Score from 1586 reviews Good
Very warm in the room.
The room looked very nice and the hotel is located in a nice part of Cph.
The towels were not dry and the toilet not clean. No free wi-fi, not even in lobby/breakfast room.
Cleanliness of toilet and bathroom. Double bed. TV with Eurosport.
1 hour daily limit on wifi. No tea & coffee. Stench from bathroom drain. Noise from street below. Heating switched off centrally.
Location, location, location. Very nicely decorated rooms. Good taste in furniture, rug and wall paper. Room has a homey feeling to it.
Expensive breakfast; quite eager cleaning personnel that knocks twice before 10 am (check out at 11 am). More towels would be nice (we had two large and just one small one).
location location location(important things must said three times) soft bed(but maybe too soft for someone clean and neat neighbourhood. good breakfast(but compare to the fee is pricy... but as I traveled in 4 countries 10 cities in 13days, I may say location and comfort bed are all that matters(only to travellers always on the road, not to someone stays one place for weeks
currency change is a bit expensive. high room rate. the nice young girl may missed some information so I wasn't aware of until 2nd day's afternoon. NO mini bar or light dinner or buffet inclusive as my friend told me, only coffee and tea.
Nice location. Tee and coffee are available at the kitchen. Breakfast is ok.
One hour free wireless network. Old buildings and now under reconstruction, so may be noisy
- Nice staff - Nice design - Nice loaction
- Really bad cushions in the bed - Poor breakfast and they did no refill even if there were many customer eating breakfast - Top level room "small double room" to heated.
The location was perfect, 2 minutes from Nyhavn and 5 minutes from Amalienborg. The room was very well decorated and cosy. Staff were nice. Genuinely the hotel has a nice 'feel' to it.
The pillows weren't the most comfortable (2 pillows instead of 1 pillow + 1 cushion would have been better) and free wifi would be nice.
No available coffee/tea facilities in room or during the day in the bar/cafe Expensive one only choice for breakfast. Double bed was separate singles with separate duvets.
I made a reservation in the last minute and so there was only a small room left. But upon arrival the hotel offered me an upgrade for free - so I ended up in a big room with a very big and very comfortable bed. Greatly appreciated! Clean and nice hotel with easy access to restaurants in the neighborhood. I can strongly recommend the hotel.
Breakfast was a litlle pricy
We stayed at Hotel Neptun also a few months ago with a group and are going to stay there again next January although there was a construction going on - I think that says everything what we think of the hotel. H og S - Reykjavik
Very nice cosy hotel in a quite area and very close to Nyhavn. Everything is in a walking distance. Very comfortable bed. Two guys at reception were very helpful.
The hotel is under reconstruction (noticed in advance) and it hasn't been very pleasant to hear all construction sounds at 7 in the morning. But honestly, I spent 2 days on weekend and during the weekend it was peace and quite in the morning :)
The night porter ( from Jamaica) was very good and service minded. Needs mentioning.
minibar did not work (no cooling or power. could not be fixed during our stay. No soap in the bathroom, only shower. Tiles broken on floors and walls. reception personnel not very friendly. We have stayed in Neptun many times, but service level and comfort greatly reduced, and even had to pay for the WIFI ( out of touch!) and higher room price. would need some improvement for us to come back again
Friendly staff, great location and access to sights, subway, and restaurants
The staff were exceedingly helpful and polite. I even had a welcome home 1 night which was just how it felt ( like home). Everybody went out of their way to be friendly and accomodating. Will return and do highly recommend. Outstanding
Location is awesome, just perfect! Hotel is small and cozy, decorared with care and style. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Our room was very warm, and the aircon was out of order. Hard to fix, and our room was facing the internal courtyard si no windows could be opened for fresh air.
Excellent breakfast and related facilities. Prospects for a new bar will be a welcome and necessary addition at a claimed 4 star hotel.
Window to closed courtyard without fresh air.
-Kind people, always eager to help you anytime.(everybody speaks English..) -Clean city with good public transportation.
-Awfully expensive city. -Too cold in winter.
Staff helpfulness and overall comfort, good breakfast.
Wifi which was paying did not work all the time... Wifi is a standard commodity which nowadays is part of the service so it did not help that the connection was unreliable , in fairness to the staff I did not get charged for it...
We keep returning to this hotel primarily for the location, which is more pleasant than the Vesterbrogade area.It is a clean comfortable midscale place with a reasonable breakfast and is not too expensive for Copenhagen.
The hotel is undergoing a renovation program until at least May 2015, so some noise was evident even on Sunday. Overall though the noise level was low. On check out my credit card was used without the normal "do you want to leave the bill on the card?" question, so as I wanted to pay with cash (to avoid the hefty foreign card charge) a refund procedure was necessary. I'm still waiting for the refund!
room arrangement, beakfast selection and friendly staff
renovation work at hotel
Ambience - the room overlooked a covered courtyard Tea and coffee constantly available Rooftop terrace Free one hour of Wi-Fi Location close to Nyhavn
Pleasent and polite staff.
The hotell was difficult to enter with a stroller. The rooms were small (we paid for superior but it turned out to be a regular one), fungus in bathroom ceiling, uncomfortable beds and generally in urgent need of renovation and dirty.
The staff is helpful but inexperienced.
The bathroom is very badly designed and is dangerous for senior citizens.
