First Hotel Vesterbro    

This hotel has a good location, not far from the main train station. We had a room on the fifth floor facing an internal courtyard. There is a safe in the room. There is a minibar in the room. There is wi-fi in the room, it is free, and it works well. The breakfast buffet is quite good.

The room was rather small, considering the high price we paid for it. Sometimes the breakfast room is too crowded. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the lift (even though there are 3 of them). The lobby is often too crowded, with a long line of guests wanting to check in, to check out or just to ask a question. Often there is only one member of staff to deal with many guests. The staff is not very helpful and friendly.

Bed had a good mattress

Toilet in room was somewhat smelly; cleanliness hotel is not great (sticky table tops, lots of dust in hallways to rooms, dirty carpets in hallways)

I liked location, quite environment, lack of crowded lobby during daytime, good restaurants near-by

Expensive breakfasts, lack of regular clean-up in the bath-room including timely replacement of towels

Breakfast was excellent

Small room and smaller beds........ Poor mainteneace for tub, (drained very slowly) Bathroom door had a loose panel. Price is 50% too high. Norrmally we would not pay more than 90.00 per night for this type of hotel.. Unless they lower the price we will not stay there again.

The breakfast was superior. Closeness to some major attractions.

We like a firm matress and the mattresses were extremely soft and uncomfortable. Disliked the blanket in that it fell on the floor during the night because we couldn't tuck it into the mattress. Your electrical light controls were unique but since we get up for nightly trips to the bathroom, there was no way to be able to briefly turn on a light.to find our way in a dark and strange room.

- Some of the staff was unfriendly. - Long line for breakfast - Paid extra for a larger room, but this was in poor condition, old and worn out - No coffee/tea in room despite what the room description said

The room was a bit neglected - the bathroom in particular. No tea / Coffe facilities in room . Bed was creaky. Shower flooded bathroom. Plates in breakfast room all chipped. Keys changed during stay meaning locked out of room.

Location is central.

Despite having a confirmation which states tea and coffee making facilities are available, the hotel does not have this in standard rooms and are unwilling to honor their booking confirmations. In addition staff are rude and unhelpful.

Staff was especially helpful. The location was good and within walking to the main Tourist Information office.

The description indicated coffee/tea available in the room which was not the case. Parking was expensive.

The friendly staff and the huge selection for breakfast. Set us up for the day.

Strange odour in room 535 possibly coming from the mould growing around the bath sealing mastic.

Very old furniture; not 4 star hotel quality; house cloning didn't put coffee and milk in the room; we had to leave them a written message to change our sheets; the informations at the desk were not correct

The room was shabby and had stained walls the furniture was missing pieces of wood the tv was an old grundig with only 1 english channel which was the bbc news the staff were rude and arrogant no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms as stated on the website noise from pipes during the night

I liked Mikkel Wiik who helped us at the front desk many times.......location was good for walking..wood floors...breakfast was excellent....pleasant service.

Everything about my stay in the hotel was very good. The staff went out of their way to help me and everything was clean and cosy. The breakfastbuffet was very very good.

The bar in the lobby was not open on the sunday while I had to wait for a few hours and I could not see way the staff in the lobby could not sell me a cup of coffie.

Very big hotel too big to feel really at home. I did not like the corridors of the hotel, it was not welcoming.

Location - all good

Location is central with bars, shops and restaurants around. Staff is very friendly and helpful. After we had found out that the heating does not turn on in our room, we were immediately upgraded to the larger room. Breakfast is standard though plenty, croissants are super fresh and soft, yammi.

Some furniture may need renovation or some level of cleaning, the rest was fine. No particular complaints. 4 stars maybe not, but good solid 3 stars is definitely yes.

Convenient and well positioned hotel. Good rooms good breakfast helpful and friendly staff.
