noise started at 4:00 am with deliveries on the cobbled stones
Location is great and the room is clean and tidy.
I booked two double bedrooms for 3 nights. Considering the (very high) price I paid, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of service received. As soon as we checked in, in the evening, we realized that the hotel was very poor value for money: the rooms we were given were extremely small, with a small and way too soft bed. They were on the 1st floor, overlooking a strip club, in the red light district, therefore the position wasn't really the best. When we closed the curtains to sleep we realized that, right under every window, there was a huge light illuminating the whole facade. Unfortunately, even with the curtain closed, this light kept the room very bright at night making it difficult to fall asleep. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable too. The morning of the day after we complained about the service received at the reception and asked for a room change. Initially our complaints were very badly handled by the girl at the reception, who told us to try changing the room later in the day. So we did: luckily in the afternoon we dealt with a nicer and much more professional receptionist, who offered us to change one room (out of the two booked). We went to see the other room with which we could have changed ours but it was even smaller and the bedding didn't look freshly cleaned. In fact, also in the rooms in which we were staying the bedding had black marks on and seemed to have been previously used. The toilet seat had urin drops on it. Furthrmore, we put the used towels in the shower (to be changed): the cleaners put them back, wet and dirty, on the towel hanger rather than changing them. At this stage, we decided to sray in the rooms we were originally been given (at least, we were the ones who had used the dirty towels and bedding..). I asked at the reception to fill in a module of complaints, which they didn't even have. This shows how unprepaired they were at dealing with customers complaints.
The location of the hotel is great, right near the central train station and close to Tivoli. The breakfast buffet offered a very good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. I realise that Copenhagen is expensive, so for the price this hotel was pretty good.
The room was very small for a 5 night stay. The room was very hot and stuffy but if we left the windows open at night the noise from outside was incredibly loud. Everything from a fight in the street, to a garbage truck at 3.00 am. The bed must have been way too soft as I had an incredibly sore back for the entire 5 nights and days that we stayed at this hotel, which improved as soon as we left. I felt like I didn't sleep at all well during our stay at this hotel.
Very good breakfast selection in a bright clean breakfast room. Free coffee and tea are available in the lobby during the day. Close proximity to the Central Train Station and shops / restaurants.
No air conditioning or fans..rooms on top floor can be very hot in summer. No batteries in the TV remote control and no spares at reception.
