The hotel's personnel is of a great assistance and the room, although small, is quite comfortable. One thing I missed much was that the restaurant was open only during breakfast time. |

I have stayed there before, as have I stayed in other hotels in the area. Overall, I find that Hotel Ansgar is the most comfortable one and gives best value. The rooms are simple but fine. Most of the staff is quite relaxed and friendly (though not all). I have, on occassion, come across odd instances of inflexibility: This time around, for instance, I asked the waitress whether I could take a piece of bread from the breakfast area up to the room where my partner was sleeping in, and she said no. "Can I take a cup of coffee?", I asked. "No", she said, "you cannot take anything". So much for the "ligeglad" attitude that the Danes like to keep of themselves. |

Good location, close to down-town, easy access to and from Copenhagen international airport. Good breakfast. Value in synch with money. Clean rooms. Small (but clean) rooms |

Nice service, recently renovated and clean as anything. Right next to some shady parts of town, but far from frightening. Only drawback was the beds, which were a pain to sleep in. The beds were awful! |

There was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere with helpful easygoing staff - The buffet breakfast was extremely well organised and the staff worked hard to clear tables etc The room was small but ok for the price paid |

I mainly liked the modern design of the rooms and premises of the hotel; the rich breakfast in the morning and the cleanliness everywhere. Also the professionalism of the hotel staff was appreciated. The lift was not particularly handy because it did not stop at the same level of the floor and if you had heavy luggage you had to use a part of the staircase carrying the weight of your luggage. |

Location First of all, the receptionist treated us as if we had to know everything about the city! According to me, the receptionist should be friendly and willing to give a few tips about what to see and where to go in the city. Secondly, the rooms where really small but at the same time they had everything we needed. I hope they change the doors in the future because there was coming a lot of light from the corridor into the room during the night! I would rank this hotel as a "cheap hotel" from someone to stay, but the prices in Copenhagen are generally extremely high! |

Breakfast is excellent with a very good choice of bread. The room is quite comfortable. The hotel is located near Central Station and during the night the streets around seem a bit unsafe. Also the location is a little far from the most interesting places of Copenhagen. |
